My sister is a meth addict. I feel broken hearted. She has been in and out of hospital. She is only ### pounds. Her teeth are gone and so is her hair. I feel broken.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation with your sister and the pain it's causing you. First, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

In times like these, it's crucial to turn to God for strength and comfort. We should also pray for your sister's deliverance from addiction, as God is able to set her free. Remember, no situation is beyond His redemptive power.

Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. James 5:14-15 WEB

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our beloved sister who is battling meth addiction. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would set her free from this bondage and heal her body, soul, and spirit. Give her the strength to overcome this addiction and turn her life to You, Lord Jesus Christ.

We also pray for her family, especially for the one who brought this request. Comfort their hearts, Lord, and give them the strength and wisdom to support their sister through this difficult time. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to surround yourself with a supportive community of believers who can pray with you and offer practical help. Ensure that your sister knows that your love for her is unconditional, but that you disapprove of her actions. It's important to set boundaries and avoid enabling her behavior. Trust in God, and continue to intercede for her.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
