We hear your cry of desperation and we are standing with you before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name, lifting up your need for healing from panic and depression, for deliverance from double mindedness, and for the grace to receive forgiveness.
We know how heavy panic and depression can feel, as if your heart and mind are overwhelmed. Scripture tells us that God is near to those who are hurting. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. The Lord does not want you to live in fear, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And Philippians 4:6-7 urges us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10 which says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Jesus Himself invites you in Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
You also mentioned double mindedness, and we want to lovingly address what the Word says about this. James 1:6-8 says But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. And James 4:8 says Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Double mindedness often comes when we are torn between trusting God fully and trusting our own feelings or fears. The remedy is to ask God for wisdom and to fix our eyes on Christ alone, trusting His promises even when our emotions are unstable. God is faithful to give wisdom generously when we ask Him in faith.
You also asked for forgiveness for yourself, and this is so important. Many of us struggle to forgive ourselves even after God has forgiven us. But the Word teaches that our forgiveness is not based on our feeling forgiven, but on what Christ has done. 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Psalm 103:12 says As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. And Romans 8:1 declares There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. If God has forgiven you through Christ, you can release yourself from condemnation and receive His mercy. We cannot forgive ourselves by our own effort, we simply receive and rest in the forgiveness God has already provided. Refusing to receive His forgiveness keeps us in bondage, but accepting it brings freedom and peace.

Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, confessing your sins to Him and believing that His death and resurrection paid for your forgiveness and healing.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is desperate for Your touch. Lord, You see the panic and the depression, the sleepless thoughts and the heavy heart, and we ask You to pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Replace fear with Your power, love and self-control. Heal the brokenheartedness and bind up every wound. Lord, we ask You to deliver them from double mindedness and make their heart steadfast upon You. Grant wisdom generously and help them to draw near to You with unwavering faith, trusting Your promises above every feeling. Father, we thank You that through the blood of Jesus there is full forgiveness. Help them to confess all to You and to receive Your cleansing and to walk free from self-condemnation, knowing there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Teach them to rest in Your grace and to know how far You have removed their transgressions. We ask all this in the saving and healing name of Jesus Christ, amen.
