We join with you in prayer for your son today and thank you for asking us to agree with you in Jesus' name.
We pray for the Lord's hand to be upon this doctor's appointment, for wisdom and discernment for the medical staff, and for favorable results that bring peace and encouragement. We also lift up his travels to and from the appointment, asking for the Lord's protection over every mile.
We are reminded of the Lord's care for us in all our ways, as Psalm 121:7-8 says, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. And we cling to His promise of healing and restoration, for Jeremiah 30:17 says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also take comfort in Isaiah 41:10 which says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus, and we lift up this precious son to You. We ask that You guide the doctor's hands and mind, grant clarity and favorable results, and let this appointment be used for good. We ask for Your divine protection over his travels, keeping him safe to and from, and bringing him home in peace. We cast all anxiety about this day upon You, for Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Fill this family with that peace today. When He healed the sick, pardon and healing were as one, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. We pray that the Great Physician, who alone can convey healing to body and soul, will be gracious to your son, guide the hands and wisdom of those who examine him, and grant favorable results according to His perfect will.

We are kept safe when we abide under the wings of our God, covered and warmed there as a bird covers her young, and we are secure when embarked in the good ship of Providence with Christ Himself as Captain who has foreordained all things.
