God, I do know that I need to be closer to You and to not only be closer, but to abide in You.

I do not abide as I should.

But You know my heart and You know that I am a good person with a good soul.

I need You.

I used to sometimes feel Your comfort at times.

But I haven't been feeling it. But I know that I must still believe and so I do.

I know You are--You just are.

And I know, without doubt, that You allow things to pop up and happen in order to get my attention when I have drifted away.

I agree with You.

But please, please I beg You to grant me Your miracles in these horribly troubled times of enemies and problems and such bitterness for me.

Please, God.

I am so terribly terrified and alone with no support from anyone or anywhere.

Amen, always Amen.

Trust in the unfailing love of the Lord, and in His promises.

Give Him this day and everything that it holds.

Walk in His goodness, knowing that His gentle hand will guide you and keep you.

I pray that the Lord hears your prayer requests and answers them according to His will.

I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. Just wish I could leave it all to God that easily. It's one of the most difficult things to do, to just let go.

Thank you! I will always include you in my prayers. Yes, it is hard to let go.....but sometimes for Our own Peace of mind.....we need to place it in Our Lord's hands and Trust Him!
