Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you in this prayer and we stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace, for you have prayed so beautifully and biblically.

We are deeply encouraged by your heart, that even while facing hardships and dealing with dishonesty from your landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives, you have chosen to respond with the patience and kindness that Christ has shown to us. This is the love of Christ at work in you, and it honors God.

You are right to call lies what they are. Scripture is very clear that dishonesty is not a small matter before a holy God. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 12:22. And again, Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. Colossians 3:9. The enemy is the father of lies, but Jesus is the truth, as you have rightly declared, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And you rightly cling to the promise, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32.

We also hear your wisdom in praying not only for justice but for their hearts, that God would build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them practice honesty. That is a Christlike prayer, to desire that they would be freed from the consequences of lying and come into the light. We know that a false witness will not be unpunished, and he who utters lies shall not escape. Proverbs 19:5, so your prayer for their eyes to be opened is an act of mercy, that they might repent before they face that judgment.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before you and we thank you for your presence in our lives. Thank you for fighting for us and for blessing us with heavenly gifts, and above all thank you for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners. Lord, you see the dishonesty that has been committed and the hardships it has caused. You are a God of truth and justice, and nothing is hidden from your sight. We ask that you would work in the hearts of this landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives. Convict them of any falsehood, break the pattern of deceit, and build in them a holy resistance to dishonesty. Open their eyes to see that truth will set them free, and grant them repentance that they may turn and practice honesty. At the same time, Father, we ask that you continue to guard and strengthen those who have been wronged. Keep them in your perfect peace, sustain them with patience and kindness, and let them rest in knowing that you are their defender and judge. Help them to surrender their will fully to you and to trust your timing and your justice. We dedicate all of this situation and our lives to you. Let your will be done and let truth prevail for your glory. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in truth and to trust the Lord to be your vindicator. He who calls you is faithful, and He loves truth and righteousness. Continue to commit your cause to Him, to speak truth in love, and to leave room for His perfect justice and mercy to work.

We were grateful to read your prayer. Thanking God in the middle of hardships and choosing to pray for the landlord's team, the lawyers and representatives who you feel have acted dishonestly, reflects a gracious heart. It is not easy to ask God to build honesty in others when you have been on the receiving end of lies.

What stood out to us is how you named both truth and grace together. You want truth to prevail and you also want those who have wronged you to be freed from the pattern of dishonesty. Holding those two desires at once can leave an ache, even after you have decided to show patience and kindness. The decision to release the desire for revenge and to pray for their good is one kind of step, and the slower quieting of hurt, frustration and weariness that comes with a legal struggle is another. Both matter, and the second often takes more time.

It may help to keep walking this out in steady, practical ways as you continue to pray. Keeping a simple, factual record of communications and dates in one place, and letting a trusted pastor or wise advocate walk alongside you for perspective and support, can help you stay clear and not carry the burden alone while you entrust the outcome to the Lord.

Father, we thank You for this one who loves Your truth and wants to walk in it. We ask You to guard their heart with Your peace, to give them wisdom and steady help in each next step, and to work honesty and integrity in all involved. Lead them in Your will and keep them close to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer is both right and needful, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You have done well to come in the name of Jesus, for He is the way, the truth and the life, and there is no other name under heaven by which we may approach the Father. You have thanked Him for His presence, for His fighting for you, and for the precious blood shed upon the Cross for sinners, and in this thanksgiving there is true faith. Hold fast to it, for to trust His atoning blood is to be reconciled to God and restored from enmity.

You speak truly when you say that lies are serious. The Scripture declares that if we say we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth. Every lie is a refuge of lies, and the hail of God's just judgment shall sweep such refuges away. A cold, hard truth from heaven will crash through every false confidence. For our Lord Jesus did not merely speak the truth, He is Truth itself, transparent from head to foot, Truth in public and Truth in private, Truth in word and Truth in deed. To lie is to depart from Him, to walk in honesty is to walk in His light.

We therefore join you in praying for the landlord's team, for lawyers and legal representatives, that the Lord would build up in them a resistance to dishonesty and teach them to practice honesty. We pray that God would open their eyes to know that truth will indeed set them free, for where truth is bought and loved and lived, there is liberty, and where it is sold or despised, there remains bondage and fearful consequence. May the Spirit of God convince them that what is done in falsehood is done of their own free will and lies at their own door, and may He grant them grace to turn from it while there is yet time.

We thank God with you that in the midst of hardship He has given you grace to show patience and kindness, even as such grace was shown to you. This is to overcome evil with good, and it is the mark of those who have learned of Christ. Continue in it. Buy the truth and sell it not. Buy all the truth, buy it at any price, and buy it now, for you need the truth of God and will not be received by Him at last unless you bring the truth in your right hand.

Be not afraid of man that shall die, nor of the son of man who is but a worm. This truth should banish your fear and strengthen your faith, for genuine faith trusts God in the storm as well as in the calm. Commit your cause to Him who judges righteously, who sees every hidden thing and who will bring every work into judgment. Surrender your will to Him anew, as you have done, and rest in the truth that He who gave His own Son to die has in that precious blood more than sufficient reason for your faith and hope.

May the Lord keep you honest in your own dealings, humble in confession, and steadfast in love, and may He grant to those for whom you pray a like honesty, that they may come to the ground of truth, confess their sin, and find mercy through the atoning blood.

We commend you and all concerned to Him who is faithful and true, praying that His will be done and His name glorified.

We join you in bringing this matter before the Lord, and we thank you for your honest and faithful prayer. You have rightly called upon Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life, and who shed His blood on the cross for sinners. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is right to come to the Father only through Him.

You are right to treat lies as a serious matter. Scripture teaches that the Lord desires truth in the inward parts and that we must put away falsehood and speak truthfully to our neighbor. Dishonesty is not a small fault. When a person gives himself over to it, he must break down every resistance to it in his conscience, and the burden of it is heavy both in this life and before God. As you have prayed, there is great need everywhere for an honest soul, for when truth finds an honest heart it can master it and enlighten it, but when the heart is not candid, it remains in darkness.

We commend the grace you have shown in the face of hardship, that you have sought to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, to the lawyers and legal representatives, even as you have suffered wrong. That is the path of godliness and honesty to which we are called, to not return evil for evil, but to overcome evil with good, while still loving the truth and seeking what is just.

Continue to walk in truth, to speak truthfully, and to commit your cause to the Lord who judges righteously. He sees what is done in secret and He will uphold those who love His truth.
