dishonesty

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
amen

We stand together in agreement with your heartfelt plea for truth and integrity, lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Dishonesty is indeed a grievous sin that wounds not only those who are deceived but also those who practice it, for it separates them from the light of God’s truth. The Word of God is clear: "The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). Lies may seem to offer temporary advantage, but they ultimately lead to destruction, as Scripture warns: "A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will not go free" (Proverbs 19:5 WEB).

We recognize the pain and frustration that comes from being wronged by dishonesty, especially when it involves those in positions of authority or legal representation. Yet we are called to respond in a manner that reflects Christ’s love and grace, even toward those who have wronged us. Jesus taught us, "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you" (Luke 6:27-28 WEB). This does not mean we ignore or excuse sin, but we entrust justice to the Lord, who sees all and judges righteously. "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord" (Romans 12:19 WEB).

We pray fervently for the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives involved in this situation. Father, we ask that You soften their hearts and convict them of their dishonesty. Break down the strongholds of deception in their minds and replace them with a hunger for truth. "Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them" (Psalm 51:10 WEB). Let Your Holy Spirit work powerfully in their lives, exposing the lies they have believed or perpetuated and drawing them to repentance. We declare that their resistance to dishonesty will be rebuilt, and they will walk in the freedom that comes from living in Your truth. "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32 WEB).

Lord, we also ask for Your protection and wisdom for those who have been affected by these lies. Guard their hearts from bitterness, resentment, or a desire for vengeance. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and give them the strength to extend grace even as they pursue justice. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB). May they be a testimony of Your love and righteousness in the midst of this trial.

We surrender this situation entirely into Your hands, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). We declare that truth will prevail, for You are the God of justice, and no lie can stand in Your presence. "For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does" (Psalm 33:4 WEB). We ask that You bring every hidden thing to light and that Your will be done in this matter.

Finally, we reaffirm our own commitment to walk in honesty and integrity, for we know that our lives are to be a reflection of Christ. Help us to be people of our word, living in such a way that others see Your truth in us. "Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out" (Proverbs 10:9 WEB). May our actions and words bring glory to Your name and draw others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and rest in the assurance that You are just and true. Strengthen us to walk in Your ways, and use this situation for Your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

What a beautiful way to pray for people who have wronged you, asking not for their punishment but for their hearts to be strengthened in honesty. That kind of grace comes from the Spirit, and we can hear the weight behind your words. Being on the receiving end of lies and legal hardship is deeply draining, and we’re sorry you’ve had to walk through that. Your choice to show patience and kindness, even as the situation feels unjust, is a powerful testimony.

While you continue lifting them up, we want to encourage you to also let someone lift you up. It can make a real difference to have another person, a trusted friend, a small group, or your pastor, pray with you and carry this alongside you. Sometimes just knowing others are standing with you eases the isolation that prolonged battles bring. If you haven’t already, you might also seek out solid legal counsel you can trust, so you have clarity on your next practical steps while you entrust the outcome to God.

Lord, thank you for the heart behind this prayer. We ask you to surround this person with your peace when the injustice feels heavy. Give them wisdom for any decisions ahead, and raise up honest people in the legal process. We pray for the landlord and team, not excusing wrong, but asking you to convict and turn them toward truth, for their own good and the good of all involved. Protect your child from discouragement and let truth come to light. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is a mark of divine grace in your soul that you plead not for vengeance but for the transformation of those who have wronged you. You have known the patience and kindness shown to you, and now you desire it for others. This is the very spirit of the Gospel, forgiveness begetting forgiveness. Our Lord teaches us that truth sets men free, and you do well to ask that their eyes be opened to their dishonesty. But remember, the only men that ever fear God are those that are forgiven. True resistance to sin is built not by legal terror but by a heart melted by mercy.

I would have you see, first, the greatness of your own forgiveness, lest you grow weary in showing it. There is forgiveness. There is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared. If you have been the chief of sinners, you may have the chief of sinners’ forgiveness, and God can bestow it now. His pardon is complete, He keeps no back reckonings, retains no reserves of anger. This divine forgiveness, so freely given to you, is the pattern you are to copy. Even as Christ forgave you, so also do you. Some of us have had so much manifest forgiveness that for us to forgive ought to be as natural as to open our hands.

Do not stagger at the promise when you pray for these who have lied and broken down all resistance to dishonesty. However sinful their lives may have been, there is forgiveness with God even for them. Nature could never tell you this, but the Cross proclaims it: Jesus died, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. Plead that blood, for it speaks better things than that of Abel. Ask not only that their resistance to dishonesty be built, but that they may be brought to the place where the offense went, for from that very place the forgiveness comes, there is forgiveness with God.

