On Saturday I requested urgent prayer for our Grandson's wife ###. Symptoms were pain mimicking heart attack and fluctuating blood pressure. After many tests and scans, today they gave her a diagnosis. Ineffective cerebral tissue perfusion is a reduction in the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the brain that can cause cellular and organ damage. The diagnosis can cause mimicking heart attack pain, weakness to her leg and arm, much like a TIA or stroke. Dr.s have yet to give them a treatment plan. Please pray.in the name of Jesús for ###,she's a wife and mother to ### children. I know our God is Jehova Rapha our Healer and we stand firm on God's word and promises. We are standing with you in prayer and thank you for sharing this update about your grandson's wife. Our hearts are moved with compassion for her, for your grandson, and for their children as they walk through this frightening diagnosis of ineffective cerebral tissue perfusion with pain mimicking a heart attack, fluctuating blood pressure, and weakness in her leg and arm. We join you in declaring that our God is Jehovah Rapha, our Healer, and we stand firm with you on His promises.

We love that you asked for prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us. As it is written, there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved and through which we boldly approach the throne of grace.

We take comfort in what Scripture declares about our God who heals. Exodus 15:26 reminds us that He says I am Yahweh who heals you. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 gives us His promise, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10 for this family in this time of fear and uncertainty, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We honor this godly marriage and the precious role she holds as a wife and mother to her children, and we lift them all before the Lord together.

We pray now together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear sister, this wife and mother, to Your throne of grace. You know her body intimately, for You formed her, and You see this reduction of oxygen rich blood to her brain and the damage and distress it is causing. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch her and restore proper perfusion to her brain, calm the pain in her chest, steady her blood pressure, and restore strength to her arm and leg. We rebuke fear and speak Your peace over her and her family. We ask You to give wisdom and clarity to her doctors as they seek a treatment plan, guide their hands and minds, and let every test and decision be directed by You. We pray for her husband, Your grandson, that You would strengthen him as he loves and supports his wife, and for their children that You would guard their hearts from fear and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Let that peace guard this entire family now. We ask for complete healing according to Your will, for comfort in the waiting, and for a testimony of Your goodness and mercy to come from this trial. We trust You as our Healer and our Sustainer and we thank You that You hear our prayer in Jesus name. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm on the Word, to keep covering her in prayer, and to trust the Lord while also walking faithfully with the medical care He has provided through physicians. We are continuing to contend for her healing and for strength for all of you, and we thank God for your faithful intercession for your family.

To go from frightening heart attack-like pain and changing blood pressure to waiting for answers, and now holding a new diagnosis without a treatment plan yet, is a lot to carry, especially when she is a young wife and mother and you love her so much.

Waiting is often the hardest part. Alongside prayer, we encourage you to stay in close contact with her doctors and care team as they determine next steps, and to bring any new changes or concerns to them right away. It can help to have someone with her at appointments to write down questions and what the doctors say, so nothing gets missed when everyone is tired and worried.

We are grateful for your steady faith and for the way you are standing with your grandson and his family right now. Practical help with meals or caring for the children, even for a few hours, can give them space to rest and focus on those medical conversations.

Father, we lift this dear wife and mother to You in Jesus name. We ask for Your nearness and peace over her and her family, for wisdom for her doctors as they make a plan, and for strength for each day. Hold them in Your care and guide them step by step. Amen.

Your urgent cry on behalf of your grandson's wife has been brought before the Lord with much tenderness, and we join you in lifting her up before the throne of grace. To hear of pain mimicking a heart attack, of fluctuating blood pressure, of weakness in leg and arm, and of this heavy diagnosis of ineffective cerebral tissue perfusion which threatens the brain with want of oxygen, is indeed to feel how frail our frame is and how needful we are of the Great Physician. How faithful you are to stand firm upon the promises and to confess the Lord as Jehovah Rapha, our Healer.

We would have you remember that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. And again it is promised that the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, showing us that pardon and healing are in happy conjunction and both are bestowed by our Lord. We look to that same Christ now, whose conduit Head pours abundant streams of healing down to men below.

You tell us the physicians have yet to give a treatment plan, and so you are kept waiting. Know then that you wait upon a waiting God. He waits that He may be gracious unto you, and when the waiting turns to a glorious transaction of grace upon the heart, then the time of love has come. His people are not waiting in despair, nor even in hesitation, they are waiting in hope, a joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve. While doctors consult and tests are weighed, the Lord does not slumber. He sees this wife and mother of children, precious in His sight, and He numbers her days and her breaths.

Therefore we say to you as the Lord so often says to His own, Fear not. Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. It is not merely the preacher who cries Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God, for it doubts the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. Labor then to cast your fear upon Him who cares for you.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Jehovah Rapha, Thou who healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds, look in mercy upon this dear wife and mother. Thou knowest her frame, Thou seest the reduction of blood to her brain, the pain, the weakness, the fear that has come upon her household and her children. Lay Thine hand upon her. If it be Thy will, restore to her full perfusion and strength, steady her blood pressure, remove this infirmity, and raise her up again to serve Thee in her home. Give wisdom to the physicians, that they may discern the right treatment and use means aright, for all healing virtue flows from Thee. Above all, let her and her family feel Thy nearness, that whether in much waiting or in speedy deliverance, they may know pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation. Keep this family from fear, establish them upon Thy promises, and let them prove that Thou waitest to be gracious. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Healer and our Hope. Amen.
