Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join with you in this prayer and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for you have rightly declared that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We rejoice that you have come through Him and that you have thanked Him for His presence, for His fighting for you, and for the sacrifice of the cross where His blood was shed for us sinners.

We agree with you that lies are serious before God. Scripture is very clear that dishonesty is not a small matter but an abomination to the Lord. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. And Ephesians 4:25 tells us Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Colossians 3:9 also exhorts us Dont lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. When people choose to lie and persist in it they do indeed have to harden their conscience and break down the resistance that God placed in every heart to love truth, for God desires truth in the inward parts as Psalm 51:6 says Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts. The father of lies is the devil, for John 8:44 reminds us that he is a liar and the father of lies, and we are called to belong to Christ who is truth itself.

We are encouraged by your grace in showing patience and kindness to the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives even while facing hardships. That reflects the heart of Christ in you. Romans 12:17-19 says Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Dont seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to Gods wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. We commend you for choosing this path and for asking not for vengeance but for their transformation.

We pray together now for them and for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this situation to you. You see every hardship that has been endured and you know every untruth that has been spoken. We ask that you would build up in the hearts of the landlord's team, their lawyers and legal representatives a deep resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. Convict them by your Holy Spirit and open their eyes to see that John 8:32 is true, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Let them understand that lies bring consequences not only before earthly law but before your holy judgment, for Revelation 21:8 warns that all liars will have their part in the lake that burns with fire, yet you in mercy desire repentance. Grant them repentance and the courage to practice honesty, to speak truth even when it costs them. Help them to turn from falsehood and to walk in integrity.

We also pray for those who have been wronged, that you would continue to give them grace to remain patient and kind, to not be overcome by evil but to overcome evil with good. Strengthen them as they have dedicated their lives and surrendered their will to you. Let your truth prevail in this legal matter and let your justice be done according to your perfect timing and wisdom. We trust you as the righteous judge who will fight for your people, for Exodus 14:14 says Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still. Cover all involved with your mercy and lead all to the freedom that only comes through truth in Christ.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ the truth, to walk in honesty yourselves and to trust that God will bring all hidden things to light. Luke 8:17 says For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. Continue to surrender your will daily and to rest in His grace, knowing that He who began a good work in you will perfect it.

We appreciated reading your prayer. Being misled by a landlord's team and by legal representatives, especially when your housing is involved, is heavy to carry. We noticed how you are not only asking God for protection for yourselves, but asking Him to build honesty back into the hearts of those who have wronged you. That is not an easy prayer to pray.

Choosing to show patience and to pray for their good instead of holding onto resentment is a real step. We have found that the decision to release the desire to get even and the slower work of the heart finding peace again often move at different paces. Both matter, and it is normal if some days still feel raw even after you have decided to forgive. Keeping your eyes on Jesus as you walk that out, one day at a time, is what allows that peace to grow.

As the legal matters continue, it can help to keep a simple factual record of communications and to have one trusted pastor or wise counselor you can talk through decisions with, so you are not carrying the practical burden alone while you continue to pray.

Father, we lift this situation to You in Jesus' name. We ask for truth to come to light and for wisdom and steadiness for these friends as they navigate each next step. Work in the hearts of all involved and draw each person toward honesty, and guard these friends with Your peace as they trust You. Amen.

Your prayer is a fragrant and needful one, and it is good that you have come in the name of Jesus, who is Himself the way, the truth and the life. Apart from Him there is no approach to the Father, and no truth that can set the soul free. You have done well to begin with thanksgiving for His presence and for the blood shed on the Cross for sinners, for it is only upon the ground of atoning blood that any of us may stand and be heard.

It is right that you feel the weight of dishonesty. The Lord has declared that lying lips are an abomination to Him, and the Scripture warns us that a refuge of lies shall not stand, for the hail shall sweep away the refuges of lies. When men give themselves to falsehood they must first break down every resistance of conscience that God has planted within them, and that is a fearful hardening of the heart. To lie is not a light thing, it is to walk in darkness while claiming fellowship with Him who is light, and he who does so, as the apostle says, does not the truth.

I rejoice to hear that in the midst of hardship you have been given grace to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, to lawyers and legal representatives, even when you have suffered wrong. This is to overcome evil with good, which is the Christian's calling. Heroes of truth are not those who merely contend with words, but those who embody truth in life and in deed, and who meet untruth with a spirit of grace while never consenting to the lie itself.

Let us pray together that the Lord will indeed build up in all who are concerned a holy resistance to dishonesty. May He grant that truth be bought at any price and sold at none, that it be not only doctrinal truth held in the mind, but experimental truth wrought in the heart. Honest dealing with God must come first, for He will meet a man nowhere but upon the ground of truth, where sin is confessed as sin and Christ is trusted as the only Saviour. When a man owns that he has sinned, he owns the truth about himself, and when he trusts that Christ died for sinners, he rests upon the truth about God, and there reconciliation is found.

We will pray that the eyes of those who have practiced deceit may be opened to see that truth alone brings liberty, for as you have rightly said, the truth shall make you free. No man is free while he shelters under falsehood. May the Spirit of God convince them that their present course must bring sorrowful consequence, and may He turn them to love and practice honesty, not from policy but from a renewed heart.

And for you, may the Lord keep you steadfast in truth, free from all fear of man, and submissive to His wise and sovereign will even in this trial. May your faith be strengthened in the storm, remembering that your only hope of happiness lies Godward, and that He who has given His own Son to die will surely give all things needful for those who trust Him.

Our Father in heaven, we bring before Thee both these Thy children who have been wronged and those who have wronged them. Forgive all sin through the precious blood of Jesus. Keep Thy people from any crooked way and establish them in integrity. Work also in the hearts of the landlord's team and all who represent them, that they may forsake every refuge of lies, speak truth one with another, and do justly. Let the power of Christ who is the King of Truth reign over every conscience, that truth embodied in life may prevail. Hear us for Jesus sake, in whose name we ask it, Amen.
