Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join with you in this prayer and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord so faithfully. We agree with you that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life as He said in John 14:6, and that truth is not a small matter before God. Lies are not just mistakes, they are sin that damages justice and harms neighbors, and God calls His people to walk in truth.

The Word is clear about how seriously God views dishonesty. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Ephesians 4:25 tells us Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, and Colossians 3:9 exhorts us Don't lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. We also remember Exodus 20:16 You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor, and Proverbs 19:5 A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall not go free. At the same time we cling to the promise you prayed, John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Truth does set free, both those who have been wronged and even those who have been trapped in deceit, if they will turn to it.

We admire the grace you have shown in choosing patience and kindness toward the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives even while facing hardships. That reflects the love of Christ, and we pray that your testimony of kindness would convict hearts. Yet showing kindness does not mean we overlook sin, and you are right to ask God to build up their resistance to dishonesty. When a person practices deceit they must harden their conscience step by step, but God is able to soften and awaken a conscience again.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You together. We thank You for Your presence in our lives, for fighting for us, for blessing us with heavenly gifts, and for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners. Lord, You see all that has been hidden and all that has been spoken falsely. We lift up the landlord's team, their lawyers and legal representatives before You. We ask that You open their eyes to the truth that is in Christ, convict them of any falsehood, and build in them a holy resistance to dishonesty. Help them to practice honesty, to speak truth even when it is costly, and to turn from lies so they will not suffer the consequences of them. Let truth prevail in every document, every testimony, and every proceeding. For our dear fellow believer who has been burdened by this, we ask for Your peace that surpasses understanding, for strength to continue walking in integrity, for Your justice to be done on earth as it is in heaven, and for Your will to be surrendered to in all things. We dedicate our lives to You anew and we trust You to act according to Your perfect righteousness and mercy. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in truth while entrusting justice to the Lord, for Romans 12:19 reminds us that vengeance belongs to the Lord and He will repay. Keep praying, keep speaking truth in love, and keep showing the patience you have been shown, knowing that the Lord sees, He hears, and He is faithful to bring what is done in darkness into the light.

We were struck by the gracious spirit in your prayer. Even while you have faced hardships with the landlord's team and legal representatives, you are thanking God and asking Him to work in their hearts toward honesty, not just asking for vindication for yourselves. That is not easy to do.

Being on the receiving end of dishonesty, especially when it touches legal matters and your home, can be wearying and disorienting. We appreciate that you named both the seriousness of lies and your desire to keep responding with patience and kindness. Choosing to act with kindness is a real decision you can make before God, even while the hurt and frustration take longer to settle. Both are part of walking through this honestly, and it is understandable if peace comes gradually.

As you continue to surrender this to the Lord, we encourage you to keep anchoring in what you can control, continuing to speak and act truthfully, keeping clear and calm records of what has happened, and leaning on trusted, wise counsel for the legal process. It also helps to stay connected with people who know you and can support you so you do not carry this alone.

Father, we bring this situation before You in Jesus name. We ask for Your truth to be clear and for wisdom for all involved. Build up a love for honesty in each heart, guard our friends from bitterness, and give them steady peace and guidance as they trust You day by day. Amen.

Your prayer concerning truth and dishonesty is heard with thankfulness to God, for it breathes the spirit of Christ who is Himself the way, the truth and the life.

It is right that you have begun with the Cross, for there alone is the ground upon which a sinner may stand before a God of truth. His Word is truth, and He is abundant in goodness and truth, a God who cannot lie. Sooner shall heaven and earth pass away than one promise of His shall fall to the ground. To buy the truth, as Scripture saith, is to buy doctrinal truth from the Holy Scriptures, experimental truth within the heart, and practical truth in the life, that our actions be consistent and straightforward. Christ does not merely speak the truth, He is the truth, transparent in word and in deed, and where He reigns He rules the understanding by His doctrine and the affections by His person.

You have done well to call lies what they are, for they are serious before the Lord. The truth is not in the man who says he has no sin, and he who utters falsehood proves that the light of truth is not in him. Yet the promise stands, he that confesseth his sin shall find mercy. When the Holy Spirit convinces the heart, a man smites upon his breast and owns the truth concerning himself, and God meets him on that ground through the atoning blood. Justice itself is satisfied in Christ, for He bore what we ought to have suffered, and God can now be just and the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus.

We join you in thanking God for the grace given to you to show patience and kindness to those who have dealt dishonestly with you, even to the landlord's team and to lawyers and legal representatives. This is the power of decision for Christ, to walk in truth when others walk in falsehood. Remember that this truth ought to take from you all fear of man. Why should the believer fear a man that shall die. While this truth banishes fear, it strengthens faith and ensures submission to the will of God, trusting Him in the storm as well as in the calm.

We pray with you that the Lord will build up in those who have practiced deceit a holy resistance to dishonesty. May He open their eyes to see that the truth shall make them free, and that no lie can stand before His holy justice. May He grant them to love honesty, to hate every false way, and to come to confession and repentance, that they may find mercy through Him who shed His blood for sinners. We ask that you may be kept in sincerity, holding fast all the truth, buying it at any price and holding it now, with Christ your treasure forever.

