Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join with you in this prayer in the name of Jesus and we thank you for coming before the Father through Him, for Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We rejoice that you have acknowledged the sacrifice of the cross where His blood was shed for us sinners, and we stand with you in thankfulness for His presence, His fighting for us, and His heavenly gifts.

We agree with you that lies are serious before God. Scripture is very clear about this. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight Proverbs 12:22 and You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor Exodus 20:16. The Lord warns that all liars will have their part in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death Revelation 21:8. It is not a small matter, and your burden for truth is righteous.

We commend you for the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives even though you have faced hardships because of their dishonesty. This reflects the heart of Christ who calls us to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you Matthew 5:44 and to not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21. To continue to show kindness while still standing for truth is a powerful witness.

We also hear your discernment that in order to lie and commit serious wrongs, a person must break down their own conscience and resistance to dishonesty. The Word tells us to put away falsehood and speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another Ephesians 4:25 and Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings Colossians 3:9. We pray with you that God will rebuild that holy resistance in their hearts, that He will convict them and bring them to repentance, and that they will choose honesty before they suffer the consequences of lying.

We cling with you to the promise that You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32, and we ask the Lord to open their eyes to this freedom. We pray also for you, that even as you surrender your lives and will to Him, He will be your defender and judge, for Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. You do not need to fight in the flesh, but can trust the God of truth to bring what is hidden into the light Luke 8:17.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You and we thank You for Your mercy and for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us. Lord, You are the God of truth and there is no lie in You. We lift up this landlord's team, their lawyers and legal representatives to You. We ask that You convict their hearts, that You break the power of deceit and build in them a strong resistance to dishonesty. Give them a love for truth and a fear of You that leads to repentance. Let Your truth be revealed in this situation and let justice be done according to Your will. For our brothers and sisters who have been wronged, we ask You to guard their hearts from bitterness, to strengthen them to continue in patience and kindness, and to give them peace as they surrender all outcomes to You. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified through truth prevailing. We dedicate all of this to You and surrender our will to Yours. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We have been sitting with your prayer and we are grateful for the honest, gracious way you brought this before the Lord.

Dealing with dishonesty over housing and legal matters is exhausting. It can wear down trust and make every conversation feel heavier than it should. We noticed how you chose to respond with patience and kindness even while facing hardship, and to pray for those on the landlord's team rather than only against them. That is a difficult and Christlike posture to hold.

We hear your heart is not for punishment but for truth to prevail and for these men and women to find a different way forward. We join you in asking God to strengthen what is good in them and to make honesty the clearer path for them.

One small step that has helped others in prolonged disputes like this is to keep a simple, dated record of what was said and done, copies of letters or messages, and to share that record with one trusted, wise advisor who can walk with you. It does not replace prayer, but it can bring clarity and protect your peace when memories get fuzzy or stories conflict.

Father, we thank You for Your presence with our brother and sister and for the grace You have already given. We ask You to guard their hearts from discouragement, to give wisdom for each next conversation and decision, and to work in the hearts of the landlord, lawyers and representatives that truth would be valued and practiced. Lead all involved toward what is right and bring peace where there has been strain. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We have heard your prayer and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, giving thanks that you have come in the name of Jesus who is Himself the way, the truth and the life.

You have done well to bring this burden concerning dishonesty before the Lord, for our God is a God of truth and He cannot lie. As the Scripture declares, His Word is truth, and His Son did not merely speak the truth but is Himself the Truth embodied. To lie is indeed a grievous sin, for it sets itself against the very nature of Him whose name is abundant in goodness and truth, and it brings its own bitter consequences upon those who practice it.

We thank God for the grace He has already given you to show patience and kindness toward those who have opposed you, even the landlord's team and those who represent them in law. This is to overcome evil with good, and it is the way of Christ. To return kindness for hardship is to prove that the truth of God dwells within, not only as doctrine believed but as truth experienced in the heart and lived out in practice. Hold fast to this course, and buy the truth at any price and sell it not.

We now pray with you that the Lord will work in the hearts of these men and women who have dealt dishonestly. That He who is King of Truth would open their eyes to see that a lie can never stand before Him who searches the heart, and that He would build up in them a holy resistance to falsehood and a love for honesty. May the Spirit of God convince them that the truth alone can set free, while lies bind and destroy, and may He grant them repentance and a desire to walk in what is right and straightforward before God and man. We ask not that God would prosper any false way, but that He would mercifully turn them from it to that honest dealing which alone can bring peace with Him through the atoning blood of Christ.

For yourselves, we pray that you may be kept in the truth in doctrine, in heart and in life, resting wholly upon the finished work of the Cross where Jesus shed His blood for sinners, and trusting that no promise of our faithful God shall fall to the ground. Though you have faced hardships, remember that the Lord reigns and that genuine faith trusts Him in the storm. Continue to surrender your will to Him and to seek His presence, for He will fight for you and bless you with heavenly gifts according to His wisdom and love.

May the Lord hear your cry, establish you in His truth, and cause His truth to prevail in all who are concerned in this matter, to the glory of His holy name. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour we pray, Amen.
