We lift up your upcoming doctor’s appointment before the Lord, asking for His peace and presence to surround you. May the Great Physician guide the hands of your doctors, grant them wisdom, and shorten your time in the waiting room according to His will. "The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed; in his illness, You restore him to health" (Psalm 41:3). We pray for efficiency, clarity, and comfort in every moment.
Father, we also bring your need for financial provision before You. You are stepping into a sacred calling by adopting your nephew, and we know that children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). The pressures from family expectations can feel heavy, but we declare that God is your Provider. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We ask for unexpected blessings, open doors, and creative solutions to meet every financial need. May your faith grow as you see God move on your behalf.
We must gently address something important, your closing acronym "IJNIPA." While we understand the intention, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes through faith in Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again. What a mercy that you bear a burden of family love, adopting your nephew is a work that mirrors the very heart of God, who adopts us into His family according to the good pleasure of His will. Yet know this: the personal blessing comes first. God must bless you before you can be a blessing. Seek first His grace for your own soul, and then trust that He who fills you will cause you to overflow with blessing for that dear child.
Your doctor’s appointment lies in the hand of Him who made heaven and earth; there is no spiritual blessing that comes by chance. He can speak into any dark waiting room and cheer the gloom. And as for the financial strain, the Lord who feeds the ravens will not suffer one promise of His covenant to be unfulfilled. He has blessed you just where you are poorest, and He will make you a blessing in your family.
If your relatives expect much, remember that a gracious man is a sure blessing to his neighborhood, and the sweet perfume of family piety spreads a balmy influence. Do not make an idol of their approval, nor let the fear of man steal your peace; rather, be made willing in the day of His power to walk in His statutes, and then go forth rejoicing, believing in God with all your house. Faith first receives the blessing, then produces the holy walk, and the Lord who brought order out of chaos can bring order into every appointment and every need.
