Demonized ###

Faithful Servant
My mother is severely demonized. I'm not just saying it to be superstitious. Other people have noted that there is something seriously wrong with her that has spiritual origins. There are also multiple factors in her life that caused this. My mother's behavior recently has been a nightmare and I believe it may have started when I came into some money recently. But honestly in recent months, especially when I started working for the first time, Satan has been using her heavily. My mother's demonization has caused severe behavioral and mental problems in her life which affect her relationships negatively. For someone who doesn't understand that there is something spiritually wrong with her, she just seems to be an extreme narcissist to those who see her behavioral problems come out. But as a Christian, I understand what is really happening to her. Part of the result of my mother's demonization and subsequent behavioral/mental problems is financial abuse. She has been financially abusive to everyone close to her as long as I've been born. She used to steal the money I'd save up as a child from me. Recently, I came into money and immediately, that financially abusive side came out to the point that she will throw tantrums if I say I won't buy her anything. It is horrible. She started to behave so spoiled and awful. Tonight, I bought some products to clean the house because I want to clean our home and make it nice. Both of my parents seem to have problems with cleanliness (my dad has some of the same problems as my mom in terms of demonization and behavioral/mental problems; both of them had similar lives). I was never taught about how to clean a house or even keep myself clean properly. I am now trying to learn those things as an adult while caring for my parents. In recent months, it's like God is trying to lead me into learning these things for some reason. I just went and mopped my parents' bathroom and my bathroom. I even cleaned my parents' bathroom more than my own. My mom came and saw what I had done after I finished and immediately started criticizing everything and saying I've done things wrong. This kind of behavior is not unusual for her when she is having episodes like how she has been behaving recently. Again, if I didn't know any better, I would just think she was a terrible narcissist but I do know what's really going on. I really need space from her. I'm trying not to get upset. Please pray for me because all things considered, this is abuse and I have been experiencing this from her my entire life. Thank you.

We hear the deep pain and spiritual warfare you are enduring, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain of darkness over your mother’s life and your family. The enemy has no right to torment her or manipulate circumstances to bring financial abuse, emotional destruction, or division in your home. We rebuke every demonic spirit of greed, control, narcissism, and uncleanness in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We take our stand on this promise, declaring that every demonic influence over your mother must flee now in Jesus’ name.

The financial abuse you describe is a direct attack from the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy—just as Jesus warned in John 10:10. It is not God’s will for you to be exploited or manipulated, especially by your own mother. We pray that the Lord would break the spirit of poverty and entitlement that has taken root in her life and replace it with a spirit of generosity, gratitude, and godly stewardship. Proverbs 22:7 says, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." Your mother’s behavior reflects a heart that has been hardened by the enemy, but we know that God is able to soften even the hardest of hearts. We ask the Holy Spirit to convict her of sin and lead her to repentance.

Your efforts to clean and bring order to your home are not in vain. The enemy thrives in chaos, but God is a God of order, as seen in 1 Corinthians 14:33, "For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace." The fact that you are stepping into this role—learning to care for your home and your parents—is evidence of God’s grace working in you. Do not be discouraged by your mother’s criticism. Jesus Himself faced rejection and misunderstanding, even from those closest to Him. Isaiah 53:3 reminds us, "He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain." You are walking in His footsteps, and He sees your sacrifice.

We also lift up your father in prayer. The demonic influences affecting him must be broken as well. We declare that the spirit of confusion, uncleanness, and rebellion operating in both of your parents will be shattered by the power of the blood of Jesus. Psalm 91:6 says, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday." We claim this protection over your family, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

You have expressed a need for space, and we affirm that this is a healthy and necessary boundary. Even Jesus withdrew from the crowds to pray and seek the Father’s presence (Luke 5:16). You cannot pour from an empty cup, and the enemy would love to wear you down with guilt or obligation. But remember, Galatians 6:5 says, "For each man will bear his own burden." You are not responsible for your mother’s salvation or her behavior—only for your own response to the Lord. We pray that God would provide you with wisdom, strength, and opportunities to create healthy distance while still honoring your parents as Scripture commands (Exodus 20:12).

We also want to address the spiritual authority you carry as a believer. You are not powerless in this situation. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." You have the right to command every demonic spirit to leave your mother in the name of Jesus. We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and declare the victory of Christ over your home. The enemy may roar like a lion, but 1 Peter 5:8-9 tells us to "be sober and self-controlled; be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith."

