Dishonesty

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join you in lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father, acknowledging that Jesus is indeed the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). We are grateful for His sacrifice on the cross, where His blood was shed for our sins, and we stand on the promise that the truth will set us free (John 8:32). Dishonesty is a grievous sin that not only harms others but also separates us from the holiness of God. The Bible warns us, "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who do the truth are his delight" (Proverbs 12:22).

We recognize the hardships you have faced, and we pray that the Lord continues to strengthen you with His grace, enabling you to respond with patience and kindness, just as Christ has shown us. It is concerning to hear of the dishonesty and serious crimes committed by others, and we must remember that sin begins in the heart. Jesus taught, "For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies" (Matthew 15:19). We pray that the Lord would soften the hearts of those involved, convicting them of their wrongdoing and leading them to repentance.

Father, we ask that You build up their resistance to dishonesty. May they be reminded of Your commandment, "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16). Help them to see the destruction that lies bring, not only to others but to their own souls. We pray that You open their eyes to the truth, that they may turn from their ways and seek righteousness. Let them experience Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

We also lift up the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives. Lord, we ask that You grant them wisdom and discernment. May they act with integrity and justice, reflecting Your character in all they do. If any among them have been complicit in dishonesty, we pray that You would bring conviction and lead them to repentance. "The Lord detests differing weights, and dishonest scales do not please him" (Proverbs 20:23). Let Your truth prevail in every aspect of this situation.

We surrender this matter into Your hands, trusting that You are a God of justice and righteousness. We pray that Your will be done and that Your name be glorified through this trial. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to walk in truth, even when faced with adversity. May we be a light in this situation, showing the love and grace of Christ to all involved.

Heavenly Father, we pray for those who have been dishonest, that they would come to know You and the transforming power of Your truth. May they turn from their sins and find forgiveness and new life in Jesus Christ. We ask that You break the chains of deception in their lives and restore them to a right relationship with You. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

We dedicate our lives to You, Lord, and we ask that You guide our steps. Help us to walk in honesty and integrity, reflecting Your character in all we do. May Your truth shine brightly through us, drawing others to You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

You are carrying a heavy load, and we do not take that lightly. The fact that you are praying for the people who have been dishonest, rather than only asking God to defeat them, shows that something deeper is already at work in you. You are not letting their actions write bitterness into your heart.

Forgiveness and truth can sit together here. You can release the weight of resentment into God's hands and still speak plainly about what happened. You can keep honest boundaries and pursue a fair resolution without becoming like what you are facing. If the matter is still unfolding, keep a simple written record of dates, conversations, and documents. That helps truth be represented clearly and frees you from carrying every detail alone. Let your representatives handle the legal pressure while you guard your own words and heart.

Father, we lift up this situation to you. Give our friend steady wisdom and a calm spirit in the middle of the strain. Protect them from exhaustion and discouragement. We ask you to work in the hearts of the landlord's team and legal representatives, strengthening their resistance to dishonesty and awakening in them a real desire to practice truth. You see what is hidden. Bring the truth to light in your time. Keep our friend patient, kind, and firm. In Jesus' name, Amen.

You have done well to bring this matter to the throne of grace, and to pray for those on the other side of your trouble. It is a mark of the Spirit of Christ when we can plead for those who have done us injury. But let me press this upon you: do not let your chief request be merely that these people become more honest in outward conduct. A man may be restrained from lying by prudence, by fear of the court, or by a desire to keep his name, and yet remain an enemy of God in his heart. The truth that sets free is not a bare fact or a good habit; it is a Person, the Lord Jesus Christ. He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. Pray therefore that the Holy Spirit would so work upon these lawyers and representatives that they flee from every refuge of lies and trust in the Son of God.

You say they have broken down all resistance to dishonesty. That is the course of every heart that hardens itself against truth. But resistance to dishonesty cannot be rebuilt by flesh and blood. Ask the Lord to take away the stony heart, to give them a new heart, and to write His law upon their minds. If they are merely made decent, they may perish with decency upon their lips. If they are born again, the lie will be dethroned by the Spirit of truth.

Guard your own spirit also in the midst of this conflict. It is easy to pray for their conversion with the lips while secretly desiring their ruin. Search yourself. You have received grace to show patience and kindness, and that is well, but your kindness cannot regenerate them, nor can your patience atone for their sin. Love the men, hate the lie, and leave consequences in the hands of God. The hail of judgment will sweep away every refuge of lies, but the blood of Jesus shelters every sinner who flees to Him. Pray them to the cross, not simply to a better standard of honesty.

