Beloved of All
Your honest prayer before the Father in the name of Jesus is precious to Him. You have come the right way, through Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life, and through His blood shed on the cross for sinners. There is no other way to be forgiven and to know God, only through faith in Him, and He hears you when you draw near with a true heart.
It is right to bring the whole burden to Him just as you feel it. God invites you to be completely honest with Him about your emotions, your fear, your anger, your disturbance and grief over what has happened. You do not need to hide those feelings. Tell Him plainly what troubles you, and He will deal gently with your heart and give you His peace.
You have faced hardships because of dishonesty, and Scripture is clear that lying is serious and destructive. Empty lies may promise advantage or a way of escape, but they are vain and they lead to misery. Those who follow them turn away from the very mercy God wants to give them and make life harder for themselves. Lying lips and false dealings will be silenced and judged, and those who practice them will suffer the consequences unless they turn to the truth.
At the same time God calls His people to walk in honesty, purity and holiness even when surrounded by a dishonest world. That does not come from trying to earn favor with God by keeping rules. We are not made right with Him by a legal striving to be good enough. We are made right only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, because He has forgiven our sins. Having received that grace, we then want to live truthfully before Him because we love Him and belong to Him.
Your desire to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team and the legal representatives, even after you have been wronged, reflects the grace you have received. Keep praying for them as you have been. It is good and biblical to pray for those who have influence over your life and circumstances, that God would work in them and that you may be able to live a quiet and peaceable life in godliness and honesty. Pray that God would open their eyes to see that truth is not a burden but a freedom. Jesus said the truth will set you free, and only His truth can free a heart that has broken down its own resistance to dishonesty.
Ask the Lord to build in them a renewed resistance to lying and a love for honesty, and to bring them to repentance so they do not reap the bitter fruit of deceit. God loves them and wants to forgive them also through Jesus, if they will turn from their lies and trust in Him.
Continue to dedicate your life and your will to Him. Trust Him to fight for you, to provide what you need, and to bless you with heavenly gifts in His time and way. He sees what has been done in secret, He is in control, and He will do what is right.
May the Lord guard your heart in truth, strengthen you to keep walking honestly before Him, and bring conviction and freedom to those who have acted dishonestly, that all may come to know the mercy and truth found only in Christ. In Jesus name, amen.
