Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you in agreement before the Father in the name of Jesus and we thank you for coming boldly in that name, for Jesus himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We rejoice that you have acknowledged the sacrifice of the cross where His blood was shed for us sinners and that you have given thanks for His presence and His heavenly gifts even in the midst of hardships.

We hear your burden concerning dishonesty and we agree with you that lies are serious before God. Scripture is very clear about this. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Exodus 20:16 says You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. And Colossians 3:9 says Dont lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. Ephesians 4:25 says Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. The Lord sees every deception and Proverbs 19:5 warns that A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he who pours out lies shall not go free. To lie repeatedly and to commit serious crimes requires a hardening of the conscience, and we agree it is right to pray that the Lord would break through that hardness.

We also commend your spirit of grace in this trial. You have chosen to show patience and kindness to the landlords team, lawyers and legal representatives even while facing hardship, and this reflects the love of Christ in you. We pray you will be kept from bitterness and that you will continue to entrust justice to the Lord, for Romans 12:19 reminds us that vengeance belongs to the Lord and He will repay. At the same time we pray that truth and righteousness will prevail in every legal proceeding, for the Lord loves justice and He fights for His people.

We join you in praying for those who have chosen dishonesty, that the Holy Spirit would convict them deeply and build up in them a holy resistance to lying and a hunger for honesty. We pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth that sets free, for John 8:32 says You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. May they understand that lies bring consequences not only in the courts of man but before the judgment seat of God, and may they turn from falsehood to repentance and to faith in Jesus Christ while there is still time.

We pray together now, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You for Your presence and for fighting for us. We thank You for the cross and for the blood of Jesus shed for sinners. Lord, You are the God of truth and there is no deception in You. We lift up this situation with the landlord and all involved in the legal matters, every member of the team, every lawyer and representative. Lord, expose every lie and let truth be revealed and upheld. Build up in them a resistance to dishonesty and a commitment to speak truth. Convict their hearts, grant them repentance, and help them to practice honesty in all they do. Protect Your children who have been wronged, guard their hearts with peace, keep them steadfast in patience and kindness, and let justice be done according to Your perfect will. We dedicate our lives to You anew and surrender our will to Yours, trusting that You will make Your righteousness shine as the light. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We were moved by your prayer for truth to prevail, even for those who have wronged you. To ask God to build honesty in your landlord's team and legal representatives, rather than only asking for your own vindication, is a gracious and Christlike posture and it is not easy to hold when you have faced real hardship.

What you described takes strength. Continuing to choose patience and kindness while dealing with dishonesty can be exhausting, and it is understandable if you still feel the strain even as you have decided to extend grace. That decision to release the desire for revenge and to wish good for others is meaningful in itself, and the quieter emotional peace around it often comes more gradually over time.

One steady way we have seen people walk through a season like this is to keep a simple, factual record of communications and dates, and to keep a trusted advisor or advocate alongside you for the legal process. It does not replace prayer, but it can help you carry the practical burden with more clarity while you keep entrusting the outcome to the Lord.

Father, we thank You for the way You have sustained these friends and taught them Your patience. We ask You to guard their hearts from weariness and bitterness, to provide for their needs, and to work honesty and integrity in all who are involved. Lead them in Your truth and keep them close to You as they surrender their will to Yours. In Jesus' name, amen.

We thank God with you for the grace that has enabled you to come before Him in the name of Jesus, who is the way, the truth and the life, and to plead for honesty where dishonesty has done its harmful work. It is a good and right prayer, for our God loves truth in the inward parts and His Word is truth, and where truth is wanting there can be no peace with Him or with men.

Your thanksgiving is well founded, that through the blood shed upon the Cross sinners are forgiven, and that even in hardships you have been kept to show patience and kindness to those who have opposed you. This is the practical truth of which the Scripture speaks, when our actions are made consistent with the grace we have received. To buy the truth, as the wise man says, is to love it in doctrine, to know it in the heart by experience, and to walk in it in the life, at any price, and never to sell it. May the Lord keep you in that buying and holding of the truth, that you may have truth in the doctrine, truth in the heart, and truth in the life, and Christ who is Himself the Truth to be your treasure forever.

We join you in praying for the landlord's team, for lawyers and legal representatives, that the Lord in mercy would build up in them a resistance to dishonesty and give them a love for honesty. Lies are indeed a serious evil, and they who utter them must break down every fence that conscience has set up. We pray that the Spirit of God would convince them of this, and open their eyes to know that truth shall set them free, while falsehood only brings bondage and sorrow. Honest dealing with God begins with confessing the truth about ourselves, that we are sinners needing His atoning blood, and honest dealing with men follows from it. May He bring them to that ground of truth where He can meet them in mercy through Christ.

We also pray that this truth which strengthens faith in the storm would be your comfort. When fear would rise because of injustice, remember that the Lord reigns and that to trust Him in trial is genuine faith. He who has fought for you and blessed you with heavenly gifts will not forsake you now. Continue to surrender your will to Him, to watch and pray, and to leave vengeance and vindication in His hands, knowing that He will cause truth at last to have the victory.

Father, we ask in the name of Jesus that Thou wouldst cause truth to prevail in this matter, that Thou wouldst turn hearts from falsehood to integrity, that Thou wouldst guard Thy people in patience and keep them in Thy presence, and that all that is done may be to the praise of Thy holy name.
