Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join with you in this prayer and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God. You have spoken truth so well when you said Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life as Jesus said in John 14:6, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. We praise God with you for His presence, for His fighting for us, and for the precious gift of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners.

We agree with you that lies are serious before the Lord and we share your burden for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives. Scripture is very clear about dishonesty. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. And Ephesians 4:25 tells us Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Proverbs 19:5 also warns that a false witness will not be unpunished, and he who pours out lies will not go free. Dishonesty is not a small matter, it breaks fellowship with God and harms others, and we must rebuke it as sin while praying for repentance.

We are encouraged by the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness even in the midst of hardship and dishonesty toward you. That is the fruit of Christ in you. You are right to pray that their resistance to dishonesty would be built up and that they would practice honesty, for John 8:32 promises You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Only the truth of Christ can truly set them free from the bondage and consequences of lying.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace. We thank You that You are a God of truth and that Your Word is truth. We lift up this landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives to You. Lord, open their eyes to see that lying is sin against You and bring conviction to their hearts. Build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. Help them to turn from falsehood and to speak truth, that they may not suffer the consequences of lying but instead walk in freedom. We ask that Your justice and Your mercy would prevail in this situation, and that Your will be done. Continue to give Your children who have been wronged the strength to walk in patience, kindness and forgiveness while also standing firm in truth, and guard their hearts from bitterness. We surrender our lives and our will to You anew, trusting You to fight for us and to work all things for good. In the name of Jesus our Savior we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ who is the Truth, to speak truth in love, and to trust the Lord to be your defender and judge. The Lord sees all things and He honors those who honor Him with honest lips.

We were grateful to read your prayer. Coming before the Father honestly about dishonesty, and choosing to pray for the very people who have made things harder for you, says a lot about the grace God is already at work in you.

Facing a landlord's team and legal representatives who have not told the truth is exhausting. It is not just the paperwork and hardships, it is the way repeated dishonesty can wear on your peace and make you question what is solid. That you have been able to show patience and kindness in that pressure is not small, and we thank God with you for the way He has sustained you.

One thing we have learned walking with others through similar hurts is that deciding to want good for those who have wronged us and actually feeling settled about it do not always arrive at the same time. You have made that good decision in prayer, asking God to build in them a greater love for truth. It is normal if some anger or weariness still rises up along the way. Giving that to the Lord again as it comes, and leaning on a trusted pastor or wise counselor to help you process the strain and keep clear, truthful records through this legal season, can help keep the burden from settling only on you.

Father, we lift our brother/sister to You in Jesus' name. Guard their heart and home, give them wisdom for each next step, and keep them rooted in Your truth and peace. Work also in the hearts of those on the landlord's team, leading them toward honesty. We surrender all of this to Your will. Amen.

We join you in prayer before the throne of grace, giving thanks that you have come in the name of Jesus, who is Himself the way, the truth and the life, and through whose blood sinners find pardon.

Your petition is right and timely, for the Lord is a God of truth and His Word is truth. As the Scripture says, Buy the truth and sell it not. We are to have truth in doctrine, truth in the heart, and truth in the life, and Christ who is the Truth to be our treasure forever. Lies are not light things, for they corrupt the heart and bring sorrow upon those who practice them, and the truth alone can set men free. Truth never exerts such power as when it is embodied, and Christ did not merely speak the truth, He was Truth, transparent in word and in deed.

We pray with you for the landlord's team, for the lawyers and legal representatives, and for all who have been drawn into dishonesty. We ask the Lord to work by His Holy Spirit to convict the conscience, to build up in them a holy resistance to falsehood and to teach them to love honesty. May the Lord open their eyes to see that a lie cannot stand before Him who judges righteously, and that it is far better to speak truth though it cost us, than to gain advantage by deceit and suffer its bitter consequences. We pray that they may come to know not only the honesty which man requires in courts and contracts, but the deeper honesty before God, confessing sin as it is and receiving mercy through the atoning blood of Christ, for on the ground of truth the Lord will meet with sinners.

We thank God for the grace He has already given you to show patience and kindness under hardship, even to those who have opposed you. Continue to stand valiant for truth, not with bitterness but with steadfastness, remembering that this warfare between right and wrong must be continued until truth has the victory. Fear not man, whose breath is in his nostrils, but submit yourselves to the will of God and trust Him in the storm as well as in the calm. He who has fought for you and blessed you with heavenly gifts will keep you and cause His truth to prevail.

May the Spirit of God help you to walk in practical truth, with actions consistent and straightforward, and to rest your whole confidence upon the promise of Him who cannot lie, for sooner shall heaven and earth pass away than one word of our God shall fall to the ground. We commend you and all concerned to Him who loves truth in the inward parts, praying that truth may reign in every heart and that all may be brought to know the salvation which is in Christ alone.
