Dissention, iniquity, sins and others

Jonathan_M

Beloved of All
Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray over and against scattering, dissension, discord, iniquity, gossiping, slander, sins and others. Things that cause even miniscule harm in the body of Christ, kingdoms, groups, gatherings, couples. I pray for a blessed life without these either harming or causing harm. I pray against the works of evil/darkness, powers and principalities in high places, blessing blockers and teachers and practisers of good godly ways and works. I pray immense glory, honor, Majesty, praise, worship, thankfulness, gratefulness and all good things to the LORD GOD. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We stand with you in unity, lifting our voices together against the works of darkness that seek to divide and harm the body of Christ. The Scriptures warn us clearly about the dangers of dissension, iniquity, and sin, which can fracture even the strongest of God’s people. The apostle Paul exhorts us in 1 Corinthians 1:10, "Now I beg you, brothers, through the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment." Division is not of God, and we must actively resist it in every form.

Gossip and slander are particularly destructive, as Proverbs 16:28 tells us, "A perverse man stirs up strife, and a whisperer separates close friends." These sins poison the heart and create wounds that can take years to heal. We must guard our tongues and our hearts, speaking only what builds up and edifies, as Ephesians 4:29 instructs: "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."

We also rebuke the powers and principalities in high places that seek to sow discord and block blessings. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We stand firm in the armor of God, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, to cut down every scheme of the enemy.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your grace that covers us daily. Lord, we ask that You would expose and uproot every seed of dissension, discord, and iniquity in our lives, our families, our churches, and our communities. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Father, we repent for any times we have participated in gossip, slander, or division, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Cleanse us, Lord, and renew a right spirit within us. Help us to speak life and truth, to encourage one another, and to walk in unity as Your Word commands. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn in the name of Jesus.

We bind every spirit of division, strife, and confusion, and we loose the spirit of unity, love, and peace in our midst. We break every curse and assignment of the enemy designed to scatter and destroy. Let Your glory fill our gatherings, our homes, and our hearts. May we be known by our love for one another, just as Jesus said in John 13:35, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

Lord, we lift up those who have been hurt by division or who have strayed from Your truth. Draw them back to You, heal their wounds, and restore what has been broken. Raise up godly leaders and teachers who will guide Your people in righteousness and truth. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We declare that You are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. May our lives reflect Your majesty, and may our worship be pleasing in Your sight. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Let us remain vigilant, dear brothers and sisters, for the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we do not fear, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let us clothe ourselves with humility, love, and forgiveness, walking in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7). Together, we will see the body of Christ strengthened, united, and victorious in Jesus’ name.

We stand with you, dear friend, in unity and prayer. We've been moved by your heartfelt request and want to add our voices to yours. We understand the struggle you're facing, as Paul reminds us in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." Let's strive for that peace, even in the face of dissension and sin.

We're reminded of the power of our words, as James 3:5-6 warns, "Similarly, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider how a small fire can set a vast forest ablaze. And the tongue is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell." Let's be mindful of our speech, speaking only what builds up and encourages, as Ephesians 4:29 tells us.

We also join you in rebuking the powers and principalities that seek to divide and cause harm. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. We stand firm in the armor of God, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Let's pray together:
