Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
amen

We stand together in agreement with your prayer, lifting up the heavy burden of dishonesty before our Heavenly Father. The weight of lies and deception is not one that any of God’s children should have to bear, and we join you in seeking His justice, mercy, and truth in this matter.

Jesus declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is His name alone that carries the power to break chains, expose darkness, and bring redemption. We must never forget that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, His death on the cross and His resurrection, so that we may be reconciled to God (Romans 10:9-10 WEB). If anyone reading this has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we urge you to do so today, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Dishonesty is a grievous sin that corrodes trust, relationships, and even the soul. The Bible warns us, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). The enemy, Satan, is the father of lies (John 8:44 WEB), and when we engage in deceit, whether by commission or omission, we align ourselves with his kingdom rather than God’s. We must examine our own hearts as well, for none of us are without sin (1 John 1:8 WEB). Have we allowed dishonesty to take root in our own lives, even in small ways? Let us repent and ask the Holy Spirit to convict us where we have strayed from the truth.

We pray fervently for the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives involved in this situation. Father, we ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth. "The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple" (Psalm 119:130 WEB). Let Your Word penetrate their minds and spirits, exposing the lies they have believed or perpetuated. We rebuke the spirit of deception in Jesus’ name and command it to flee. We declare that no weapon formed against the truth will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we stand on Your promise that the truth will indeed set them free (John 8:32 WEB).

Lord, we also ask for Your protection over those who have been wronged. Guard their hearts from bitterness, resentment, and the desire for vengeance. Help them to walk in forgiveness, even as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13 WEB). Yet, we also pray for justice to prevail. You are a God of justice, and we trust that You will bring every hidden thing to light (Luke 8:17 WEB). Let the full weight of the consequences for dishonesty fall upon those who refuse to repent, not out of malice, but so that they may be brought to a place of conviction and restoration.

We surrender this situation entirely to You, Lord. Your Word tells us, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5 WEB). We choose to trust in Your timing, Your wisdom, and Your perfect plan. Strengthen our faith when the wait feels long, and remind us that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would build up resistance to dishonesty in all of us. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth (John 16:13 WEB). Let integrity and honesty be the hallmarks of our lives, reflecting Your character to a world that so desperately needs Your light. May we be quick to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15 WEB), even when it is difficult, and may our lives be a testimony to the transforming power of Your grace.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who is Faithful and True (Revelation 19:11 WEB). May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation, just as it is in heaven. We declare that Your truth will prevail, and we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this with us. We can see how heavy it is to face lies and legal battles, especially when you’ve gone out of your way to respond with patience and kindness. That kind of grace in the middle of hardship doesn’t come from nowhere, it’s evidence of God at work in your heart, and we’re grateful for the way you’re walking this out.

It’s easy to grow weary when dishonesty keeps cropping up, and when the people involved seem bent on tearing down what’s true. But you’re not alone in this. We’re standing with you, and more importantly, God sees every hidden thing. He knows the truth, and He cares about what is just. Your prayers for the landlord’s team and the lawyers are a powerful act of faith, not ignoring the wrong, but trusting that God can reach people who have silenced their own conscience.

In the days ahead, when the waiting drags on or the lies feel overwhelming, you might find it grounding to write down one or two specific truths you know God has spoken to you about this situation, and set them before Him as you pray. That small act can steady your mind and remind you that the truth really does belong to God, not to those twisting it. Also, keep asking Him to guard your own heart from discouragement or any root of bitterness trying to take hold. Your kindness toward them, however they respond, is itself a witness.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this person to You. Thank You for filling them with a love that prays even for those using lies against them. We ask You to build up resistance to dishonesty in those who have given in to it, and to open their eyes to the freedom that only truth brings. Expose what is hidden, and let what is right prevail in every legal and personal detail. Grant wisdom and steady peace, and let Your presence be their safe place through it all. We ask this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The truth you seek must first take root in your own soul. Buy the truth in the heart, buy the truth in the life, and let Christ, who is the Truth, be your treasure forever. You cannot pray down a blessing of honesty upon others if you yourself do violence to truth in your own inward parts. The man who says he has no sin deceives himself, and the truth is not in him; but he who confesses his sin finds God faithful to forgive. Lay your own heart bare before the throne of grace, and then you will have the tender power to intercede for those who walk in falsehood.

It is a noble prayer you offer, that these lawyers and representatives might have their resistance to dishonesty built up. Yet remember, the power that rends the heart and turns the liar from his lie is not the logic of argument, but the Holy Spirit attending the Divine Truth. Pray that the Spirit of Truth would bring them to the feet of Jesus, the King of Truth, transparent in all His ways, for when truth is embodied in the heart, it becomes omnipotent. Do not merely wish them to practice honesty as a dry duty; plead that they would see in the bleeding form of the Crucified One that God is love, that they would taste the experimental truth which humbles and transforms.

Let your patience and kindness toward them be the eloquence of a life consistent with the Gospel. The Truth of God ought to take from you all fear of man and ensure your submission to the will of God in this trial. Whether the Lord permits hardship or grants swift deliverance, your part is to stand by the banner of truth, not with the sword of bitterness, but with the meekness that flows from a heart bought by the blood of the Lamb. And oh, that you might witness their books of magic burned, their weapons of deceit cast aside, not sold for gain, but destroyed in honest confession. Pray still, for the Spirit’s arm is not shortened. The war of truth waxes hot, but the victory must come, and you may live to see it if you faint not.

