We join you in thanking our Father God for His goodness and mercy, and we stand with you in prayer for your son. We hear your heart for him and the struggles, pain and injustice you have seen, and we take comfort that our God sees it all and His hand is not shortened to save.
We are encouraged that you came to the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God. Jesus said in John 14:13, Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. And in Acts 4:12 we are reminded there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Scripture assures us of His protection and His willingness to intervene for His children. Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 34:7 tells us The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. We cling to Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And we claim 2 Thessalonians 3:3, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Psalm 121:7-8 also gives us peace, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore.
We lift your son before the throne together.
Father God, we thank You for Your love and faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We bring this precious son before You and ask for Your divine intervention in every area of struggle, pain and injustice that surrounds him. Cover him with Your hand, guard his heart and mind and body, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Establish his steps, deliver him from evil, and surround him with Your angels. Give him wisdom, strength and peace, and give his parent comfort and assurance as they entrust him to You. We ask that You make Your presence known to him, draw him close to You, and work all things for his good and for Your glory. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 says, and to trust that even when injustice remains, Yahweh executes righteous acts and justice for all who are oppressed as Psalm 103:6 says. Keep praying without ceasing, keep speaking truth and love over your son, and rest in the promise of Deuteronomy 31:6 that He will not fail you nor forsake you. We are praying with you for God's perfect will, protection and peace to be evident in your son's life.
