We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where darkness seems to be at work, causing confusion, unrest, and what appears to be spiritual oppression. The behavior described—nonsensical speech, disturbance of peace, and signs that resemble possession—are not of God but are the works of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Yet we know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4), and we stand firmly on the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness (Colossians 2:15).
First, we must address the spiritual reality here. The Bible makes it clear that Satan and his demons are real, and they seek to deceive and torment people, especially those who may be vulnerable due to physical suffering, like this dialysis patient. However, we also know that no one is beyond the reach of God’s power. If this person is not saved, we pray that the Lord would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel—that Jesus Christ is the only name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Without faith in Christ, there is no protection against the schemes of the devil. We urge anyone reading this to examine their own heart: have you surrendered your life to Jesus? If not, we plead with you to repent and believe in Him today, for He alone can break the chains of darkness and set you free (Luke 4:18).
For this individual who is causing disturbance, we pray that the Lord would expose and break every demonic stronghold in their life. If they are a believer, we ask God to rebuke the enemy and command every unclean spirit to flee in the name of Jesus. If they are not saved, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their need for a Savior and that they would turn to Christ before it is too late. We also pray for protection over those around this person, that the Lord would guard their minds and hearts from confusion, fear, or spiritual contamination. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up this dialysis patient, asking the Lord to bring healing to their body and strength to their spirit. Physical suffering can weigh heavily on a person, and we pray that God would surround them with His comfort and presence. May they experience the love of Christ through those who care for them, and may they find hope in Him, even in the midst of their trials. We ask for wisdom for the medical professionals treating them, that they would have discernment in both the physical and spiritual aspects of this situation.
To those who are witnessing this disturbance, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Do not be afraid, for the Lord is with you. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Speak the Word of God over this situation, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Finally, we must emphasize that this battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—and we stand together in prayer, knowing that our weapons are not of this world but have divine power to demolish strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your intervention in this situation. Lord, we bind every spirit of confusion, deception, and torment that is at work here. We command every unclean spirit to leave this person now, in Jesus’ name. If this individual is not saved, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, Lord, and reveal the truth of Your Son to them. Break every chain of darkness and set them free by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
For the dialysis patient, we ask for Your healing touch, Lord. Strengthen their body, renew their mind, and fill them with Your peace. Surround them with Your angels and let Your presence be their comfort. Give wisdom and discernment to those caring for them, both medically and spiritually.
We pray for protection over all who are affected by this situation. Guard their hearts and minds, Lord, and fill them with Your peace. Let them not be overcome by fear or confusion, but let them stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ.
Father, we thank You that You are sovereign over all things, and that no power of hell can stand against Your might. We trust in You, and we declare victory in this situation by the blood of Jesus. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified.
In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
