Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus and we thank you for coming boldly through Him, for Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6

We are deeply encouraged by your prayer and by the Christlike attitude you have shown toward those who have wronged you. To thank God for fighting for you and blessing you with heavenly gifts even in hardship, and to pray with patience and kindness for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives who have acted dishonestly toward you, reflects the heart of our Lord who calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us.

You are right that lies are serious before God. Scripture is very clear that dishonesty is not a small matter. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 12:22 And again we are warned that a false witness will not be unpunished, and he who utters lies shall not escape. Proverbs 19:5 and You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16 We are also commanded Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25 and Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. Colossians 3:9 When people persist in dishonesty they must harden their conscience and break down the resistance God placed within them, and that path always leads to destruction unless there is repentance.

We also join you in clinging to the precious truth that you proclaimed, that it was the blood shed on the Cross that makes us right with God, and that the truth will set us free. Jesus said You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32 Only the truth of Christ can free both the deceived and the deceiver, and we pray that freedom over this entire situation.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace with thanksgiving for Your presence in our lives, for the way You fight for us, and for the heavenly gifts and mercy You pour out even when we face injustice. Thank You for the sacrifice of the Cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners, and for making a way for us to be forgiven and reconciled to You. Lord, You see the lies and the serious wrongs that have been committed in this landlord matter. You see every document, every word spoken by the lawyers and representatives, and nothing is hidden from Your eyes. We ask that You would convict every heart involved of the sin of dishonesty and build up in them a holy resistance to lying. Open their eyes to see that lying brings consequences not only in this life but before Your judgment, and grant them repentance that they may turn and practice honesty. Let Your truth prevail in every legal proceeding and let justice be done according to Your righteousness, tempered with mercy. For our brother or sister who has been wronged, we ask that You guard their heart from bitterness, strengthen them to continue walking in patience, kindness and integrity, and vindicate them in Your perfect timing and way. Help them to continue to surrender their will and their whole life to You, trusting that You will set all things right. We ask that Your truth would set everyone involved free from the bondage of deceit and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in truth and to trust the Lord to be your defender. He is faithful to see, to judge justly, and to repay with both justice and mercy. Continue to walk in honesty even when others do not, for that is what pleases Him and preserves your witness. Do not grow weary in doing good and do not seek revenge in your own heart, for it is written Vengeance is mine, says the Lord. We will keep standing with you in prayer that the Lord would cause truth to triumph and that all involved would come to love and obey the truth, which is Christ Himself.

Facing dishonesty from a landlord's team and legal representatives when housing and legal matters are on the line is wearying, and it can be hard to hold both a desire for truth and a desire to respond with patience. We noticed you are doing that, you named the harm honestly while also asking God to work in their hearts toward honesty. That is a difficult and faithful posture, and God sees it.

It makes sense that this has felt heavy for a while. When truth matters so much, the waiting and the uncertainty can wear you down. Continuing to bring the specific concerns to God as you have, rather than carrying them alone, is a steady way to guard your own peace while still seeking what is right.

One small step that often helps in these kinds of disputes is to keep a simple, dated record of conversations, agreements, and documents in one place, and if you haven't already, to have a trusted, wise advisor review them with you so you are not navigating the legal details by yourself. We are praying with you for clear wisdom for each next decision.

Father, we lift this situation to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your protection and provision for the one praying, for clarity and honesty to prevail in every interaction, and for strength to continue walking in patience and kindness. Lead them step by step and give them peace as they trust You with the outcome. Amen.

We join you before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, who is Himself the way, the truth and the life, and we thank God with you for His presence, for His heavenly gifts, and above all for the cross where His precious blood was shed for sinners.

Your prayer is right and timely, for the Lord delights in truth in the inward parts and lying lips are an abomination to Him. Holy Scripture is the standard of the truth of God, and as we have often said, we must buy the truth and sell it not. By this we mean not only doctrinal truth to be believed, but experimental truth within the heart and practical truth in the life, that our actions be consistent and straightforward before God and man. To part with truth for any gain is to make a wretched bargain, for you need the truth and none shall be received at last without it in his right hand. It is a good sign of grace when the soul hates dishonesty and longs to see honesty prevail, and when it can pray even for those who have done it wrong.

We commend your spirit of patience and kindness toward the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives. This is to overcome evil with good, and it is Christlike. We will pray with you that the Lord who sees all things will build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty, that He will open their eyes to know that truth shall make them free, and that they may be kept from the bitter consequences which follow upon lying. May the God of truth write His law upon their hearts and incline them to deal justly and to speak truly.

And for you, be encouraged to cast your burden upon the Lord and to trust Him in this storm. Genuine faith trusts God when the way is hard, and submission to His will takes away the fear of man. Continue to walk in uprightness, to speak the truth in love, and to surrender your will daily to Him who has loved you and given Himself for you. He will meet you on the ground of truth, through the atoning blood, and He will not forsake those who seek to honor Him.

We pray that the Lord will manifest His righteousness in this matter, that truth will be brought to light, that justice will be done, and that all concerned may come to know more of Him who is very Truth itself. May He keep you in peace, establish your steps, and cause this trial to work for your good and for His glory.

Your prayer has been received with thanksgiving, and we join you in lifting it before the Father in the name of Jesus, who is the way, the truth and the life. It is right that you begin with gratitude for His presence, for His heavenly gifts, and above all for the Cross where His blood was shed for sinners, for without that sacrifice there is no hope of forgiveness or of walking in truth.

You have spoken truly when you say that lies are serious. Scripture teaches us that dishonesty is not a small fault but a great wretchedness, and when it is added to the love of gain it brings deep harm both in this life and before the judgment, with loss of the kingdom. To live by dishonesty is to strip oneself of honor and to lie exposed to shame, while even what is gained honestly becomes a heavy charge if it is not used with mercy. How much more serious then when gain is sought through falsehood, through oaths and perjuries and covetous dealing.

We give thanks that in the midst of hardships you have been given grace to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, to lawyers and legal representatives, even as you have suffered. This is the godliness that is shown not only in doctrine but in life, and it is pleasing to God when those who are wronged do not return evil but remain steadfast in love.

We pray with you that God will build up in those men and women a resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. Truth, when it finds an honest soul, easily masters it and enlightens it as the sun enlightens clear eyes, but when the soul lacks candor it remains dark, and this is not the weakness of truth but the infirmity of the soul. So we ask the Lord to open their eyes, to soften what is hardened, and to grant them clear sight to see that truth sets free while lying brings consequences that are not easily escaped. May He lead them to turn from falsehood, to speak what is true, and to practice honesty in all their dealings.

We also pray for you, that you may continue to walk in quiet faith, in all godliness and honesty, surrendering your will to Him daily and trusting His power to fight for you. He sees what is done in secret and He will uphold what is right in His time.

Heavenly Father, grant to all involved a love for truth, a hatred of what is false, and hearts that seek to do what is honest before You and before men. Strengthen Your servants who pray, keep them in patience and kindness, and let Your truth reign in every heart. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
