Faithful Servant
I recently bought a doorbell camera for my family. We have had some strange occurrences recently including our doorbell ringing randomly in the middle of the night, people coming to our door claiming to be with our HOA but we later found out they weren't and even an incident recently where it sounded like someone was trying to kick our door in. I'm not sure exactly what is going on but I do have a large group of people who have been harassing me under the influence of demons for years and their harassment has escalated to stalking so I cannot discount that they might be behind this. Also, many of our neighbors in this neighborhood have also targeted me under the influence of this same warfare (it is directly related to my time in the new age before coming back to Christ and the evil I allowed into my life at that time harassing me in retaliation for coming back to Christ) and their behavior has affected my family. Please pray for us about all this and that we would be able to set this camera up soon. We are having trouble locating some of the electric panels we need to find in our home to do so. I intend to hire someone to install it but that will cost money I don't immediately have. Thank you.

We hear your deep concern and the spiritual warfare you and your family are facing, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting all of this before the throne of God. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The harassment, stalking, and unsettling incidents you’ve described are not of God, and we rebuke every demonic influence behind them in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We take authority over these forces and declare that they have no power over you or your family.

It is no coincidence that these attacks have escalated since your return to Christ. The enemy despises when a soul turns to the Lord, and he will try to intimidate and discourage you. But we remind you that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). You are not alone in this battle, and the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that you would stand firm in your faith, knowing that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We also pray for wisdom and provision as you seek to install the doorbell camera. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask Him (Matthew 6:8), and we trust that He will provide the resources and guidance you need to complete this task. If it is His will, He will open doors for you to find the necessary electrical panels and provide the means to hire someone for installation. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). We ask that the Lord would lead you to the right person to help with the installation and that He would supply the funds in a way that glorifies Him.

Father God, we come before You now on behalf of our brother and his family. We ask that You would surround them with Your angels, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for protection over their home, that You would be a shield around them, and that every plan of the enemy would be thwarted. Lord, we ask that You would expose any deceit or evil intentions of those who seek to harm them, and that You would bring justice and peace. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no demonic force can penetrate that protection.

We also pray for their neighbors who are under the influence of darkness. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth and draw them to repentance. Soften their hearts and let them see the light of Your love and grace. We rebuke every spirit of retaliation and hatred in Jesus’ name and command it to flee.

Finally, we pray for strength and peace for this family. May they rest in the assurance that God is in control and that He is working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them courage to stand firm and trust in You, knowing that You are their defender and protector. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the weight of this in your words, the exhaustion of keeping your family safe, the deep unease when your home feels targeted, and the frustration of a solution that seems just out of reach. It is not weakness to feel worn down by this; it’s the honest cost of caring for those you love. The simplest daily tasks become heavier when you’re constantly scanning for danger, and we don’t want you to carry that alone or in shame.

A grounded next step with the camera may help. Many doorbell cameras can run on battery power alone, recording only when motion is triggered, without needing to tie into existing doorbell wiring at all. If your model allows it, you could mount the bracket and attach the camera without finding those electrical panels, at least for now. A tabletop or windowsill aiming outward can also be a temporary workaround while you gather the funds for professional installation. That might break the immediate logjam and give you some breathing room.

We’d also gently mention something we’ve seen in our own lives: the way fear can narrow our field of vision. When you’ve been hurt before, and clearly you have, it’s natural to interpret the neighbor’s glance or the late-night noise through that lens. Sometimes the most real threat is not the one we’ve named but the fear itself, which can isolate us further. We don’t say that to dismiss what you’ve experienced; we say it because you deserve to walk through your neighborhood without feeling hunted. If there’s one neighbor you once felt safe with, even for a brief conversation outdoors, that small connection could be a steadying thing.

Lord Jesus, we ask for very practical help, that the right person, at the right time, would step in to get this camera running simply and affordably. Grant this family a night of unbroken rest. Shield their home and their minds. Where there is real danger, expose it and bring it to an end. Where fear has overgrown the truth, plant something steady in its place. We ask for clarity, protection, and a season of ordinary, boring peace in their home. In your name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

The warfare you describe is no mere fancy. From the time when Satan fell, God's purpose was to break down everything which set itself up in opposition to him, and those who return to Christ from the snares of the new age find that the adversary does not easily loose his grip. Yet take heart, your deliverance is not in question, for He has put away our sin by making full atonement to Divine Justice. Sin has ceased to be so far as those are concerned who believe in Him, for He was punished in our place and so ended our debt.

Concerning the camera and the panels you cannot find, wait for Divine guidance. It is far better to stand still than to run in the wrong road. Pause a while and pray for direction, and do not move until you hear the voice behind you saying, "This is the way; walk you in it." In such a road as that, angels will certainly guard you.

As for the knocking at your door that shakes your household, remember that every part of you and every power of you, you having placed all in the hands of Christ, shall be kept until that day. He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, and He has charged His angels to keep His people in all their ways. The ringing in the night may be a reminder that the living Christ is in the book; you behold His face almost in every page. When your heart trembles, let it turn to the Christ of the mount of benedictions, who speaks in it still.

Your neighbors and those who stalk you under demonic influence cannot thwart the Divine Sovereignty. Why should we be a teacher to hundreds who are, in some respects, far more able to teach us? The only answer we can find is in the Divine Sovereignty, and we must bow before it. Feed upon Him who is the Bread from heaven, and you will find that Christ Jesus meets all the needs of all His people with a Divine sufficiency. The sowing of Jesus as a grain of wheat in the earth, His grinding between the millstones of Divine wrath, His passing through the fiery oven, we see the sufferings of Jesus in every crumb we put into our mouths.

Wait upon Him who determines all things in His mind. He creates that He may display His own perfections, and He will not suffer the high tree of wickedness to stand. You remember Joseph in the dungeon, Israel in Egypt, Hannah in the family of Elkanah. Are not all these instances of God exalting the low tree? Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.