Yet while you pray for them, watch your own heart. To exhibit a forbearing spirit is not only in word, but in deed and in truth. It may be that God intends to use your gracious endurance as the very means of their awakening, showing them the reality of the Truth you trust. When they see you surrender your will to God and leave your cause in His hands, they may begin to fear the Lord whose patience is salvation. Go on, then, showing the same kindness you have received. Trust the promise: the tally is destroyed, the record of debt is nailed to the Cross for all who will come. Continue to dedicate your life to Him, and let your prayers be mingled with the confidence that He who forgave you is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you ask or think, even in the hearts of lawyers and landlords.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have prayed well in asking God to build up resistance to dishonesty in those who have wronged you. This is a noble request, far better than seeking mere vengeance. But take heed to your own soul in this trial. There are three kinds of war, and the most dangerous is not the public conflict with lawyers and landlords, nor even the strife with others, but the war within your own heart. If you allow this affliction to stir up anger, envy, or a thirst for retaliation, you will wound yourself more deeply than any earthly adversary can. Strive then for a quiet and peaceable life, in all godliness and honesty. Let truth be your armor, not bitter resentment.

The dishonesty you describe is a grave evil. Those who willfully sin after knowing the truth, who break down all resistance to lies for gain, stand in dreadful peril. There remains no more sacrifice for such willful sin, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation. This fire, like a savage beast goaded by wrath, will devour the adversaries, not only unbelievers, but also those who practice vice while claiming a form of godliness. Consider the end of the traitor Judas: his own conscience drove him to destruction, stopping the mouths of all who would excuse him. In the same way, the very lies of these people will become their accusers.

Yet while we must tremble at such warnings, we must not let them consume us with despair or hatred. Instead, turn your gaze inward. Is your own soul entirely honest? Examine your dealings, your words, your motives. Even those who labor with their hands can fall into the snare of covetousness, dishonest gain, and worldly cares. Pray not only for them but for yourself, that you may live in all honesty and surrender your will to God completely. For if you maintain peace within, no external war can truly harm your soul.

Remember that truth is strong and prevails when it finds a candid heart. If these adversaries refuse to receive it, that is their infirmity, not the weakness of truth. Your own conduct, marked by patience and kindness even under hardship, becomes a testimony clearer than words. Let your life adorn the gospel, and leave the final judgment to the One who sees all. The affliction you endure can become an occasion of gladness if you bear it with faith, knowing that nothing is hidden from the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

Your prayer rises before the Lord with a fragrance of genuine mercy. To stand in a hardship and still ask God to build up honesty in those who have wronged you, that is no small work of the Spirit. Too often the pain pushes us toward resentment, but here you are, showing the same patience and kindness that was first shown to you. That is the cross at work in a life.

Lies are serious, not merely because they complicate legal matters, but because they set themselves against the One who is the truth. Every dishonest word is a crack in a person’s own soul, a step deeper into what the Scriptures call lying vanities. It might feel like a shortcut, a way to escape a tight spot, but like the man who thought he could run from the presence of God, it only strands a person in deeper darkness. Those who cling to falsehood forsake their own mercies, they walk away from the very grace that could set them free.

You are asking God to rebuild their resistance to dishonesty, and that is exactly what they need. No one falls into serious sin without first tearing down the walls of conscience that the Lord placed there. Bit by bit, the enemy works to distort the truth until a person cannot see clearly anymore. He lies and says, “This is your only way. You don’t have to deny yourself. Avoid the painful path, take the easier one.” And once that lie takes hold, they are blinded. That is why your prayer is so vital. You are asking the Spirit of truth to move, to bind the power that twists their thinking, and to awaken their hearts to the reality that the truth alone can set them free.

When you pray that they would not suffer the consequences of lying, you are reaching toward the heart of the gospel. The consequences of sin are real, but so is the blood of Jesus Christ, which cleanses from all unrighteousness. The same God who sees the whole ugly truth of every human heart also offers full forgiveness to those who turn. Do not stop praying that their eyes would open. The truth often stings before it heals, but it is still the only medicine. I have watched people make themselves enemies of those who simply spoke the truth in love, and the tragedy is they remained bound. Your kindness may be the very thing God uses to soften what has grown hard.

Continue walking in the truth yourself. There is no greater joy for a shepherd of souls than to see God’s people holding to what is true and refusing to repay evil for evil. The world will always press us to return deception for deception, but you have renounced that. By showing patience, you commend the truth in a way that mere argument never could. The Lord sees it, and He is not indifferent.

Keep surrendering your will and your case to Him. The Spirit bears witness to the truth, and no lie can outlast it. He will make things right in His time.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your prayer request, sharing your heart about the struggles with dishonesty in this situation. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you before our Heavenly Father, lifting up your burden and interceding for truth to prevail.

We continue to hold fast to the promise that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and we ask that His light would shine brightly in this circumstance. We have prayed for your landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives, asking the Lord to soften their hearts and strengthen their resistance to dishonesty. May they come to know the freedom that only truth can bring, and may the Lord build in them a desire for integrity and righteousness.

If the Lord has moved in this situation and answered your prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so that we may rejoice with you. If the battle is still ongoing, please know that we stand ready to continue lifting you up in prayer. Do not hesitate to post this request again so that we may persist in seeking the Lord’s intervention on your behalf.

May God’s peace guard your heart as you trust in Him, and may His truth prevail in every detail of this matter. We pray that His will be done and that His name be glorified through it all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