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name. We thank You that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister and their family to You. We ask that You would break every chain of demonic oppression over their mother and father. We rebuke the spirits of greed, control, narcissism, and uncleanness, and we command them to leave now in Jesus’ name. We declare that Your light will shine into the darkness of their home, and that Your peace will reign where there has been chaos.

Father, we ask that You would protect this brother/sister from the emotional and financial abuse they have endured. Give them wisdom to set healthy boundaries and the strength to stand firm in their faith. Provide them with opportunities to create space for themselves, and surround them with godly community that can offer support and encouragement. Lord, we pray that You would heal their heart from the wounds of the past and fill them with Your love and peace.

We also pray for their mother. Holy Spirit, we ask that You would convict her of sin and draw her to repentance. Soften her heart, Lord, and break the strongholds that have taken root in her life. We declare that she will come to know the truth of Your Word and the freedom that is found in Christ. Father, we ask that You would restore her mind, her emotions, and her spirit, and that she would turn to You with all her heart.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your promises, and we declare that victory is ours through Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in His precious and powerful name. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in this battle. You are not alone, and the victory has already been won through the cross of Christ. Keep pressing into God’s presence, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). The enemy may have had a foothold for a season, but his time is limited, and his power is nothing compared to the authority you carry in Jesus’ name. Stand firm, and watch God move.

Dear friend, we're right there with you, feeling the weight of your mother's struggles and the financial strain it's causing. It's like you're in a storm, and you're trying to clean up the mess while being lashed by the wind and rain. But remember, even in the eye of a storm, there's a moment of calm. That's what we're praying for - a moment of peace and clarity for you and your mother.

We're asking God to shine His light into your home, to expose the darkness and bring understanding. We're praying for your mother's heart to soften, for her to see the truth and turn to God. We're also asking for wisdom for you, to know when to stand firm and when to step back, to protect your own heart and mind.

You're not alone in this. We're here with you, lifting you up in prayer. And remember, even Jesus faced rejection and misunderstanding. But He also knew the power of love and forgiveness. Keep loving your mother, keep praying for her, and trust that God is working in her life, even if you can't see it yet.

Keep cleaning, keep learning, and keep trusting. God is with you, and He's not done with your story yet.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you’ve placed in us by sharing such a deeply personal and painful struggle. It is a sacred privilege to stand with you in prayer as you walk through this heavy spiritual battle. We have been lifting your mother before the Lord, asking Him to break every chain of demonic influence in her life and to bring healing to her mind, heart, and relationships. We’ve also prayed fervently for you—for protection over your heart, wisdom in how to respond, and strength to endure this ongoing trial with grace and faith.

We recognize how exhausting and heartbreaking it must be to face this kind of spiritual warfare, especially within your own family. The financial abuse, the criticism, and the lack of peace in your home are not just difficult circumstances; they are attacks from the enemy, and we take that seriously. We’ve asked the Lord to give you discernment to know when to set boundaries, when to extend grace, and when to step back for your own well-being. You mentioned needing space, and we’ve prayed that God would make a way for you to have that—whether through physical separation, emotional distance, or even just moments of quiet refuge in Him.

We’ve also been interceding for your parents’ salvation and deliverance. The enemy has had a foothold in their lives for far too long, and we are asking God to loose His power in ways that only He can. We’ve prayed for breakthrough, for repentance, and for the Holy Spirit to move in their hearts in a way that dismantles every stronghold. And for you, we’ve asked the Lord to continue teaching you—whether it’s about practical things like cleaning a home or deeper truths about His love and provision. It’s no coincidence that God is leading you into new skills and responsibilities; we believe He is equipping you for something greater, even in the midst of this storm.

If the Lord has moved in any way since you posted—whether through a moment of peace, a shift in your mother’s behavior, or even just a fresh measure of strength for you—we would love to hear about it. Your praise reports encourage all of us and remind us that God is still at work, even when we can’t see it. If, however, the battle feels just as intense or even heavier, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing with you in prayer, standing in agreement until the victory is won.

Above all, we pray that you would feel the nearness of Jesus in this season. He sees every tear, every frustration, and every act of love you’ve shown, even when it goes unappreciated. You are not alone in this, and we believe God is using your faithfulness in ways you may not yet understand. May He fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, and may He continue to draw you closer to Himself as you seek Him. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
