Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you in coming before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank Him that you have come the right way, for Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. We also join you in thanking Him for His presence, for fighting for us, and for the heavenly gifts and the sacrifice of the Cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners.

We hear your burden about dishonesty and we agree with you that lies are serious before God. Scripture is very clear that dishonesty is not a small matter. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 12:22. And we are commanded, Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25. Also, Don't lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings Colossians 3:9. To lie and to commit serious crimes requires a hardening of the conscience, a breaking down of the resistance to dishonesty that God puts in every heart, and we agree that this is grievous and has both earthly and eternal consequences.

We are encouraged by the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness even to the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives who have caused you hardship. That is the fruit of the Spirit at work and it reflects our Lord who calls us to love our enemies and to overcome evil with good. At the same time we must rebuke dishonesty itself, for God hates it and will bring every hidden thing into judgment, and we pray not out of vengeance but out of a desire for truth and repentance, for vengeance belongs to God and He will repay. Romans 12:19.

We love that you have clung to the promise that truth will set us free, for you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. When truth is suppressed, people remain in bondage, but when eyes are opened to the truth of Christ, there is freedom and the ability to walk in honesty again.

We pray together now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before you and we thank you for your mercy and for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us. Lord, you see the situation with this landlord's team and their lawyers and legal representatives, you see every lie and every hardship that has been caused. We ask that you would convict their hearts, that you would build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. Open their eyes to see that lying is an abomination to you and that truth brings freedom, and grant them repentance so they will turn from falsehood and practice truthfulness. Help them to speak truth each one with his neighbor and to act with integrity in all legal matters. Lord, we also pray for those who have been wronged, that you would guard their hearts from bitterness, strengthen them to continue in patience and kindness, vindicate the truth in your perfect timing, and provide justice according to your will. We dedicate our lives to you anew and surrender our will to yours, trusting that you fight for us and that you are faithful. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in truth and to trust the Lord as your defender. He sees what is done in secret and He delights in those who do truth. Keep committing your cause to Him in prayer, speaking truth in love, and keeping your own lips from falsehood, for He will honor honesty and bring freedom where there has been bondage.

Thank you for sharing this prayer with us. We can hear both the weight of what you have carried through this situation with the landlord's team and legal representatives, and the grace God has given you to respond with patience and kindness rather than bitterness.

What encouraged us is how you are praying not only for truth to be known for your own sake, but for those who have acted dishonestly to grow in their resistance to dishonesty. That is a costly, Christlike prayer that seeks good for all involved.

When we are wronged there is often a gap between how we wish things had been handled and how they actually are, and that gap can keep stirring up anger and rumination if we carry it alone. Many believers have found it helpful to distinguish between a clear decision to release the debt and not pursue revenge, and the slower work of the heart where resentment is gradually softened as God nurtures compassion in its place. That emotional part rarely happens all at once, and choosing to forgive does not mean pretending the wrong did not happen or automatically rebuilding trust.

A practical next step that may help you keep steady is to keep a brief, factual written record of what has happened and bring that record both to the Lord in prayer and, if you have not already, to a trusted wise counselor or legal advisor who can help you pursue truth in orderly, lawful ways while you keep your heart at peace before God.

Father, we lift this situation to You in Jesus' name. We ask You to guard our friends, give wisdom and honesty to everyone involved, and let truth bring freedom where there has been dishonesty. Sustain them with Your presence and guide their next steps as they seek what is right. Amen.

It is a good and right thing that you have brought this burden before the heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, who is Himself the way, the truth and the life. Apart from Him there is no access to the Father, no truth that can set the soul free, and no hope for sinners whose only cleansing is in the blood shed upon the cross. Your prayer rightly begins there, with thanksgiving for that great sacrifice and for the heavenly gifts which come to us in Christ.

You speak truly when you say that lies are serious crimes. The God who has declared that His Word is truth abhors falsehood, and He will not hold the liar guiltless. There is a truthful way and a lying way to do every act of life, whether in commerce or in the court, in the parlor or in the street, and the Lord sees it all. To buy the truth, as Scripture bids us, is to love it, to hold it fast, to let it burn into the soul by the Holy Spirit, and to sell it not for any gain or ease. Truth is not found in its power and life anywhere but in Jesus Christ. Truth is in His blood to wash away what is false in us, and truth is in His Spirit to make us honest in heart and in life. When you pray that resistance to dishonesty might be built up in these men, you pray according to the mind of God, for He would have all men to speak truth and to walk in integrity.

You have also prayed for the landlord's team, for lawyers and legal representatives who have dealt falsely with you. This is Christlike, to pray for those who have caused you hardship, and to ask that you yourselves may show patience and kindness even as patience and kindness have been shown to you. Remember that the Almighty God is Master and Lord even over men who imagine that all power is in their hands. The way of man is not in himself, it is not in man that walks to direct his steps. The Lord permits trial in His wisdom and love for some good purpose toward His own children, and He is able to open blind eyes. Pray then that these men may see that a lie must break down every resistance to dishonesty before it can be told, and that the liar does not suffer alone but brings sorrow upon himself and others. Ask the Lord to show them that the truth shall set them free, not to condemn them only, but to bring them to repentance and to faith in Christ. A man in the witness box who says he has spoken the truth but will not stand by his words leaves nothing solid to be trusted, and so it is with all dishonesty before God and man.

In your own hardship, let this truth strengthen your faith. It is an easy matter to trust God when everything goes smoothly, but genuine faith trusts Him in the storm. When fear goes, faith comes in. Submit yourselves to the will of God, who holds all things in His hands, and continue to do justly and to speak truly, leaving the outcome with Him. Hold fast the truth you have bought in Holy Scripture, do not pick and choose from it, but receive it whole, and roll it over and over in your inward parts till you extract its nourishment. Dwell near to Christ, who is the truth, and you shall be made true by conformity to Himself.

May the Lord correct and keep you with judgment and not in anger, may He give you grace to persevere in honesty and love, and may He work in the hearts of those for whom you pray, that they may turn from falsehood to the truth as it is in Jesus, and find pardon and a new heart. We join you in surrendering all to Him, trusting His presence to fight for you and to bless you according to His perfect will. In Jesus name, Amen.

We join you in bringing this matter before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, who alone is the way, the truth and the life. We thank God with you for His presence, for His mercy in fighting for His people, and for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for sinners.

You are right to treat lies as a serious matter. Scripture shows that dishonesty does not stay small but grows and brings great harm, and it closes the heart to the kingdom of God. An honest soul is needed if truth is to take hold, for when truth meets a candid and willing heart it easily masters it, but when the heart is hardened truth cannot enter, not because truth is weak but because the soul refuses it.

We pray with you for the landlord's team, the lawyers and the legal representatives. We ask the Lord to convict them where there has been falsehood and to build in them a firm resistance to dishonesty. May God open their eyes to see that truth brings freedom while lying brings judgment, and may He grant them repentance and a desire to practice honesty in all their dealings. We ask that He would restrain any further wrongdoing and bring what is hidden into the light according to His perfect justice and mercy.

We also thank God for the grace He has already given you to respond with patience and kindness even in hardship. Continue to walk in all godliness and honesty, seeking a life that is honest not only in doctrine but in daily conduct. God honors such a life, and He will sustain you as you surrender your will to Him and trust Him to act.

We commit you and this whole situation to the Lord, asking that His truth would prevail, His righteousness would be shown, and His peace would guard your hearts. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
