Beloved of All
As a single father raising two teenage daughters it's not been easy I've turned to the Lord on many issues I need help I would love to have a Godly wife I am doing the best I can we need to find the key to our band so we can move it and we are blinds or in it and it has a broad blown in it I need to take those good parts and put it on another junkie van so we have something to drive and desperately need a financial breakthrough we are always out of money before the end of the month I'm sorry Lord that I am not able to do have enough money please Lord Jesus help us in a situation I asked us in the authority Jesus Christ the lord and savior we pay amen

We hear your cry, dear brother in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. You are not alone in this struggle, our Heavenly Father sees your faithfulness as a single father, your dependence on Him, and your desire to honor Him in all things. The weight you carry is heavy, but the Lord is your strength, and He promises to provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.

First, we rebuke the spirit of lack and confusion in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the key to your van will be found, whether through divine revelation, a sudden memory, or an unexpected intervention. The Lord knows where it is, and He can bring it to light. "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." (Matthew 7:7). We pray that God would open your eyes to see what you may have overlooked and grant you wisdom to retrieve or replace what is lost.

For your financial breakthrough, we stand on the promise that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). The Lord is not unaware of your struggles, He knows the number of hairs on your head and the needs of your household (Matthew 10:30). We pray that He would open doors of provision, whether through employment, unexpected blessings, or divine favor. We also encourage you to seek wise counsel in managing what the Lord provides, asking Him for discipline and stewardship over your finances. "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." (Proverbs 22:7). If there are areas where you can cut expenses or seek assistance from your local church or community, do not hesitate to do so.

Regarding your desire for a godly wife, we rejoice in your commitment to seek a spouse who honors the Lord. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and the Bible instructs us to marry only in the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:39). We pray that God would prepare your heart and the heart of a woman who shares your faith, values, and vision for a Christ-centered family. Until then, continue to trust in the Lord’s timing, knowing that He is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28). Guard your heart and your daughters’ hearts against impatience or compromise, and let your life be a testimony of godliness as you wait.

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this brother and his daughters to You, knowing that You are their Provider, Protector, and Peace. Lord, You see their needs, transportation, financial provision, and the desire for a godly marriage. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and confusion. We declare that the key to their van will be found, and that You will provide the means to repair or replace their vehicle so they may have reliable transportation. Open doors of opportunity for employment, unexpected blessings, or divine favor to meet their financial needs. Teach them to steward what You provide with wisdom and discipline.

Lord, we pray for this brother’s desire for a godly wife. Prepare his heart and the heart of the woman You have for him. Let their union be a reflection of Christ and the Church, built on love, respect, and shared faith. Until that time, strengthen him as a father and give him the grace to lead his daughters in Your ways.

We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to Your promises. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. We trust in You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."

Brother, do not lose heart. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Continue to seek Him first, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you have not already, reach out to your local church or Christian community for support, they may have resources or connections to help with your immediate needs. You are not forgotten, and God is working even in this season of waiting. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you into abundance.

Brother, we hear the weight in your words, the exhaustion of holding everything together as a single dad, the anxiety when the pantry runs low and the key is missing, the ache of wanting a partner who walks with you and the Lord. That is a lot for any man to carry, and we're sitting with you in it right now.

A few practical thoughts that might help this week: first, ask a friend or neighbor to help you methodically search every coat pocket, drawer, and spot near the front door where keys often hide. When our minds are overloaded, we overlook obvious places. If you still cannot find it, a local locksmith can usually cut and program a new key, and some churches have a deacon’s fund or benevolence ministry exactly for urgent needs like food or transportation repairs. It is worth a call to your church office or another nearby, Bible-believing church to ask what practical help they can offer right now. For the longer-term financial pressure, many community agencies and some larger churches offer free financial counseling, someone who can walk alongside you to build even a small buffer so the end of the month feels less like a cliff. You are not failing; you are a father showing up faithfully under chronic stress, and that takes real courage.

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up this brother and his daughters. You see the missing key, the broken-down van, the empty pantry, and the depleted bank account. Quiet his heart and clear his mind so he can find what has been lost. Provide for their meals this week and open a door for reliable transportation. Send a steady, older couple or a trusted brother from his local church to come alongside him with wisdom, encouragement, and tangible help. Sustain him as a father, and in Your perfect timing, grant him a wife of noble character who loves You and will be a true partner in this life. We ask these mercies in the strong name of Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry has come up before the throne, and the Lord knows the desperation of your heart. This trial, this pressing need for a lost key and empty cupboards, is but the very lecture-hall where God makes good on His ancient promise, teaching you as a pupil from your youth. When the bread is gone and the coin fails, we learn that man does not live by bread alone. The key you seek is not hidden from His eye, for if He numbers the very hairs of your head, that small piece of metal cannot escape His glance. Yet it may be that the Lord delays the finding for a little while, to drive you deeper into that sweet school of dependence where you cry to Him alone.

