DRAFTED

Idiomatic blueprint for this disciple's induction.

The Purpose
To impart God's grace through admonition.

Matthew 10:34-36 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household."
The Assignment
Hosea 2:2 "Bring charges against your mother, bring charges . . ."
Isaiah 58:1 “Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression."

Jesus Prays For His Disciples

John 17:6-26 Jesus, knowing the challenges that we would face as disciples, prayed for our protection before He ascended to Heaven. It is such a joy and comfort to know that Jesus, himself prays, not only for His disciples, but for all believers. ❤️

The Promise Of Protection

Isaiah 54:15-17 "Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. Behold, I have created the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire, who brings forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the spoiler to destroy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, AND their righteousness is from Me,” SAYS THE LORD.

Please don't get offended or set yourselves against me because of my use of urban colloquialisms. Though the translation is different, I speak only the Word of God to you. You might call it UCV (Urban Colloquialism Version). Rest assured that whatever translation I use, it was first recorded in the scriptures.

In yo face devil:
Psalm 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.
(No explanation needed: that's like the ultimate "in yo face.")
Daniel 6:10 And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before God, as was his custom since early days. (This Daniel did even as king Darius' spys peeped in; even a king can operate in err. Yet, at the end of the day, even king Darius was converted.)

Don't get it twisted:
Do not be received brothers and sisters. various scriptures (God's Word is always correct. No matter what I or anyone else tells you, including your pastor: take it to the scriptures. The Bible says " 'BE CAREFUL' to do everything your pastor tells you to do." Take it to the scriptures.)

God don't play; but He does have an awesome sense of humor:
Psalm 2:4 (GNT) From his throne in heaven the Lord laughs and mocks their feeble plans.
(Even the plans of Kings and nation's are comical when divised to touch God's chosen and anointed; i.e. just because you have a position in the church doesn't mean you can usurp God's authority. Awesome in biblical terms sometimes means terrifying or horrific. God's sense of humor is oftentimes manifested in the form of natural disasters, disease, famine, etc.)

Keep it 💯:
Matthew 18:12 "If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills to go to look for the one that wandered off?"
(Jesus could have used any analogy, but I believe He chose one hundred because it represents the whole truth of the matter; completeness.)

Chosen:
While chosen is not at all an urban colloquialism, would you believe that some church folk actually get upset with me for saying it? Why that's just basic Bible . . .
John 15: 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

God led me to the following analysis of Revelation 3, in the New Living Translation "Transformation Study Bible," pg. 2158. I thought it a perfect synopsis for this entry:
"The believers at Sardis received no words of condemnation. Nor did the Lord point out any doctrinal problems that required correction. Neither is there any mention of opposition or persecution. The church would have been better off had there been some suffering, for it had grown comfortable and content and was living on its past reputation. They had reputation without reality, form without force. Like the city itself, the church at Sardis was glorifying in past splendor but ignoring present decay. The church could have hope because Christ was the Head of the church and he was able to bring new life. He described himself as the one possessing the sevenfold Spirit and the seven stars. Only one Holy Spirit exists, the number "seven" speaks of fullness and completeness. The Holy Spirit gives life to the church, and life is exactly what the people at Sardis needed. The sevenfold Spirit of God is pictured as seven burning torches and as seven all-seeing eyes."
Amen
Once again I ask, "Is the church of today so perfect that it is above God's reproof? Consider the text. And again I say "Your glorying in the midst of leaven is not good."
(Whew!!! praise break, praise break, praise break)
I really hope y'all don't mind me linking to your video; it has truly become part of my daily inspiration:. Whatever You say LORD . . .

THANK YOU FOR THE LAMB
You are the miracle; be the blessing. Bless someone who can't bless you back.

Without Jesus we are nothing. Life is so empty and lonely, no wonder people get into all kinds of addictions trying to kill the emptiness they feel in their heart. Once we find Jesus and start praising and glorifying His holy name we start to get our life back. Jesus is center of all joy. Praise His name now and forever more. Amen
