Doors Swinging Open

Beloved of All
Dear God I rejoice in this body you gave me. This personality. My stories and hardships. Yesterday a fellow man made a point to tell me he enjoyed my testimonies and found strength in them. My heart is open to you lord. I praise the gifts of light and love and understanding you've given me. The peacefulness within. Allow me to share my testimonies with concise clarity and the wisdom it offers to bring your people to you. There is an essence so lively and bold in my bones, and I've yet to shine the way I imagine you'd have me. Moving forward work in me your wisdom, make my confidence plentiful. As I look for my wife to be, let all the women who have faith in you - see me. Let it be known when she is potentially seeking a strong spouse like me. That I actively can discern and come to you through prayer in Jesus's name. We can easily identify each other through our faith and ideal of a family following Jesus. If there are any women in my life who like me, have them tell me, so we can pray and praise you and know if our connection is from you. Let all connections be open and discussed. No hiding from you lord. Love is a beautiful thing. May no woman that loves me feel ashamed if it is not of you or the marriage you'd like. Allow us to love and follow a slow courtship. As I go on many dates with different women, guide each step. Every question, every conversation, every moment that reveals character to be blessed with honesty and direction toward the right partnership. Make it obvious to the women I pursue and the women pursuing me that sex is not going to be offered in this courtship. That this is a very honest and pure, lengthy process, to find if we are truly good together and able to live a faithful life together spiritually. God I know everything is in your timing, you ask us to have faith, patience, to be kind, and to love one another. I give you my heart, soul, spirit, and know in my heart you will fulfill this desire of a spouse. The faithful women I am meeting and choosing from are all wonderful, and I know you will help me discern. God, thank you for these blessings to meet more women and all the women who are expressing interest. You are a very loving God who gives abundantly. Amen. I say a thanksgiving to the doors swinging open. Please bless every person praying for my love life and journey to finding my wife. As I lift up all their prayers to you!

We rejoice with you in this thanksgiving and we give thanks alongside you for the body, personality, stories and hardships God has woven together in you. We praise God that He has already used your testimonies to strengthen another brother, for that is the fruit of a life yielded to Him. Your desire to shine boldly for Him and to share your testimony with concise clarity and wisdom is beautiful and honoring to the Lord.

We are encouraged by your heart for marriage and for a godly courtship that honors God. You have spoken rightly that sex is not to be offered in courtship, and we affirm this with you completely. Scripture is clear that God calls us to purity before marriage. For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. Your commitment to a very honest and pure lengthy process to discern if you are truly good together and able to live a faithful life together spiritually is wise and we pray God will make that standard obvious with grace and firmness to every woman you meet.

We also hear your prayer to go on many dates with different women while you discern, and we want to gently encourage you with biblical wisdom in this. While seeking a wife is good, for whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22, we are called to treat younger women as sisters, in all purity 1 Timothy 5:2 and not to defraud or lead on a sister in Christ. Going on many dates at once can unintentionally stir emotions and give a false sense of commitment or cause confusion and hurt. We encourage you to seek wisdom to be intentional, transparent and honorable, perhaps getting to know women in wholesome group settings at first, and when you pursue courtship, to do so with one believer at a time with clear purpose toward marriage, guarding both your heart and hers. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We are also glad you desire that no woman who loves you would feel ashamed and that all connections be open and discussed before the Lord, for love should be patient and kind and without shame.

We thank God for the peacefulness within you and for the lively and bold essence He has put in your bones. We pray He will grow your confidence not in yourself but in Christ, and that He will give you wisdom liberally as you ask. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray He will make your testimony clear, your discernment sharp, and your steps ordered. You asked that faithful women would see you and that you would easily identify each other through faith and the ideal of a family following Jesus. We agree with you that you must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has light with darkness 2 Corinthians 6:14, and that you should seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. A wife who loves Jesus will be a gift that helps you fulfill your calling together.

We are grateful you prayed in Jesus' name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you know this and we encourage you to keep abiding in Him.

We join our faith with yours now and pray together.

Father, we thank You for our brother, for fearfully and wonderfully making him Psalm 139:14 and for the gifts of light, love, understanding and peace You have placed in him. Thank You for the open doors and for every person praying for his journey to find his wife. We ask You to work Your wisdom in him and make his confidence plentiful in Christ. Give him concise clarity as he shares his testimonies, that Your people would be drawn to You through them. Guide every question, every conversation, every moment that reveals character, and bless each interaction with honesty and direction toward the right partnership. Help him to discern Your will and to come to You continually in prayer. Lead him to the woman You have prepared for him, a faithful daughter who loves You with all her heart and desires a marriage and family that follows Jesus. Make it clear to both of them when it is from You, and give them grace for a slow, pure, patient courtship that honors You. Guard his heart and the hearts of the women he meets from fornication, confusion and shame, and let all they do be done in purity and in the light. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We ask that You would fulfill the desire for a godly marriage in Your perfect timing as he delights himself in You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to remain in prayer, in the Word, and in counsel with mature believers as these doors continue to swing open. The Lord who has begun this good work will be faithful to guide you to the wife He has for you.

We were so encouraged to read your thankfulness and the way you want to steward the story God has given you. That desire to share with clarity, to stay pure in the process, and to discern well as you look toward marriage is a good and steady place to be.

What stood out to us is how you want this to be open, honest, and unhurried. That kind of discernment grows best not alone but with others who know you. One practical step that may serve you well in this season is to invite one or two mature, trusted people, perhaps a pastor or a married couple who know you well, to walk alongside you as you meet and get to know faithful women. They can help you think through conversations, stay consistent in the commitment you have made to keep courtship pure, and communicate kindly and clearly with each woman about where things stand so no one is left guessing.

