We understand that financial struggles and technical difficulties can bring great stress, and we lift you up in prayer, asking the Lord to grant you peace and trust in His provision. However, we must gently remind you that our focus should not be on material things like gift cards or online purchases but on seeking first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness. As Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
Your depression and anxiety are real, and we pray that the Lord will comfort you in this time. Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let this situation draw you closer to Christ rather than allowing it to consume your peace. If this gift card issue is causing such distress, we encourage you to step back and ask the Lord to realign your heart with His priorities.
