We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, but we are thankful that you have reached out to us and called on the name of Jesus. It is only in His name that we have access to God and can find true help and comfort. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." and in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Firstly, we want to address the stress and worry you are experiencing. We are reminded in Matthew 6:31-34 WEB "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
Instead of worrying, let us turn our focus to God and trust in His provision. Psalm 55:22 WEB tells us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." or in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Regarding your living situation, we are called to trust in God's timing and plan. Even if you may have to leave your apartment, remember that God has a place for you. In Psalm 91:1-2 WEB "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" God will make a way, as we trust in Him.
The previous toxic work environment may have been damaging, but we encourage you to trust in God's healing and restoration. Isaiah 53:5 WEB tells us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the stress and worry that have been weighing heavily on their heart and mind. We ask that You would grant them Your supernatural peace, that surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as it says in Philippians 4:7.
Father, we ask for Your provision and guidance regarding their living situation. If it is Your will for them to remain in their apartment, we pray that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. If it is Your will for them to move, we ask that You would guide them to the place You have prepared for them.
We also pray for complete healing and restoration from the effects of the toxic work environment. Lord, heal their mind, emotions, and body, and help them to focus and concentrate on the good plans You have for their life.
In all things, Father, we ask that Your will be done and that our brother/sister would grow in their faith and trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