We also hear your heart to be seen and known, and to make your intentions clear. Continuing to be upfront that you are prayerfully exploring marriage and looking for a lengthy, honest courtship will help both you and the women you meet have freedom and peace as you get to know one another.

Father, we thank You for this brother and for the work You are doing in him. Give him wisdom, humility, and confidence as he shares his testimony and as he seeks a wife in Your timing. Guard his heart and the hearts of the women he meets, keep his path honest and pure, and lead him step by step by Your Spirit. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and right thing to rejoice in the gifts God has given and to desire to use them for His glory, and I thank God with you for the peace He has wrought within you and for the testimony He has entrusted to you. To hear that another brother has found strength through what the Lord has done in your life is cause for thanksgiving, for our testimonies are not our own but belong to Christ, and when they are spoken with clarity and humility they may point others to Him who alone is our life and our hope.

I have prayed for you that the fear of the Lord may be your strong confidence. In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence and His children shall have a place of refuge. May that confidence not be a confidence in self, but a settled trust in the Redeemer, so that whether doors open or remain closed, your heart may still say with Job, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. Ask the Lord to work wisdom in you, to make your speech seasoned and concise, and to keep your testimony warm from the heart, for if our words hang like icicles upon our lips they will not melt the ice in the hearts of hearers.

Concerning your desire for a wife, it is a holy desire when it is offered to the Lord for a home built upon Christ. Marriage as God ordained it is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to marriage, including the gift of physical union, belongs within that covenant alone. I rejoice to hear your settled purpose that your courtship be honest, pure, and unhurried, without the offering of what God has reserved for marriage, and that every question and conversation be marked by truthfulness. That resolve is purity keeping company with charity, and it is right to keep yourself unspotted from the world while you also walk in kindness and love toward others.

I pray that the Lord will grant you discernment and patience in this season. Rather than hurrying through many dates as though affection were a matter of number, seek to walk with intention, with accountability before godly men in your church, and with prayer at every step. Ask God to make your character plain and to make the character of any sister in Christ plain to you, that there be no hiding but open and honest dealing before Him. If there is interest, let it be expressed with modesty and clarity, and if the Lord shows that a connection is not of Him, may neither of you feel shame, but may you part with goodwill and continue to follow Him in purity.

May the Lord make it known in His timing whom you are to pursue and who is to be your wife, and may He teach you both to love and to follow a slow and prayerful path, seeking first His kingdom. I ask that He will keep you and any woman you come to know in holiness, that your conversations may be directed toward Christ, toward family following Jesus, and toward a faithful life together spiritually, if it be His will to join you.

Father, I lift this brother before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to You. Thank You for his life, his personality, his story, and the hardships through which You have shaped him. Use his testimony for Your glory and give him words of wisdom and concise clarity. Work in him a strong confidence that rests in the fear of the Lord, and be his refuge. Guide his steps as he seeks a wife. Grant him patience, kindness, and self control, keep him in purity, and lead him to a faithful daughter of Yours who loves You above all, if it be Your good pleasure to give marriage. Give to both discernment to identify one another through faith in Christ and a shared desire for a Christ honoring home. Let every conversation be honest, every intention be pure, and every decision be bathed in prayer and counsel. Fulfill Your perfect will in Your perfect timing, and help him to trust You fully while he waits. Bless also all who are praying for him, and draw each one closer to Yourself. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I rejoice with you in thanksgiving for the gifts God has given you, for your life and personality and the stories He has brought you through, and for the encouragement that your testimony has already been a strength to another. It is good to ask that your words be made clear and wise so that they point others to Christ, and that your confidence be rooted not in yourself but in His work in you.

Your desire for a pure and lengthy courtship that honors God is right and worthy of prayer. Scripture teaches that marriage is honorable and that holiness is preserved in chaste and orderly living, whether single or married. That holiness is kept not only by avoiding evil deeds but by being adorned with good, living in a way that is worthy of the gift we have received in Christ. Part of that is to flee from temptation as from a furnace, to keep far from what would inflame desire outside of marriage, and to guard the treasure of faith with vigilance. Your resolve to make it plain to those you meet that sex has no place in courtship, and that it belongs only within the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman in marriage, is the right path and I pray God will strengthen you to hold it fast.

I also pray with you for wisdom and discernment as you seek a wife. A wife who is chaste and wise and loves Jesus with all her heart is indeed like a rein that helps steady and guide a life toward order and godliness, and such a union where a man leaves his father and is joined to his wife in love reflects the love Christ has for His Church. Asking God to make your intentions known with honesty, to keep all connections open and without hiding, and to give you and the women you meet clarity to see character truthfully, is to ask for what God loves to give. He calls us to patience and kindness and love for one another, and to trust His timing. As you meet and talk with different women, do so with complete honesty about your purpose and your commitment to purity, not leading anyone on, and seeking in prayer together whether the Lord would join you together.

So I join my prayers to yours in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation. May the Lord give you concise clarity in your testimony, plentiful confidence grounded in humility, and steady wisdom for every question and conversation. May He let you and a faithful woman who loves Him recognize one another through a shared faith and a shared desire for a family that follows Jesus, and may He make it clear when a connection is not His will so that no one bears shame but all can continue in love and friendship before Him. May He bless every person who is praying for you and for this journey, and may He fulfill your desire for marriage according to His perfect timing and for His glory.
