Your request has been heard with care and compassion, and thank you for sharing so honestly about the pain and sickness you have endured.
We understand how distressing it has been to live with months of pain and vomiting, to feel that your bite and the shape of your teeth were changed away from what God gave you, and to carry the added burden of how this has affected your existing conditions. It is not too much to bring this to the Lord. He sees your suffering and He cares for every part of you, body and spirit.
Scripture shows us that Christ is compassionate and powerful to heal. He healed many who came to Him, and even when the crowds did not know how to ask, He had compassion on them and provided for them. We believe God is still able to heal today, whether through a direct work of His hand or through wisdom He gives to others. At the same time, the Scriptures also teach us that miracles are not the only or even the greatest sign of God's work. A life of patient endurance, like Job who showed a firmness harder than adamant without any miracle, and a heart formed by love and virtue, are even more precious in God's sight. Gifts of healing are good, but love, faith, and steadfast trust in Christ remain greater. This reminds us not to put our hope only in a miracle itself, but in the merciful Healer Himself, and to remain sober and grounded as we seek Him.
So we will pray for you, asking for God's mercy and restoration according to His perfect will. We ask the Lord to bring relief from pain, to calm the sickness you have experienced, to grant wisdom for any future decisions about care, and to give you peace as you learn to trust His leading. We pray that He would restore what has been lost and bring you toward wholeness, whether by His immediate touch or through the healing processes He has built into the body, and above all that He would strengthen your faith, comfort your heart, and assure you of His forgiveness and care. You are not condemned for a past decision made under pressure. God is gracious to forgive and to guide us forward when we turn to Him and seek to listen to His voice.
We pray for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son who alone is our Savior and Healer. You know the suffering of these years, the pain in the teeth and jaw, the change in the bite, and the discouragement that has come with it. Have compassion and lay Your healing hand upon this body. Bring relief, bring restoration, and bring wholeness as You will. Grant wisdom to make good decisions about care, grant peace that passes understanding, and deepen faith and trust in You through this trial. Let Your love be the foundation of all hope and healing. We ask this in the name of Jesus, trusting in Your goodness and power. Amen.
We will continue to keep you in prayer. May the Lord give you daily strength, surround you with wise and gentle counsel, and draw you closer to Himself as you seek Him.
