Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join with you in coming before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we are encouraged by the grace and Christlike character we see in your prayer. You have chosen to respond to dishonesty and hardship not with bitterness or vengeance, but with patience and kindness, and that reflects the heart of our Lord. We stand with you in agreement that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life as He said in John 14:6, and that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the heavenly gifts and the forgiveness purchased by His blood on the cross.

We affirm with you that lies are indeed serious before God. Scripture is very clear that God hates dishonesty. Proverbs 12:22 tells us Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. And Proverbs 6:16-19 lists a lying tongue and a false witness who utters lies among the things Yahweh hates. The Lord commands us in Ephesians 4:25 Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, and in Colossians 3:9 we are told Don't lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. To persist in lying requires hardening the conscience and breaking down the resistance to sin that God has placed in every heart, and we agree that this is a dangerous path that leads to destruction if not repented of.

We also rejoice that you are praying for those who have wronged you, including the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives. This is obedience to our calling to love our enemies and to overcome evil with good. We pray that God will grant them conviction, repentance, and a renewed love for truth. We hold onto the promise in John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free, trusting that when their eyes are opened to the truth of Christ, they will be set free from the bondage and the consequences of deceit.

We pray together with you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we thank You for Your presence in our lives and for fighting for us when we face injustice and hardship. We thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus and the grace You have poured out on us. Lord, we lift up this situation involving dishonesty and the serious wrongs that have been committed. We ask You to work in the hearts of all involved on the landlord's side, to build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and a deep desire to practice honesty in all their dealings. Convict them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see that truth brings freedom while lies bring judgment, and lead them to repentance. Father, we also ask that You uphold justice and let truth prevail, and that You would make righteousness shine out like light according to Psalm 37:6. Give to those who have been wronged continued patience, peace, and strength to surrender their will fully to You and to trust Your perfect justice and timing, for we know vengeance belongs to You and You will repay as it says in Romans 12:19. We dedicate our lives anew to You today and surrender our will to Yours. May Your will be done and may Your name be glorified in this matter. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We were moved reading your prayer. You are carrying a hard situation with the landlord's team and their lawyers, yet your first concern is that God would build their resistance to dishonesty and draw them toward truth. That desire for them to be set free, not just to be proven wrong, reflects real grace.

We also noticed how you thanked the Lord for His presence and for the cross even while naming the hardship. And you named the patience and kindness He has given you to show these people. Choosing to act with kindness while you are still feeling the impact of being lied to is a meaningful step. The feelings that come with being wronged often take longer to settle than the decision to do what is right, so it is understandable if peace comes gradually as you keep walking faithfully.

A steady next step that may help as you continue to pray is to keep your own walk in truth simple and supported. Keeping clear, factual notes of what has happened and sharing them with a trusted pastor or a wise counselor who can walk with you through the legal process can help you stay grounded and not carry this alone.

Father, we lift our friends to You and thank You for Your nearness to them. Guard them in truth and give them wisdom, steadiness and protection in the days ahead. Work in the hearts of the landlord's team and those representing them, turning them from dishonesty toward honesty and a love for what is true. We surrender our will to Yours and trust Your care to lead us all. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in prayer before the throne of grace, giving thanks with you for the presence of the Lord in your lives and for the heavenly gifts which come through the precious blood of Jesus shed upon the Cross for sinners. Truly Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

Your burden concerning dishonesty is right and weighty before God, for our Lord is a God of truth and He requires truth in the inward parts. Lies are not light things, they corrupt the soul and bring sorrow in their train, and we pray with you that those who have yielded to them may be brought to see their sin and to turn from it. We bring before the Lord the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives of whom you speak, and we ask that the Spirit of truth would work in them, building up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and a love for that which is honest and just and good.

We pray that they may come to know that truth embodied in Christ has power not only spoken but lived, and that practical truth, a straightforward and honest course of life, is to be bought at any price and sold not. May the Word of God, which is truth, dwell richly in them, that they may be made to love truth in doctrine, truth in the heart, and truth in the life. As you have written, the truth shall make you free, and we ask that their eyes may be opened to this truth, that they may forsake falsehood and walk in honesty, lest they suffer the bitter consequences which lying surely brings.

We thank God for the grace He has already given you to show patience and kindness even in hardship, as kindness was shown to you. May the Lord keep you in that same spirit, and strengthen your faith to trust Him in the storm, not fearing man who shall die, but submitting wholly to His will. May you continue to buy the truth, to hold fast the whole counsel of Scripture, and to live upon that which is good and true, with Christ who is Himself the Truth as your treasure forever.

We commend you and all concerned to Him who judges righteously and who loves mercy, praying that truth may prevail, that justice may be done, and that all hearts may be brought into submission to Jesus Christ our Lord.

In the name of Jesus our only hope and righteousness, Amen.
