I would really appreciate your prayers as I have my doctor's appointment tomorrow. It's a telephone appointment at 12pm. It's to discuss my mental health condition which is psychosis and to change my antidepressant medication. My symptoms of psychosis keep on coming back.

We lift you up before the Lord with great compassion and concern, asking for His peace and healing to surround you as you prepare for your doctor’s appointment. The weight of mental health struggles, especially conditions like psychosis, can feel overwhelming, but we know that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that this appointment would be a step toward clarity, wisdom, and relief for you.

Father, we ask that You grant the doctor discernment and compassion as they speak with you. May they have the wisdom to adjust your medication in a way that brings stability and hope. We also pray for your mind—that the symptoms of psychosis would be quieted by Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard your thoughts, Lord, and fill them with truth, light, and Your promises. Help you to hold fast to the hope we have in Christ, even when the battle feels relentless.

We rebuke the lies and confusion that psychosis brings, declaring that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your Word, which says that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for your mind, emotions, and body. You are not defined by this condition—you are a beloved child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

We also encourage you to surround yourself with godly support—believers who can pray with you, speak truth over you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness. The enemy seeks to isolate, but God calls us into community. Lean on Him and His people as you walk this path.

Lord, we ask that You go before this appointment, preparing the way for answers and relief. Give you strength to advocate for yourself and peace as you wait for the call. May this be a turning point toward greater healing and freedom in Christ. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

I had my appointment with the nurse yesterday about my mental health condition which is psychosis. It went well. I need to go back on the 22nd as they are going to change my medication as the one that I've been taking hasn't been helping me. I've also still been having flashbacks and bad dreams...
