We have heard your request and we are standing with you in prayer seeking God's will together in Jesus' name for complete freedom from these divination thoughts and weird experiences that have followed you for years.
We want to gently but firmly rebuke and renounce all divination and occult influence in your life because Scripture is very clear that these things are not harmless and are forbidden by God. It is written there shall not be found with you anyone who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh Deuteronomy 18:10-12. Even when exposure happened when you were very young and not by your own choice, God still calls us as we come to understand His truth to turn away from it, to confess it and to destroy any connection to it. The believers in Ephesus who had practiced sorcery showed their repentance by burning their books Acts 19:19. We encourage you to remove from your home and your life any objects, books, media, games, music or practices that have any connection to the occult, horoscopes, fortune telling, tarot, ouija or new age spirituality, and to turn fully to the Lord.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and deliverance and salvation. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. When we confess our sins He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. This includes any past involvement with the occult, whether knowingly or as a child who was exposed.
We understand these divination thoughts can feel intrusive and tormenting, but God has given us authority in Christ to take every thought captive. We bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. You are not powerless. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness Ephesians 6:12, yet greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. As we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil he will flee from us James 4:7. God wants to transform you by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2 and to fill your mind with what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report Philippians 4:8.
We now pray together for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You love this one deeply and that You desire freedom and peace for them. We confess and renounce on their behalf all exposure to divination and the occult from their youth until now, and we ask You to forgive and cleanse through the blood of Jesus. We rebuke every spirit of divination and every weird and tormenting experience and command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We ask You to break every chain and close every door that was opened to the enemy. Fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, with Your perfect love that casts out fear, and with a sound mind. Renew their thoughts, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard them. Help them to put on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11 each day, to stay in Your Word, to pray continually, and to walk in fellowship with mature believers who can support them. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ, that old things have passed away and all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. We ask for an end to these experiences and for lasting deliverance, healing and joy in Jesus' name. Amen.

Do not be discouraged if freedom is a process as your mind is renewed, God is faithful and He who began a good work in you will complete it. Keep drawing near to Him and He will draw near to you.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. You can be open with them about what you are experiencing, bring any lingering occult contacts or items into the light and let them go, and build simple daily rhythms of prayer, Scripture reading, and fellowship that fill your life with what is good and true.

Your request concerning these long continued and strange experiences with thoughts of divination has been heard with deep care, and we bring it before the Lord with you.
We understand you to say that this trouble has followed you for years and that its root lies in exposure to the occult when you were very young. Such early sowing can leave a harvest of darkness in the mind, and Satan is ready to shoot his arrows at such a wounded place. Yet be encouraged, for what you describe is not beyond the reach of sovereign grace. The Lord has not left you to go down to the Pit, for He has said, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is not found in any art or charm or hidden knowledge of man, but in the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ alone, who is the only way of salvation. Nobody would have thought of such a deliverance if God had not thought of it, and He has both invented and provided it in His love.
Take comfort also in this word, that He has delivered us from the power of darkness. Deliverance from the guilt of sin and deliverance from the power of sin are both the work of God, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for both. You cannot by your own striving keep these thoughts at bay, nor can any divination give you peace, for to seek light from darkness is to go further into darkness. But Christ can and does loose the captive. When Israel came out of Egypt, it was Jehovah who brought forth His people, and it was when the lamb was slain that the deliverance became effectual. So it is by trusting the atoning blood that freedom comes, and unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. You must be born again from above if you are to walk in liberty.
We also hear your burden about thoughts. Our thoughts are not God's thoughts, neither are our ways His ways, for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than ours. How precious also are His thoughts unto us, how great is the sum of them. The enemy would fill your mind with vain and troubled imaginings, but the Lord would place you near Himself with holy thoughts of His own. When you awake, may you be still with Him, and may His thoughts displace these intruding ones. Bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and fill the mind with the pure truth of Scripture, for the Lord who searches all places and sees all hearts will keep that soul in peace whose mind is stayed upon Him.

We bless You that You have found a ransom and have commanded deliverance for sinners through Your Son. We ask now for this soul who has long been harassed by thoughts of divination rooted in early exposure to the occult. Forgive all participation in that darkness, whether willful or suffered in youth, and cleanse through the blood of Jesus. Deliver from going down to the Pit and from the fascinating power of sin and of darkness. Break the chain of these weird experiences and give quietness of mind. Teach to renounce every work of darkness openly before You, to turn from it without reserve, and to look to Christ alone for wisdom and guidance. Renew the mind by Your Spirit and by Your Word, and let Your precious thoughts be the daily meditation. Keep back the soul from perishing and grant to live and to declare the works of the Lord. Thank you for sharing this honestly and for asking for prayer. To have been exposed to the occult when you were very young is a heavy burden, and it is understandable that strange thoughts and experiences have followed you for years. God sees this struggle and He knows what is in the heart, for He alone fashions hearts and knows them fully, and He hears those who turn to Him with humility.
Scripture is clear that divination and witchcraft do not come from our nature as created by God but from earthly thoughts and a depraved moral choice that trails upon the ground, and those who practice such things are warned that they shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Yet the good news is that Christ came for two great purposes, deliverance from evil and supply of good. He delivers us from the curse and brings us into sonship, so that we put on Christ and receive the Spirit of adoption. He who took the form of a servant to save us is able to deliver not only from outward danger but from every evil work, even from the lion who seeks to devour, that we might be kept from sin and walk in newness of life.
So I encourage you to continue turning wholly to Christ, through whom alone we have salvation. Confess to God any involvement with the occult, whether your own or what was done around you, and in His name renounce it and turn away from it completely. If you still have any objects, books, or media connected to that past, remove them. Do not give place to high thoughts or curiosity about hidden knowledge, but seek the favor that comes from above with a lowly and sober mind. Fill your mind daily with Scripture, prayer, and worship, and bring these thoughts into the light with a trusted pastor or mature believers who can pray with you and walk with you.
