dishonesty

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
amen

We stand before our Heavenly Father, deeply moved by this cry for truth and integrity in the midst of dishonesty. The Word of God is clear: "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). Dishonesty is not merely a mistake, it is a sin that grieves the heart of God, for He is the God of truth, and in Him there is no deceit (1 Peter 2:22).

We lift up this situation with heavy hearts, knowing that lies have caused pain, division, and injustice. But we also declare that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and no lie can stand in the presence of His light. We rebuke every spirit of deception that has taken root in this matter, for "no lie is of the truth" (1 John 2:21 WEB). We pray that the scales of deception would fall from the eyes of those who have participated in or enabled these lies, that they may see the destruction their actions have caused and turn from them in repentance.

Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of the landlord’s team, the lawyers, and all legal representatives involved. Break down the walls of pride and self-interest that have allowed dishonesty to flourish. "The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them" (Proverbs 11:3 WEB). We pray that You would convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive when we confess our wrongdoing (1 John 1:9).

We also stand in the gap for those who have been wronged by these lies. Lord, You see every injustice, and You promise to be a refuge for the oppressed (Psalm 9:9). Strengthen those who have been harmed, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the truth will prevail, for "the truth will set you free" (John 8:32 WEB).

Father, we surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will bring justice and restoration. We pray that those who have been dishonest would not only turn from their ways but would also make amends where possible, walking in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7). May Your Holy Spirit work powerfully in their lives to rebuild their resistance to sin and their commitment to truth.

We also lift up our own hearts before You, Lord. Search us and know us, and see if there is any deceitful way in us (Psalm 139:23-24). Forgive us for the times we have been less than honest, whether in word or deed, and help us to walk in integrity before You and others. Let our lives be a testimony to Your truth, that others may see Christ in us.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is the Truth and who has overcome the world (John 16:33). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We hear the strain behind your words, being on the receiving end of calculated dishonesty is deeply unsettling, especially when it involves people who are supposed to uphold what is right. Yet here you are, praying for their growth in truth, still showing the patience and kindness you’ve received from God. That kind of grace doesn’t come from us alone; it flows from Christ’s own long-suffering with us.

What sometimes helps when lies cut deep is understanding what often drives a person to this level of deception. Many who lie repeatedly or to cover serious wrongdoing do so out of a history of failure and a fragile ego, the lies become a desperate way to protect themselves from shame. It is rarely personal, even when it feels that way. Seeing this doesn’t excuse what they’ve done, but it can drain some of the venom from the wound and free you from carrying the full weight of the offense. You’ve already begun that release by bringing them before the Lord. Keep going.

One small but concrete step: take each lie that still echoes in your mind, and in a quiet moment name it aloud and hand it to Jesus. Simply say, “Lord, I release this into your hands. You are the Truth, and I trust you to bring what is hidden into the light in your time.” This is not about fixing them, it’s about keeping your own heart clean and unburdened as you navigate whatever practical steps you need to take.

Father, thank you for this one who refuses to let bitterness take root. Thank you that no lie can outlast the light of your presence. Protect their heart from discouragement, give wisdom to all who advise them, and in your mercy draw those who have chosen dishonesty to genuine repentance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The cry against falsehood rises to the throne of God, and He who is the Truth hears it. You have rightly named the evil, for a lie is no light thing, it erodes the soul and breaks down every godly resistance. Yet even as you pray for those who have wielded dishonesty against you, remember that truth must be bought, and it must be bought at any price. Do not imagine that truth will ever be cheap; it cost our Master His blood, and it will cost you the surrender of all pretense. If you would see others built up in honesty, you must first be sure the truth is in you, doctrinal truth, experimental truth, practical truth. The Word of God is the standard; let no false peace or partial confession remain.

Consider those you pray for: they have broken down all resistance to dishonesty, you say. This is a fearful state, for when the truth is not in a man, he has condemned himself out of his own mouth. There can be no meeting with God on the ground of falsehood. The Lord meets souls where truth is, even sad truth confessed in repentance. Pray, then, that the Spirit of God would pierce them with the barbed arrows of divine truth, that they would feel the weight of their crime and flee to Christ, who is Truth embodied. But see to it that your own witness is transparent, truth in public, truth in private, truth in word and truth in deed. The world will not be won by half-measures or by a truth that compromises with the darkness.

You have shown patience and kindness, and this is well, but let it never be a patience that coddles sin. The war of truth waxes hot; we must be valiant for God and for His truth. Our forefathers held the banner at the cost of their blood, and we dare not let it fall. Pray that these lawyers and representatives would be brought to the light, but do not soften the edge of truth in your dealings with them. Surrender your will, yes, but to the King of Truth, whose kingdom is over all who love righteousness. In His name, be bold to speak the truth in love, and trust that the same Spirit who caused the Ephesians to burn their costly books of sorcery can kindle a fire of honest confession in the hearts of those who now practice deceit. Truth alone sets free, and Christ is that Truth. Lay hold of Him, and pray that they may do likewise.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have done well to pray for those who have lied against you and committed serious crimes, asking that their resistance to dishonesty be rebuilt and their eyes opened to the truth. This is itself a mark of grace, that you should show patience and kindness even to those who have wronged you, remembering the blood shed for sinners. Yet we must not soften the gravity of what they have done. Lying is no light matter; it defiles the soul and invites the just judgment of God. When they broke down every inner barrier in order to deceive and commit crimes, they did not stumble blindly, but suppressed the truth that reason and conscience declare. So your prayer that God would build up their resistance and lead them to honesty is a righteous longing, in line with His own will that none should perish but all come to repentance.

