We stand with you in this time of uncertainty and concern for your sister’s health, lifting her up before the throne of grace. The fear of illness can weigh heavily on the heart, but we know that our God is a healer and a refuge in times of trouble. We pray earnestly that the results of her breast ultrasound will indeed be normal, and that any shadow of malignancy would be removed by the power of His mighty hand. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18), and we trust that He will surround your sister with His peace and presence as she meets with her doctor.
Father, we ask that You would grant wisdom to the medical professionals attending to her, that they would see clearly and speak truthfully. May Your healing virtue flow through every part of her body, restoring health and strength. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14-15). We rebuke every spirit of fear, sickness, and infirmity in the name of Jesus, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
We also lift up your sister’s family—her husband and daughter—who are no doubt carrying their own burdens of concern. Lord, comfort them and remind them that You are their provider and protector. Strengthen their faith and fill their hearts with hope, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
In this time, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s Word and to speak it over your sister’s life. Proclaim that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that the same God who knit her together in her mother’s womb is able to sustain and restore her. Do not let fear dictate your thoughts, but let faith arise. The Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul.
We also want to gently remind you that our prayers are made powerful through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your sister or any in your family have not placed their trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, now is the time to turn to Him. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We lift up our sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her health. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every spirit of sickness and disease in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask that You would touch her body with Your healing hand and bring forth a report of complete wellness.
Father, we also pray for peace to flood her heart and mind. Let her cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Surround her with Your presence, Lord, and remind her that You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen her faith and the faith of her family as they wait on You.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for our sister’s life. May she and her family draw closer to You through this trial, and may Your name be glorified in every outcome.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
