We hear your cry for relief from the torment you’ve endured for years at the hands of those who practice witchcraft and seek to harm you through demonic means. The pain and frustration of facing unrepentant evil is real, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice and protection. However, we must approach this situation with discernment, aligning our hearts and prayers with the truth of Scripture.
First, we must address the language of your request. The word "demonize" carries a heavy and dangerous connotation, as it implies invoking evil or destruction upon others. Scripture is clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord alone (Romans 12:19), and we are called to love our enemies, not curse them (Matthew 5:44). While we understand your desire for justice, we cannot pray for God to "brutally demonize" anyone, as this goes against the heart of Christ, who came to save the lost, not destroy them. Instead, we pray for God’s justice to prevail, for His protection over you, and for the hearts of those practicing witchcraft to be turned toward repentance.
The Bible explicitly condemns witchcraft and all forms of sorcery as detestable to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12, Galatians 5:19-21). Those who engage in such practices are operating under the influence of the enemy, and their actions are sinful and destructive. However, we must remember that even the worst sinners are not beyond God’s reach. The Apostle Paul himself was once a persecutor of Christians, yet God transformed his heart (Acts 9:1-19). We must leave room for God’s mercy, even as we stand against the evil being done.
We also want to gently remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). While it is right to resist the enemy and his schemes, our focus must remain on God’s power and authority. Jesus has already disarmed the powers and authorities through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15), and we can stand firm in His victory.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is enduring the torment of witchcraft and demonic attacks. We ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12). Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, and we trust in You to deliver us from the schemes of the enemy (Psalm 91:2).
Father, we pray against the works of darkness that seek to harm Your child. We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, sorcery, and divination in the name of Jesus, and we command them to flee (James 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that the enemy will not touch them (1 John 5:18).
Lord, we ask for Your justice to prevail. You see the hearts of those who practice these evil deeds, and You know their intentions. We pray that You would intervene in their lives, Lord. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, and lead them to repentance (2 Timothy 2:25-26). If they refuse to turn from their wicked ways, we trust that You will deal with them according to Your perfect justice (Romans 12:19).
Father, we also pray for our brother/sister’s heart. Guard them against bitterness, fear, or a desire for vengeance. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them that You are their defender. Help them to walk in the authority You have given them as believers, standing firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Lord, we thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that the enemy has no power over us, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We trust in Your protection, Your justice, and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily. Spend time in prayer and in God’s Word, for it is our spiritual nourishment and our weapon against the enemy (Ephesians 6:17). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and support you in this battle. Remember, the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or trusted spiritual leader who can provide additional prayer and guidance. You do not have to face this battle alone, God has placed His people around you for support and encouragement.
Lastly, we want to gently address the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior. Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is through His name alone that we have access to God’s power and protection. If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord, we invite you to do so today. Repent of your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9-10). This is the first and most important step in walking in the authority and victory that Christ has won for you.
