Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you in this powerful prayer and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for we know it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only by His blood shed on the Cross that we sinners are forgiven and made right with God. As you so rightly prayed, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him, John 14:6.

We agree with you that lies are serious before the Lord. Scripture is very clear about this. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight, Proverbs 12:22. We are called to put away falsehood and to speak truth each one with his neighbor, Ephesians 4:25, and to not lie to one another, Colossians 3:9, because the father of lies is the devil himself, John 8:44. A false witness will not be unpunished, and he who utters lies shall perish, Proverbs 19:5. So we share your burden for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives, that they would turn from dishonesty.

We also commend you for the grace you have shown in responding with patience and kindness even while facing hardships. That reflects the heart of Christ in you. We pray that the Lord will continue to guard your heart from bitterness while also bringing justice and truth to light. We do not avenge ourselves, but give place to God's wrath, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19. At the same time we are to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us, Matthew 5:44, which you are doing so faithfully.

We pray together now for this situation.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You and we thank You for Your presence in our lives and for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts. Lord, You see the dishonesty and the serious wrongs that have been committed, and nothing is hidden from Your eyes. We ask that You would convict the hearts of the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives involved. Build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty and to love truth. Open their eyes to know that You desire truth in the innermost being and that the truth will make them free, John 8:32. Deliver them from the snare of lying and from the consequences that follow it, and lead them to repentance. Father, we also ask that You would let truth prevail in this legal matter. Commit your way to Yahweh, trust also in him, and he will do this, he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noonday, Psalm 37:5-6. We surrender our will to You and dedicate our lives to You anew, trusting that You are just, merciful, and sovereign over every detail. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified through a just and truthful outcome. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in truth and to rest in the Lord's justice. He who is faithful will bring to light what is hidden and will vindicate those who trust in Him. Keep praying, keep speaking truth in love, and keep entrusting this matter into His hands.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer. Even in the midst of hardships you are choosing to ask God to work in the hearts of the landlord's team and those representing them, that they would turn toward honesty. That kind of prayer takes grace, and we thank God for the kindness and patience He has already given you.

Wanting truth to prevail is right and good, and it is understandable to feel weary when dishonesty has caused real harm. Continuing to bring this before the Lord as you have, honestly and without returning evil for evil, is a faithful way forward.

One small step that often helps in seasons like this is to keep a clear, calm written record of communications and events as they happen, and to share that record with a trusted pastor or wise counselor who can walk with you through the legal process and help you discern next steps. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we bring this situation to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your protection and wisdom for them, for peace as they surrender their will to You, and for truth to come to light in a way that leads to freedom and healing for all involved. Help them to rest in Your presence and to keep walking in honesty and grace. Amen.

We join you in this prayer for truth, for you have prayed according to the mind of God. Our Lord Jesus is indeed the way, the truth and the life, and as it is written, God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. He can neither err nor break His word, and therefore He cannot smile on anything that is false. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth.

You have done well to bring this burden before Him, and to ask not for vengeance upon men but for victory over falsehood itself. We wrestle not with flesh and blood. We are at war with error and with sin, but toward every man we still endeavor to carry love and prayer. So you rightly pray for the landlord's team, for lawyers and legal representatives, that the Lord would build up in them a resistance to dishonesty and teach them to practice honesty. That is a Christlike prayer, to love those who have caused hardship and to desire their good.

Lies are indeed a serious matter before a holy God. If there be upon the lip a false word, or in the heart a false thought, so far we are out of the sphere in which God can have fellowship with us. Yet the Lord will meet a sinner where truth is and nowhere else. When we confess that we are unworthy, when we own our guilt and deal truthfully with Him, He will deal truthfully with us through the atoning blood of Jesus shed upon the cross. He will never cast away a sinner that comes to Him according to truth.

We pray with you that these persons may see that truth will set them free, and that they may come to hate the lie and love the truth. May they buy the truth and sell it not, buy it at any price, the truth in doctrine, the truth in the heart, the truth in the life, and Christ who is Himself the truth to be their treasure forever. May the Holy Spirit burn that truth into their souls, so that their lips speak what is right and their dealings become honest before God and man.

We thank God for the grace He has already given you to show patience and kindness even in hardship, even as patience and kindness were shown to you. Continue in that grace, and continue to walk in the light, owning the truth before God, trusting that He who is Master and Lord over all will contend for you, will bring what is hidden into light, and will keep you in His fellowship.

We commend you and this whole matter to Him who is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness. May He grant repentance where there has been dishonesty, establish truth in every heart concerned, and keep you faithful as you surrender your will to Him.

Your prayer for truth in the face of dishonesty is heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord. You have rightly named what is at stake, for Jesus himself is the way, the truth and the life, and he calls his people to walk in truth. Lies are not small faults but serious wrongs that wound the one who tells them and strip away honor and trust, and as Scripture warns, dishonest gain brings sorrow in this life and loss in the life to come.

I thank God with you for his presence, for his grace in hardship, and for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for sinners. I thank him also for the patience and kindness he has enabled you to show to the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives, even while you have suffered hardship at their hands. To continue in patience when wronged is a mark of grace at work.

I join you in praying that God will build up in those who have chosen falsehood a new resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. Truth lays hold of an honest soul and masters it, as light fills clear eyes, but when the heart is not candid it resists the light to its own harm. Pray that God will open their eyes to see that truth sets us free, while lying brings its own consequences and judgment, and that they will turn from oaths and falsehoods and perjury to speak what is true.

May the Lord keep you steadfast in honesty, guard your heart from bitterness, and help you to live by honest labor and truthful speech. May he give wisdom and justice in the legal matters before you, and bring all involved to repentance and faith in Christ.

Father, in the name of Jesus we ask you to work in every heart concerned here. Establish truth, restrain deceit, and let honesty prevail. Help all to know that Christ is proclaimed in truth and to walk in his truth. We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you. In Jesus name, Amen.
