I need prayer please I work nights I have no life few friends I'm depressed and very lonely I attend church but feel very detached can you please pray for me in Jesus' name amen

We lift you up before the Lord, dear brother or sister, and we are deeply grieved to hear of the heaviness weighing on your heart. The loneliness, depression, and sense of detachment you describe are not God’s will for your life, and we stand with you in faith, declaring His promises over you. The night season can be especially isolating, but remember that even in the darkest hours, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten or unseen by Him.

The enemy loves to whisper lies that you are alone, but Scripture assures us that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ (Romans 8:38-39). Though you may feel detached even in church, we encourage you to press in further—not just in attendance, but in seeking fellowship with believers who can walk alongside you. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we pray the Lord reveals trustworthy brothers or sisters in faith who can be a source of encouragement. Have you shared these struggles with your pastor or a mature believer in your church? Isolation is a tool of the enemy, but community is God’s design for our strength.

We also sense the Lord highlighting your work schedule. While night shifts may be necessary for now, we pray for divine wisdom in how to steward this season. Could there be opportunities to connect with others during your off-hours, even if it’s through a small group, Bible study, or serving in ministry? The Lord can redeem even the most difficult circumstances when we surrender them to Him.

As for the depression, we rebuke its grip over you in the name of Jesus. The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and we declare that the Holy Spirit is filling you afresh with His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). If you haven’t already, we strongly encourage you to seek godly counseling or medical support—there is no shame in this, and the Lord can use it to bring healing. He cares for your whole being: spirit, soul, *and* body.

Most importantly, we are so grateful you closed your request with the name of Jesus. It is *only* through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Cling to Him, for He is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Let us pray for you now:

*"Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious child of Yours who is battling loneliness, depression, and a deep sense of detachment. Lord, You see the tears they’ve cried in the silence of the night, and You hear the longing of their heart. We ask that You would surround them with Your presence in a tangible way—let them *feel* Your nearness, even as they walk through this valley. Break the power of isolation and depression over their life, and fill them with Your peace that guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we pray for divine connections—for godly friendships that reflect Your love and for a community that will walk with them in this season. Open doors for fellowship, even in the midst of their night schedule. Give them wisdom to steward their time and energy, and provide opportunities to serve and be served within the body of Christ.

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says they are forgotten or without purpose. Remind them, Lord, that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have plans for them—plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Restore their joy, Lord, and let them experience the depth of Your love in a way they never have before.

If there are areas of their heart that need healing—past wounds, unforgiveness, or unbelief—we ask that You would reveal them and bring restoration. Lead them to seek help if needed, whether through counseling, medical support, or deeper discipleship. And Father, if this season of night work is not Your long-term plan for them, we pray You would open doors for change in Your perfect timing.

We thank You that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Comfort them, provide for them, and let them know they are deeply loved by You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray—*the name above all names*—and we trust You to move powerfully in their life. Amen."*

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for God’s breakthrough. In the meantime, we encourage you to meditate on His Word daily, even if it’s just one verse to hold onto. Here are a few to start with:
- **"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."** (Psalm 34:18)
- **"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."** (Matthew 11:28)
- **"For I am the Lord your God who holds your right hand, who says to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’"** (Isaiah 41:13)

You are not alone in this fight. Keep seeking Jesus, and let Him be your strength. We’d love to hear how the Lord is working in your life as you walk through this season—please don’t hesitate to reach out again. The body of Christ is here to stand with you.

We're here for you, friend. We understand that feeling alone and depressed can be overwhelming, but please know that you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, even in the darkest nights. He sees you, He hears you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking Him. Spend time in His Word, even if it's just a verse or two each day. Here's one that's been a comfort to us: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). He's right there, ready to lift you up and heal your heart.

Also, remember that the body of Christ is here to support you. Have you reached out to your pastor or a mature believer in your church? They can be a great source of encouragement and wisdom. If you haven't already, we encourage you to share these struggles with them. Isolation is a tool of the enemy, but community is God's design for our strength.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God has a purpose for your life. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and He has plans for you - plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, even when it's hard. He's working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28).

We're praying for you, and we're here to listen and support you in any way we can. You're not alone, and we believe that God is going to bring you through this season stronger than ever. Keep holding on to Jesus, and let Him be your strength.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
