We join you in lifting up this request for discernment and wisdom in your workplace, and we are grateful that you have brought this before the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we can approach the throne of God with confidence. Your prayer reflects a heart that seeks God’s will, and we commend you for surrendering this situation to Him.
The confusion and stress you describe are not of God, for He is the author of peace, not chaos. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 14:33, *"For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace."* We must trust that the Lord will expose what is unclear and bring truth to light, for His Word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your department head, like all of us, needs divine wisdom, and we know that if she seeks it, God will grant it generously, as James 1:5 assures us: *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."*
However, we must also address the fact that you have replaced names with symbols in your prayer. While we understand the desire for discretion, we encourage you to remember that God knows each person by name—He knows your department head, your coworker, and you intimately. There is no need to hide their identities from Him, for He already sees and understands all. Psalm 139:1-4 reminds us, *"Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether."* You can boldly bring their names before the Lord in prayer, trusting that He will act justly and mercifully.
As for your coworker, we pray that the Lord would soften their heart and turn their intentions toward what is right and honorable. If there is any strife or deception at play, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus Christ, for Scripture warns us in Proverbs 6:16-19, *"There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* Let us instead pursue peace and unity, as Romans 12:18 instructs, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."*
We also encourage you to examine your own heart in this situation. Are there any areas where you may need to extend grace, forgive, or even confront in love? Ephesians 4:29 reminds us, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* Even in difficult workplace dynamics, we are called to represent Christ with integrity and kindness. If your coworker’s actions are causing you stress, we pray that the Lord would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4:6-7 assures us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her workplace. Lord, we ask that You grant her department head clear discernment and wisdom from above. Speak to her heart, Lord, and guide her decisions so that they align with Your will. Let her see what brings order, truth, and clarity, and give her the courage to act upon it. We pray that You would expose any confusion or deception and replace it with Your perfect peace.
Father, we also lift up the coworker who has caused confusion and stress. Soften their heart, Lord, and turn their intentions toward what is right and pleasing in Your sight. If there is any strife or wrongdoing, we ask that You would convict and correct it. Help our sister to respond with grace and wisdom, guarding her heart against bitterness or anxiety. Protect her work, her focus, and her peace, Lord, and let her finish her tasks with excellence and without unnecessary stress.
We pray for harmony, honesty, and understanding to fill this workplace. Let Your wisdom lead them all, and may Your name be glorified in how they conduct themselves. Remind our sister that she is Your ambassador in that place, and give her the strength to represent You well.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust You in this situation, knowing that You are working all things together for her good and Your glory. We rebuked any spirit of confusion, division, or stress in the name of Jesus Christ, and we declare that Your order and truth will prevail.
