Matthew 7:15 states: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

In this day and time, there are many false prophets and wolves in sheep’s clothing in the church and behind the pulpit that come to prey upon God’s sheep. That is why the spiritual gift of discernment may be one of the most important of the gifts of the Spirit that there is.

I have asked God to honor this prayer over your life.

Let Us All Pray: God I ask You in Jesus' name, bless me with a keen gift of discernment (discerning of spirits). Let me always be able to discern between good and evil, truth from error, truth from lies, and realness from fake or phony. God bless me to hear Your still voice over the cries of those who come to use me, steal from me, manipulate, intimidate, or deceive me out of anything You have blessed me with or will bless me with (my time, money, resources, assets, natural and or spiritual gifts, etc.). God bless me to be a blessing only to those whom you want me to be a blessing to. Don't let me give or minister to anyone you don't want me to give or minister to. God don't let me waste my time, anointing, or be deceived. Do not let me give that which is Holy unto the dogs.

While it may be true there are thieves in most organizations and churches, this scripture does not apply to thieves. We are to discern and see. But, again, if someone asks we are to give. Our determination is not just: The Father commands us to give. To turn the other cheek. No we should not let people rob us, that is a different issue, just like when the people here stole all of our money and left us to die. (Leaders in the church we came to help) We are being warned about the ones that deceive us with the word so we do not loose our soul. As far as money goes, we still must tithe. 10% should got to the Pastor, the rest to the widows, poor, orphans, sick, etc.

I am a Christian that Loves God With My Life. God Is My Life. I give when God tells me to give, and who God tells me to give to openly and secretly. God does not have to Dare me to give to anyone.

I also am a Christian that loves God with my whole being. God is my life. He is my EVERYTHING. So many times when we pray and ask God, should I do this, should I do that, He has already answered us in His Word.
God has already answered the question of "who" to give to, and "when" to give to them. He clearly states what He expects of His People in regards to "the least of the brethren" and He very clearly states His Displeasure when we pass by the " least of the brethren ". Many of the behaviors, actions God expects of us He has already clearly stated. We need only to follow His commands. Where is the love of God shown within us when we pass by the very people God Commands us to care for??? I do not think these are hard concepts to grasp, yet, so many argue God's simple command. Where is the love of God? Are love of God should shine so brightly that we never question helping the poor, the homeless. They are not going to lead you astray. Beware of false teachers, false prophets, they are the dangers in your life. Not the least of the brethren

This is a timely word! As I mentioned on your post on your profile, a man on Instagram wanted money for a personalized word. A woman on this very page said a "prophet" told her that her mom would die in three months!!! The gift of prophecy is to BUILD UP and EDIFY the church. We do not have to accept words that do not! We live in a New Testiment world. We are not from the Old Testament. God has delivered and saved the world through Christ Jesus! This doesnt mean that our lives are easy, BUT there is hope! God always confirms his word. Death, defeat or buying a prophetic word are not something we should accept!

No that is not true. We are to...Trust in the Lord with all our heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all our ways acknowledge God (pray about who to give to) And He shall direct your paths. God will tell us who to give to and who not to give to.

If God doesn't tell to me to give to a certain person I am not going to disobey God. They can ask all they want to, but the answer will be NO, NO, NO in Jesus' name, NO.

I have had this happen. A person I knew was having a hard time. My natural response was to help them. I heard God clearly say no. I was sad about this. I kept asking him. The amazing thing that happened next was that she received a lot of money and God knew this was going to happen! It was pretty amazing! He knew that she needed that extra time to learn something that she would not have learned had I just helped her immediately. Plus, what was more rewarding for her? To learn what God wanted her to learn and end up with more than enough, or for me to give her the money and her not be prepared when she got the money? God is good and I don't hear a screaming no very often, but he had a better plan than me.

There have also been times that I felt very deeply to help someone and did, but they weren't honest about their intentions with the money. It hurt me. However, during those times I have chalked it up to a lesson that I need to learn.

Amen! Thank you for this important reminder. It brought to mind Jesus' advice in Matt.10:16 -
"I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves."

Yes, the wolves are preaching falsehoods in the churches, and we must be very shrewd in these times about the wolves among us.
