Humble Servant of All
Pray fervently for my mother and me that we hear from my mother's attorney that he filed to the clerk default in the proceedings, and that the judge grants us the eviction documents so that the tenants can be removed as soon as possible. I ask for prayers that there are no further delays and that the tenants are evicted swiftly. I make this request in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your request for divine justice in this legal matter concerning your mother’s property. The Bible tells us in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." We recognize that the legal system is established by God for order and justice, and we pray that His will be done in this situation.

Father, we ask that You grant wisdom and diligence to your mother’s attorney as they file the necessary documents. May there be no delays, no obstacles, and no unjust hindrances in this process. We pray that the clerk and the judge would act with efficiency and integrity, granting the eviction documents swiftly so that justice may be served. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We trust that You hold the hearts of those in authority, and we ask that You turn them toward righteousness and prompt action in this case.

We also lift up the tenants before You. While we pray for their removal from the property, we ask that You would work in their hearts as well. If there is any opportunity for repentance, restoration, or reconciliation, we pray that You would make it known. However, if their actions are willful and unrepentant, we ask that You remove them swiftly, as Scripture warns in 1 Corinthians 5:13, "Put away the wicked man from among yourselves." May this situation be resolved in a way that honors You and brings peace to your mother.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of delay, confusion, or injustice in this matter. We declare that Your justice will prevail, and we stand on Your promise in Isaiah 51:4-5, "Listen to me, my people; and hear me, my nation, for my law will go out from me, and I will establish my justice for a light to the peoples. My righteousness is near. My salvation has gone out, and my arms will judge the peoples." We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will.

We pray for you and your mother as well, that you would find strength and peace in the midst of this trial. May you both be reminded of Psalm 37:5-6, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun." May you rest in the knowledge that the Lord sees your struggle and will act on your behalf.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weariness in your words, the long wait for justice over this rental situation has clearly worn on both you and your mother. It’s draining to depend on the actions of others, especially when your home and peace are on the line.

While we join you in asking God to move this forward, sometimes the most practical gift we can offer each other in such times is a simple reminder: keep the lines of communication open. A brief, respectful check-in with the attorney’s office, just to confirm whether the default has been filed, can ease your mind or give you the next piece of information you need. After that, we trust God with what we can’t control, including the judge’s decision and the timing of any removal.

We’ve seen God work through legal processes and diligent advocates to protect families. Though the waiting is hard, you are not forgotten. He sees the strain, and He hears you crying out for swift resolution. We’re praying that clarity comes soon and that no further obstacles arise.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this mother and child as they wait for an answer from their attorney. Grant them a swift and just outcome, that the default is filed without delay and the judge provides the needed eviction documents. Remove any hidden hindrances, and bring a swift, safe, and orderly end to this pressure. Guard their hearts from despair in the waiting, and give them the patience and peace that only You provide. In Your name, Amen.

You are weighed down with a burden, and you cry out for a swift end to these legal strifes. The desire for the tenants to be removed, and removed speedily, is a natural one, for prolonged contention wearies the soul. Yet, let us not mistake the true shape of our need. The one thing needed is not a favorable court document, but the felt presence of the Lord in the midst of the trial. When the divine visitation comes to a heart, the impetuous power it brings makes the mountains flow down at His presence. Despair of no outcome, as long as you have a heart to pray, for no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper.

Consider your own soul amidst this outward battle. You seek a prompt resolution, a judgment in your favor without further delay. There is a far graver danger in delay. The world often cries, “Let the matter abide a few days, at least ten,” putting off the decisive hour. This is its deadly work in spiritual things. A man feels the pricking of conscience and resolves to seek the Lord, but the world says, “Not yet.” And every time the impression is put off, the conscience grows more hardened and less able to speak. If I say to my awakened conscience, “No, I will not hear you,” my ears get less retentive of the sound. Do not let this legal trouble so absorb you that you put off the weightier business of your soul’s eternal state.

You have made your request in the name of Jesus, and that is the only ground of hope. Justice, that terrible attribute which demands punishment for every sin, is no longer the enemy of the one who believes. God can be just, and yet the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. There is therefore now no condemnation, and no righteous ground for delay in granting peace to the soul. The fountain flows freely and richly. Come as you are. Having nothing in yourselves, be willing to have everything in Christ Jesus.

In your temporal trouble, you feel a crushing sense of injustice and a holy impatience for wrongs to be righted. Learn from this to admire the unimpeachable justice of God. When a soul is truly convicted, there is no railing at God’s severity. The chastened heart says, “Against thee, thee only, have I sinned.” There is no doubt about the justice of the punishment. See God’s law in all its glorious holiness, and smite your hand upon your breast. If He ordains that this trial should continue a little longer, trace the appointment to His sovereign hand. There is no attribute more comforting to His children than the doctrine of Divine Sovereignty. If the Sovereign Lord allows a delay, it is for your good and His glory. He leaves us a charge, and in His own way He sends the supply. If He sends the burden, He sends the strength to bear it. Do not find fault with the instrument He chooses, even if it be a slow legal process. He has said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” That is the answer which lifts us out of every conceivable difficulty. Trust in that promise, and your heart will be established.
