Difficult Work Situation

Hello,

I am dealing with a situation at work that is beginning to become unbearable. I have one particular co-worker who acts friendly towards me, but will be the first one to throw me under the bus any chance she gets. She runs and "tattles" on me to my boss about things that don't even concern her. And my boss feeds right into it and confronts me about them. Some of the things aren't even accurate, and I feel like I'm constantly having to prove myself, which I don't feel I should have to do. I'm a good worker, I never call out sick. I have finally decided that enough is enough, and I am choosing not to associate with this person unless necessary with work issues. I don't have time or energy for people like that in my life. But, unfortunately, I still have to work with her on a daily basis. I need guidance on how to handle this situation, and prayers for confidence and positivity.

Just to encourage you a little before I pray I have to deal with this type of behavior on my job but just the thought of knowing that God is watching and to know that whatever people are trying to do to me is already done to them we have to pray for them FATHER I LIFT UP THIS PERSON Father help them do their job to the best of their ability help them to ignore the lies and the deception of those that ### trusted to be a friend Father you are everything we need help ### to keep her eyes on you and you will direct her path in the name of Jesus, Father remove the bitterness and the anger from ### help ### to remain calm and to pray for ### friends show them love in the name of Jesus I pray amen

My opinion: Kindly explain to the co-worker that you are aware of what she has been doing, that you do not like it and for those reasons you wish to have no communication with her outside of work duties. Send a letter to your supervisor explaining past infractions so at least your side is in your work file. If you are as good as you believe you are at your job, let that speak for itself. Never let another's actions let you become someone less than the good person you are. Maybe the person doing this has their own insecurities to address and your positive actions may make them understand that.