But learn also from this: grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. The Law was given, but grace and truth are not merely ministered like a message handed from one to another; they flow from the authority of the King who forgives offenses and bestows the Spirit. It is not by human effort that a habitual liar is changed, but by this grace, which teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts. So do not suppose your own persistence or their mere willpower can accomplish this. Entrust them to God, who alone can grant repentance and open blind eyes. Your prayer is a seed planted; leave its growth to Him.

Consider also the root from which conflicts like these spring. Nearly every strife, every act of dishonesty, is born from clinging to earthly things, money, property, reputation. If they have defrauded you, they have not harmed your true treasure. If they have slandered or cheated you, the honor they stole is of no account, a mere shadow. The only glory that matters is the one given by God. Cut out this root of worldly attachment, and you will find that your heart remains at peace, even when outwardly you face hardships. Do not rush into the conflict, clamoring for your rights, but when the time proves you must stand for truth, then stand nobly, not for the sake of your own vindication, but that the truth itself might be honored.

And never demand that God conform His justice to your timeline. If we received strict justice, we would all have perished instantly, for we insult not a stranger but our Benefactor. It is mercy that delays punishment, giving space for repentance. The appearing of the Lord will reveal all; until then, continue in good deeds, judge the fatherless, do justice for the widow, and pray for your enemies. In this way, by the grace of God, you will both guard your own soul and become an instrument of that truth which sets free.

Your prayer rises from a heart that knows the weight of dishonesty and still chooses to entrust the situation to God. That is no small thing. When you ask Him to build up resistance to lying in those who have wronged you, you are asking for something God delights to do. He is the God of truth, and His Son declared Himself to be the truth. There is no darkness in Him at all.

Lies are serious, just as you have said. Scripture says lying lips are an abomination to Him, and anyone who regards lying vanities forsakes their own mercy. A falsehood always looks like a shortcut, a way to avoid the painful path of the cross, but it only deepens the snare. The enemy uses deception to blind eyes, to keep people captive to a pattern of dishonesty that promises relief but delivers bondage. That is why your prayer is directly on target: their eyes need to be opened. Only the truth can set them free.

You are walking that narrow path yourself when you show them the patience and kindness you have received. That is grace in action. It can be hard to extend such gentleness to those who have lied, especially when you suffer for it. But remember that kindness does not mean nodding at falsehood. Love speaks truth, even when the truth is painful. There are times when silence is wisdom, but there is never a moment when lying is justified. If we trust God to care for us, we do not need to take refuge in deception. He is able to guard what we entrust to Him.

What you are really asking is that they become doers of the truth, not just hearers who consent with a nod while their lives remain unchanged. Many people believe certain facts about Jesus and even admire Him, but they never build on the rock of obedience. A house that rests only on mental agreement will not stand in the storm. Your prayer for them to practice honesty is a prayer that they would walk in the truth and no longer be deceived by empty lies that cannot protect them when judgment comes.

I rejoice to see you asking this rather than merely asking for relief. There is no greater joy than to see people walking in the truth. So continue to declare His truth in your own life, and let that testimony be a quiet, steady witness. Pray that God would tear down every lying imagination that sets itself up against the knowledge of Christ. He is able to remove the blindness and bring even hardened hearts to genuine repentance. In the meantime, let your own steps be firmly planted in the truth, and do not let the bitterness of the wrong done to you become a snare. The Lord sees, and He will bring everything to light in His time.

May God deepen your own love for the truth and use you as a fellow helper in the truth to those who are still stumbling in the dark. Keep surrendering your will to Him. He is faithful, and truth has the final word.

We are so grateful that you trusted us to stand with you in prayer as you sought the Lord’s intervention in this painful struggle with dishonesty. It is a heavy burden when others distort the truth, especially when their actions bring hardship to those who strive to walk in integrity. We have continued to lift up your situation before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to be your shield and defender.

We pray that the Lord has begun to reveal His justice and mercy in this matter. If His hand has moved in ways you can now see—whether through changed hearts, new clarity, or unexpected provision—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. There is nothing more encouraging than witnessing how God turns trials into testimonies.

If, however, the battle still feels unresolved, please do not hesitate to share your request again. We are committed to walking with you in persistent prayer, trusting that the God of truth will break every chain of deception. May He strengthen your heart as you wait on Him, and may He soften the hearts of those involved, drawing them to repentance and restoration.

Let us continue to pray for the ###’s team, the ###, and all those entangled in this web of dishonesty. Father, we ask that You dismantle every stronghold of lies in their lives and replace it with a hunger for Your righteousness. Build up their resistance to deception, Lord, just as You have strengthened this dear one to respond with patience and kindness. Open their eyes to the freedom found only in Your truth, so they may turn from sin and avoid its destructive consequences.

We stand on Your promise that the truth will prevail, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper. Thank You for the grace You provide in every trial, and thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
