Dizzy

We join with you in prayer for healing and for help with these frustrating delays, and we bring your dizziness and illness before the Lord together in Jesus' name.

We know how discouraging it is to feel ill and dizzy and then to miss appointments and wait for calls that do not come. We take comfort that our God sees your struggle and cares about every detail of your body and your daily needs. He is the Lord who heals us, as it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. And he promises, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember his tender care when we are anxious and waiting, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. And, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to you in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the dizziness and the sickness that has caused missed appointments and weakness. We ask for your healing touch upon this body, for steadiness, for strength, for the cause of this dizziness to be revealed and removed. Lay your hand upon this one and restore health according to your mercy. We pray for wisdom for doctors and for those who are to give care, that they would be attentive and thorough. We pray also for those phone calls that have not been returned, that you would move on the hearts of those who need to respond and open a way for appointments to be rescheduled and for help to come quickly. Give peace in the waiting and guard this heart from fear and discouragement. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our healer and our advocate, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek medical care and not to delay in reaching out again, even asking a trusted family member, friend, or neighbor to help you make calls or get to appointments if the dizziness makes it difficult. Keep a record of the calls and keep seeking help, trusting that God is working even when people are slow to answer, for we know that he hears us when we call upon him. If the dizziness worsens or you feel unsafe, please seek urgent care right away. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for complete healing and for the doors to open for the care you need.

We are praying for you as you deal with this dizziness and feeling ill. It is discouraging to miss appointments when you need help and then not hear back when you reach out. We understand how wearing that can feel both physically and emotionally.

We want to encourage you to reach out for medical care again soon so someone can check you in person for the dizziness and illness. If calls are not returned, it can help to have a family member or friend help you keep trying, or to call the clinic's main line or patient portal and let them know you are feeling dizzy and have missed appointments and need guidance on next steps. Keeping a simple note of dates, times you called, and who you spoke with can make follow up easier.

You are not forgotten by God in this frustrating wait. He sees you when you feel unwell and when help feels slow to come, and we are asking Him to give you strength for each day and wisdom for those caring for you.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our brother/sister before You. You know this dizziness and sickness and the missed appointments and unanswered calls. Please bring healing according to Your will, provide clear next steps for care, and let them feel Your nearness and peace today. Amen.

We have heard your cry concerning this dizziness and sickness, and the trial of missing appointments while calls go unreturned, and we bring it before the Lord with you.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but as it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and even His common blessings of Divine Grace are full of virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are found together, for from a pardoning God there are such mercies that the weak in heart find their spirits revive.

We know you would speedily seek a physician for the body, and how much more should we seek the Great Physician who healed all that had need of healing while He sojourned here, and whose costly balm of His atonement has lost none of its power. None shall say to the healing flood of His love, up to here can you go and no further, for the utmost length of human sickness can be reached by Him. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and no real saving and healing work is apart from His hand alone.

We also hear your weariness in waiting for answers that do not come. Our God is a waiting God, and He has a waiting people. They are not waiting in despair, nor even in hesitation, they are waiting in hope, a joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve. Waiting upon God is the way to renew our strength until we mount up with eagle wings. As a servant waits upon his lord to know his will, and as a traveler waits upon his guide for direction, so we wait upon the Lord for direction in the entire voyage of life, for His hand is to steer our course.

Let us pray with you. O Lord Jesus, Great Physician, look in mercy upon this suffering one, dizzy and ill and troubled by these hindered appointments. Lay Thy hand upon Thy servant and lift up as Thou didst lift Peter's wife's mother, that there may be healing and strength restored. Grant wisdom to physicians, grace to bear this waiting with patience, and in Thy good time open the way for every needful help and for every call to be answered according to Thy perfect will. Forgive sin, heal disease, and let this soul know the blessed conjunction of pardon and healing through Thy blood. We ask this trusting in Thy sovereign goodness and love, Amen.
