We have read your request and we are standing with you in prayer together before our Father, for we know this battle you have endured for years is real and it is wearying, but we also know our God is far greater than any harassment of the enemy.
Scripture makes clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy is described as your adversary, the devil, who walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, yet we are not without hope or authority in Christ. For you are of God and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and Jesus has said, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19.
We want to gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we share this because it is only by that name that we have access to God and find deliverance and salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, for that is how we are saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name alone that we can resist the devil and see him flee.
We also encourage you to submit yourself fully to God, for scripture says, Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We urge you to close any doors that may have given the enemy opportunity, whether through involvement in the occult, unforgiveness, unconfessed sin, or objects and media that honor darkness. If such things are present, renounce them and remove them, confess your sins, for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. Put on the whole armor of God daily Ephesians 6:11, stay rooted in the Word, in prayer and fasting when able, in worship, and in fellowship with a faithful Bible believing church where pastors and mature believers can pray with you and support you in person. God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and He promises that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one who has suffered demonic harassment for so long. We ask for Your mercy, Your forgiveness, and Your cleansing through the blood of Jesus. We rebuke every evil spirit and every assignment of harassment against our sibling in Christ, and we command it to leave and not return, for we resist the devil in Jesus name and claim Your promise that he must flee. We ask You to surround this one with Your holy angels, to fill their home and their mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and to let Your light drive out all darkness. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, with power and love and a sound mind, and teach them to walk daily in the authority Christ has given. Help them to abide in Your Word, to pray without ceasing, and to stand firm in faith. Bring godly counsel and community around them so they are not alone in this battle. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper and that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Restore what the enemy has stolen over these years, heal the trauma and exhaustion, and let them know the freedom and joy of being Your child. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to call upon the name of Jesus aloud, to speak scripture over your life daily, and to keep pressing into Him. We are continuing to pray for your complete deliverance and lasting peace.