Do not be too quick to ask that they never suffer the consequences of their lying. The Lord often uses a temporal rod to awaken the deceiver to his danger. The worst consequence is not the loss of a lawsuit, but the loss of the soul. Ask that truth may conquer in their hearts, that they may see Christ as their only righteousness, and that you yourself may walk in the truth without bitterness. Continue in prayer, but let every petition be soaked in the gospel. The Spirit of God is not straitened; He can make even a hostile landlord or a lying advocate into a trophy of grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in bringing this burden before the Father in the name of Jesus, who alone is the way, the truth and the life, and whose blood was shed on the Cross for sinners. We thank God for your thankfulness for His presence and His heavenly gifts, and for the grace He has already given you to respond with patience and kindness even in hardship.

You have rightly named dishonesty for what it is. Scripture teaches that a life without godliness and honesty is not the quiet and peaceable life God desires, and that dishonest gain, even when it seems to bring wealth, brings great wailing and the loss of the kingdom. The love of money and the deceit that comes with buying and selling, with oaths and falsehoods, rivets the soul to the earth and keeps it from looking to heaven. Truth, on the other hand, when it finds an honest soul, easily masters it and enlightens it, as the sun enlightens clear eyes. That is why you pray so well when you ask that resistance to dishonesty would be built up in these people.

We pray with you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom alone we have salvation and access to Your throne. We thank You for Your truth revealed in Him and for the righteousness and holiness of truth into which You call us. Lord, You see the dealings of the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives. You know every lie and every serious wrong that has been done, and You know how hard it is to turn back once a person has broken down their own resistance to dishonesty.

We ask You to have mercy on them and on all involved. Open their eyes to see that truth sets us free, while lying brings bondage and judgment. Grant them an honest soul that loves candor and hates falsehood. Build up in them a new resistance to dishonesty and a desire to practice honesty in all their words and dealings, whether in business or in the courts. Convict them where they have sinned, lead them to repentance through faith in Jesus Christ, and teach them to walk in all godliness and honesty.

For you who have prayed, we ask that the Lord would keep you in His grace, that you would continue to surrender your will to Him, to live not only with right doctrine but with a life that supports it, and that you would be kept from bitterness and be strengthened to continue in patience, kindness and truth. May He guard your heart, provide for your needs, and let your life be a witness to the power of the Cross and the freedom that comes from walking in truth.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and our truth. Amen.

Your prayer reflects a heart that wants to honor the Lord, and thank you for bringing this burden before Him so clearly. It is right to come in the name of Jesus, for He Himself is the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. You have thanked Him for His presence, for His fighting for you, and for the blood shed on the cross for sinners, and that is the right foundation for every prayer.

You are right that dishonesty is a serious matter before God. Scripture is plain that God is a God of truth and His word is truth. That truth endures forever when heaven and earth will pass away. To observe lying vanities is to forsake mercy, and lying lips that speak proudly against the righteous are not pleasing to Him. As long as a person tries to hide the truth, it goes nowhere with God, because He knows the heart fully. The Spirit Himself is truth and bears witness to what is true, and that witness agrees with the blood and the water that testify of Christ.

It is encouraging to hear that even through hardship you have been given grace to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives. That is the mark of walking in truth, not with hidden dishonesty or craftiness or deceit, but by openly living out the truth before others and before God. The gospel we have received is to be received as it truly is, the word of God, and when it transforms a life it commends itself to every conscience in the sight of God. Your desire to show the same patience that was shown to you reflects that work.

You asked that God would build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them practice honesty, and that their eyes would be opened to see that the truth sets free. That is a biblical prayer. Jesus said you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Many do not welcome the truth at first and would rather be flattered, and a servant of God must seek to please God rather than people. Often minds are blinded and the truth is distorted by the enemy who deceives and holds people in his power. For that reason we pray that God would bind that blinding work and free minds to see clearly, so that the plain truth can be received.

We also remember that God is a witness to legal matters. When a transaction was made openly before the elders of the city as witnesses, it pictured the greater reality that in heaven there are elders around the throne witnessing the true legal record. Nothing in a court or in a negotiation is hidden from Him. He will bring what is done in secret into the light and He loves justice and mercy.

So we join you in prayer that the Lord will give you continued grace to walk in truth, for there is no greater joy than to know that His children are walking in truth, and that truth dwells in us and will be with us forever. May He grant grace, mercy and peace in truth and love to you as you surrender your will to Him, and may He open the eyes of all involved in this legal matter to love the truth, to renounce every hidden dishonest way, and to choose honesty. May He guard you from the consequences that lies bring and lead all of you into the freedom that only the truth in Christ can give. In Jesus name, Amen.
