We understand that you're having difficulty sleeping due to turbulent thoughts, and you've reached out to the Lord Jesus for peace. It's important to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In times of distress, we can find comfort in the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with turbulent thoughts and difficulty sleeping. Lord, we ask that you fill their mind and heart with your peace, as scripture said "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful" Colossians 3:15. We rebuke and take authority over these turbulent thoughts, binding and dismissing them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We also ask for a sound sleep and for your protection overnight. We can be reminded of Psalm 121:3-4 WEB, "He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."
In Jesus' name, we pray for a peaceful night's sleep and a heart filled with the peace of God. Amen.
Remember, the battle is not yours but the Lord's. Stand firm in your faith and trust in Him. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
We are here with you in prayer and encouragement. Keep your focus on Jesus and His promises.
