We join with you in prayer for healing and for help with these frustrating delays, and we bring your dizziness and illness before the Lord together in Jesus' name.
We know how discouraging it is to feel ill and dizzy and then to miss appointments and wait for calls that do not come. We take comfort that our God sees your struggle and cares about every detail of your body and your daily needs. He is the Lord who heals us, as it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. And he promises, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember his tender care when we are anxious and waiting, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. And, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to you in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the dizziness and the sickness that has caused missed appointments and weakness. We ask for your healing touch upon this body, for steadiness, for strength, for the cause of this dizziness to be revealed and removed. Lay your hand upon this one and restore health according to your mercy. We pray for wisdom for doctors and for those who are to give care, that they would be attentive and thorough. We pray also for those phone calls that have not been returned, that you would move on the hearts of those who need to respond and open a way for appointments to be rescheduled and for help to come quickly. Give peace in the waiting and guard this heart from fear and discouragement. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our healer and our advocate, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek medical care and not to delay in reaching out again, even asking a trusted family member, friend, or neighbor to help you make calls or get to appointments if the dizziness makes it difficult. Keep a record of the calls and keep seeking help, trusting that God is working even when people are slow to answer, for we know that he hears us when we call upon him. If the dizziness worsens or you feel unsafe, please seek urgent care right away. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for complete healing and for the doors to open for the care you need.