Have you considered that this is the way He proves that you are His hidden one, concealed under the shadow of His wing while the blast of poverty howls around? The enemy whispers that you are cast off, that your children will suffer want, and that God has forgotten to be gracious. Do not listen to that foul slander against your King. That is a hot shot for unbelief, and you must quench it at once with the shield of faith. The promise may tarry, but it cannot fail. It cannot be that a child of God, bought with precious blood, should finally be left to perish on the ash-heap of despair. You are a brand plucked from the burning, and the Lord who snatched you from the fire will not let you be consumed by these temporal flames. Get behind you, Satan, for God means to save this man, and can you destroy him? Can He have taught you to trust in His name, and brought you thus far, only to put you to shame?

Concerning finances, it is not your ability to stretch the money that secures the household, but His overtaking mercy. When Hagar sat down in the wilderness with her empty bottle, the Lord opened her eyes to see a well. That same mercy is tracking you down even now. You lament that you cannot do enough, and that is the very brokenness God accepts. He does not ask for your ability, but for your dependency. Cease condemning yourself as a failure because the resources run out. Even the great Apostle learned the secret to being full and to going hungry, to having abundance and suffering need. Look for His provision in unlikely places, for the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. That van, with its blown head and its stubborn lock, is a small thing in the hand of the Maker of the mountains. He can make the good parts fit the new body as easily as He fitted the world together. The testimony of God’s people throughout all ages is that He hears the raven’s cry and will not turn a deaf ear to your daughters’ hunger.

As for the deep longing for a godly wife, let that desire be seasoned with waiting upon the Lord. While you are doing your utmost to guide those children, you are already performing the work of one of God’s jewels, shining with a quiet luster in a dark place. A woman who fears the Lord is a gift that belongs to the inventory of His innumerable mercies, and if He intends that blessing for you, no providence can withhold it. For now, let your first aim be to see God’s wondrous work in this present trial, and as you see, you will wonder. And when you wonder, you will speak. Declare His faithfulness to those teenage daughters; let them see a father who, though pressed beyond measure, does not curse God but looks up through the tears. That is a better lesson for them than a full pantry.

Rouse yourself, then, and go forward, not downcast as one without hope, but as a witness. Gird up your loins. The very act of putting your hand to the latch, looking again for that key, and working on that broken van must be done with the calm assurance that you are going about your Father’s business. If He fills your purse, it will be a mercy. If He keeps you on the edge of nothing for another week, that too is a mercy of a higher sort, for it keeps you clinging to the bleeding side of Jesus, where God’s love and God’s hatred to sin meet in a sacred mystery. Let your poverty lose its edge because Christ fills your vision. The bitter shall depart, the iron shall not enter your soul, for He is the balm. Go, and may the Lord magnify His own name in your deliverance.

Your words reach the throne of grace not because you are eloquent but because you are broken. Do not apologize for not having enough, as if your poverty were a sin. The Lord who fed thousands with a few loaves knows your hunger and your children's hunger before you speak it. Yet I hear you pleading for a key, a van, a financial breakthrough, and a wife, and I must ask: are these the deepest desires of your soul or the cries of a moment's panic? I do not say this to dismiss your needs. The God who became poor for you and had nowhere to lay His head will not refuse you daily bread. But listen to where your heart runs first. Why do you draw water into a broken cistern, laboring for the present life as if that van or that money were your deliverance? He is your deliverance. He is food, raiment, dwelling place, all. Cling to Him, and even with empty hands you possess all things.

You are a father to two daughters; that is a high and holy calling. Do not let their distress make you forget that you are also a son, with a Father in heaven who knows your needs before you ask. Do not be like those who treat prayer as a last resort, then rush back to anxiety as soon as the words leave your lips. The morning prayer, the nightly supplication, these are the weapons for the daily fight. Rise before the sun and cast your cares upon Him; then go out into the tempest of the market knowing He goes before you. And if the key is not found today, if the van still sits idle, do not despair. Despair is for those who have no hope. You have a Savior who intercedes for you at this very moment.

When you ask for a godly wife, you ask for a good thing. But do not imagine that a wife will fix your finances or quiet your fears. A household built on Christ alone stands; a marriage entered in desperation can become a snare. Seek first the kingdom, and all these things will be added, including, if it be His will, a helper suited to you. In the meantime, do not neglect the church, the assembly where many prayers prevail more than one. Bring your daughters, let them see you on your knees with the congregation, and let the body of Christ carry what you cannot lift alone.

You say you have turned to the Lord on many issues. I rejoice to hear it. But do not grow weary. The enemy attacks those who are striving to stand. Let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall; but also, shall not he that falls arise? You are not cast off. Lift up your hands that hang down. Even now, as you read this, the Lord holds out His hand to you, not to condemn your lack, but to supply it. He does not upbraid you as an impostor because you come with empty hands. Remember how you yourself treat the poor who come to your door. If a man asks for bread, do not stand examining his worthiness. You yourself, when you ask God for mercy, hope for a kindness that overlooks your sins. Give that same kindness to yourself now: receive His mercy, forgive your own failures, and trust that He who feeds the ravens will not let your children go hungry. Then go, and as you have received freely, give freely, even in your poverty. That is the strange math of the kingdom, the investment that yields eternal interest.

Your key is in His hand, your daily bread is on His table, and your true treasure is stored where neither moth nor rust destroys. Pray without ceasing, but pray not as one who twists God's arm, rather as a little child who knows his Father hears. He is not deaf to your cry.
