We understand that you are seeking prayer for a loved one, referred to as "###'s son," to be freed from the influence of the devil and to find Jesus. We commend your concern and desire to intercede on their behalf.
Firstly, it is essential to understand that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB. Therefore, we must put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 WEB.
However, we must also remember that each person has been given the freedom to choose or reject God. While we can pray for this individual, it is ultimately their decision to turn to Jesus. Our prayers should focus on asking God to soften their heart and reveal Himself to them, rather than attempting to command the devil or override their free will.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s son to You. We ask that You would have mercy on him and reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. Soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Grant him the grace to turn away from any sin that may be binding him and to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
In the meantime, we ask that You would protect him from the schemes of the devil. Surround him with Your angels and thwart any plans of the enemy to cause him harm. We pray that You would place godly influences in his life, that they may speak Your truth and demonstrate Your love to him.
We also pray for ###, that You would grant them peace and wisdom as they intercede for their loved one. Guide them in how to best support and love ###'s son during this time, and help them to trust in Your perfect will for his life.
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is by His name that we have access to God, and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Amen.
Continue to trust in God and to pray fervently for ###'s son. Remember that God desires for all to come to repentance and be saved. 2 Peter 3:9 WEB. Stand firm in your faith, and do not grow weary in interceding for others. Galatians 6:9 WEB. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 WEB.