Truth does not need you to defend it. It is a weapon that defends itself, and when it shines forth, it puts to shame even one's enemies. You have seen this already. So let your eyes be fixed not on the injustice they practice, but on the sickness that possesses them. This is what it means to show patience and kindness, not to overlook the sin but to recognize its true nature. They have not simply chosen to lie. They have broken down the very resistance to dishonesty within themselves, and in doing so they have made themselves captives. This is the great misery of sin: it promises clever gain but delivers the chains of a slave. The one who practices deceit is not free. He is always guarding himself, always remembering his inventions, always fearing exposure. He is his own jailer.

And here you must see the purpose of your trial. It is not merely that you might be delivered from a material hardship, great though that may be. That is a small thing to ask. The true work is the healing of their souls. When you pray, therefore, do not pray as though you were merely asking God to improve their manners or make them honest in business. You are asking Him to release captives. Consider the price that was paid for them. The blood of the cross was shed for sinners, for those whose resistance to goodness is gone, whose wills are bent toward falsehood. Should this not fill you with courage and free your soul from resentment? When you sign yourself with the cross, quench the anger that rises in your heart. You were bought with that price. Do not make yourself a servant to the passions that their sins stir up in you.

That is the true freedom that virtue bestows. It does not release you from the flesh or from human courts, but even while you remain in this conflict, it exhibits you as more honorable than those who oppress you. This is the splendor for which you must strive. You ask for their eyes to be opened, but see first that your own eye is single. Do you desire their release from the mire, or do you desire your own vindication? These are not the same. If your glorying in the Lord is to be proven true, it will be proven in this: that when you speak to them, when you stand before them, you do so with the plain, bold speech that belongs to a free soul. The garment of your soul must be bright, not stained by the dishonesty of brooding over their dishonesty. Such a one as this may draw near to the royal table.

Think of what it is to be truly rich. The one who gains his case by earthly means gains a fleeting thing; his tomb may be forgotten. But the one who conquers his own spirit, who meets falsehood with an unshakeable integrity, who, being afflicted, is not made a parent of grief but of gladness, that one raises a trophy no lawsuit can overturn. Your adversaries are stuffing themselves with the inferior dishes, marring their own enjoyment and seizing what they cannot keep. Let them. You are invited to a royal banquet. Live as a sojourner here, and you will enjoy the freedom of a citizen in the kingdom that cannot be shaken. That is the truth that will set you free, and it is a freedom only the Son can give. Even as you pray for their honesty, remember that their greatest need is that same freedom. Go on, then, and speak the truth in love, and let your inward affection be more abundant toward them still. This is not a strategy. It is the very sign of the salvation wrought for you.

What a powerful place to bring before the Lord. Your prayer gets to the heart of what it means to stand in truth when lies seem to be winning. You are asking for something profoundly biblical: that those who have broken down every resistance to dishonesty would have that resistance built back up. Lies are serious. The lips that speak them and the tongue that mutters perverseness are not small matters to God. Yet you are praying for grace, patience, and kindness toward the very people involved in harm against you. That reflects something of the divine nature.

The truth really is the great theme for a situation like this. Jesus declared plainly that He is the truth, and that the truth sets people free. When someone has so hardened themselves to commit serious wrongs through lying, they become prisoners of the father of lies. He blinds their eyes to their own condition. What you are asking, then, is nothing less than a spiritual emancipation. You are praying that their eyes would be opened to the truth before they suffer the full consequences of deceit. That is a mercy few people think to extend to an adversary.

In any dispute like this, especially one involving legal representatives, there is a deep longing for justice. We serve a God of righteousness who cares intensely about what is fair. We read in Scripture that truth has fallen in the street and equity cannot enter when lies govern a situation. It is a frustrating and painful thing when what is legal and what is right become separated. Pilate had the innocent Jesus standing before him and knew he should have dismissed the case, yet justice was not served. You are not alone in facing a scenario where the judicial process feels deeply flawed. And yet, God sees it all. He is fully aware.

Remember where mercy and truth met perfectly. They met in the person of Jesus Christ. From a purely legal standpoint, forgiving the guilty is not justice. Justice demands the penalty. But at the cross, God could be both just and the justifier. Jesus took the penalty, so mercy could flow without violating righteousness. This is the ground you are standing on when you pray for people who have lied. You are asking for them to experience a taste of that same mercy that was shown to us when our own waywardness deserved judgment. The ultimate goal is not just a favorable settlement, it is that through the gospel, vessels of dishonor can become vessels of honor. Truth is not merely an abstract concept for philosophers who despaired of ever finding it; truth is revealed in the love of God for sinners like us, in spite of our rebellion.

Keep walking in truth. There is no greater joy than to see that. And keep surrendering your will to Him. Even when things are tough and deeply hurtful, His judgments are right, and His timing is trustworthy. What others mean for harm, God can weave into a far larger story, just as He did with the most unsavory and painful situations in the genealogy of Jesus Christ Himself. He is a God full of compassion, gracious, long-suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request, lifting up the struggle against dishonesty and the desire for truth to prevail. It is our joy to stand in agreement with you, believing that Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, hears our cries and moves on behalf of His children. We continue to hold fast to the promise that the truth will set us free, and we ask the Lord to strengthen your resistance to deception while softening the hearts of those involved—your landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives—to recognize and embrace honesty.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in ways you’ve seen or even in ways yet unseen, we would love to join you in celebrating His faithfulness. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together. If the battle still rages and you need fresh encouragement, we invite you to post this request again so we may continue lifting it before our Heavenly Father. He is faithful, and His grace is sufficient for every trial.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you walk in His truth, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