May the Spirit of God keep you upon the ground of truth, confessing your own need and resting wholly upon Christ who died for sinners, and may the Lord cause truth in doctrine, truth in the heart, and truth in the life to abound in you, until you see Him who is the King of Truth face to face.

We commend you and those who have wronged you to the faithful God whose mercy endureth forever, praying in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank you for sharing this prayer and for your desire to honor Christ who is the way, the truth and the life. Your request is right and good, for God loves truth and calls His people to walk in it, and you have done well to bring this burden before Him and to ask not for revenge but for honesty to prevail.

Lies are indeed serious. Scripture warns us that dishonesty does not stay small, it grows and hardens the heart and brings great harm to those who practice it and to those who suffer from it. To get gain or advantage by dishonesty is wretched, and it adds to itself the loss of peace with God. That is why your prayer that God would build up a resistance to dishonesty in the hearts of the landlord's team, the lawyers and representatives is a faithful prayer. We join you in it.

We also give thanks with you for the grace you have shown in hardship, that you have answered unkindness with patience and kindness. This is the honest soul that truth can lay hold of and enlighten. As the sun easily enlightens clear eyes, so truth easily masters a willing heart. Continue in that honesty yourselves, speaking truth in love and committing your cause to the Lord who judges justly.

We pray with you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus whose blood was shed for sinners, we thank You for Your presence and for the heavenly gifts You give to Your children. You see all that has been done in this dispute and You know every word spoken in truth or in falsehood. We ask You to work in the hearts of all involved in this legal matter, to convict where there has been lying and to turn hearts toward honesty. Open their eyes to know that truth sets us free, and help them to practice honesty and to turn from what is false. Guard our brother and sister who prayed, keep them in Your peace, provide for their needs, and let Your will be done in this situation. We surrender all to You and ask for justice tempered with mercy, and for all to come to repentance and faith in Christ alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Keep trusting the Lord, remain steadfast in truth, and continue to pray that His truth would prevail and bring freedom to every heart involved.

Your prayer reflects a heart that wants to honor what God honors. He is a God of truth, and His Word makes clear that truth is not temporary. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His truth remains forever. Jesus said He Himself is the way, the truth and the life, and that when we know the truth, the truth will make us free.

Thank you for giving thanks even in hardship, and for the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team and to the lawyers and representatives involved. That is not easy when you have been wronged, but it reflects the gospel you have received, that God loves and forgives sinners through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross. To continue to walk in truth and love while entrusting justice to God is pleasing to Him. One of the greatest joys for those who love God is to see His people walking in truth, and your desire to do so is itself a testimony.

Scripture is honest about dishonesty. It calls us to renounce hidden things of dishonesty and not to walk in craftiness or handle matters deceitfully, but to commend ourselves to every conscience in the sight of God by openly living out the truth. The plain truth, lived plainly, is what God blesses. Trying to present a false picture does not succeed before Him, because He knows the heart fully. We cannot hide from Him, and His commandments are not given to burden us but to lead us into life.

You are right that lies are serious, and that to continue in lying a person must quiet the conscience that God gave to resist it. That resistance can be rebuilt only by God. The Spirit is truth and bears witness to truth in the heart, and there are three that bear witness on earth, the Spirit, the water and the blood, and they agree. When a mind is blinded and truth is distorted, it is often because the enemy is deceiving and holding that person. That is why prayer matters. We can ask God to bind that blinding influence, to open eyes, to awaken the conscience, and to give a new desire for honesty.

It is also true that truth is not always welcomed. Many would rather be flattered than corrected, and telling the truth can bring opposition rather than approval. Our aim is not to please people but to please God, trusting Him with the outcome. At the same time, empty lies, what Scripture calls lying vanities, only cause those who cling to them to forsake the mercy that God wants to give.

So we can pray together for these people, not with a desire for revenge, but with a desire for their freedom. We ask that God would restore in them a strong resistance to dishonesty, that He would teach them to practice honesty in every statement and document and legal dealing, and that He would open their eyes to see that truth brings freedom while lies bring consequences. God is present as a witness in every legal transaction, and He is the righteous judge who sees all that is done in secret and in public. We can ask Him to bring what is hidden into the light, to guide the legal process toward what is just, and above all to draw each person involved to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, in whom alone there is forgiveness of sins.

We also pray for you, that God would keep you walking in truth, that His grace, mercy and peace would be with you in truth and love, and that as you have surrendered your life and will to Him, He would guard your heart from bitterness and strengthen you to continue in honesty and kindness.

Father, we thank You that You are true and that Your Spirit is truth. You see every heart and every motive. We ask You to work in the hearts of this landlord's team and these lawyers and representatives. Awaken their consciences, remove the blindness that distorts truth, and build in them a firm resistance to dishonesty. Teach them to love and practice honesty, and lead them to see that Your truth sets free. Bring justice where there has been wrong, and bring conviction that leads to repentance through Jesus Christ. And sustain those who have been wronged, that they may continue to walk in truth, to show Your kindness, and to rest in Your care. We surrender all of this to Your will, in the name of Jesus, amen.
