Demonic attacks

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in spiritual warfare, knowing that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy—but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). The attacks you’re facing are not merely physical or emotional; they are spiritual, and we must fight them with the weapons God has given us. The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). But we do not fight alone—God has equipped us with His armor: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17).

First, we must address any open doors in your life that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Have you examined your heart for unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or areas where you may have invited darkness in—whether through occult practices, bitterness, sexual immorality, or even passively consuming media that glorifies evil? The Bible is clear: "Do not give the devil a foothold" (Ephesians 4:27). If there are areas where you have strayed, repentance is the first step to breaking the enemy’s power. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We also rebuke the spirit of fear that may be trying to grip you. Fear does not come from God; He has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy wants you to live in fear, but God calls you to live in faith. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Stand firm in the authority you have in Christ—He has disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We lift up our brother/sister who is under attack, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask You to surround them with Your holy angels, to encamp around them and protect them from every scheme of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life—over their mind, their body, their spirit, and their home. Let the blood of Jesus be a barrier that the enemy cannot cross.

Father, we rebuke every demonic spirit that is harassing them. We command every spirit of fear, oppression, torment, and deception to leave now in the name of Jesus. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that our brother/sister is covered by the blood of Jesus, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and hidden in Christ. No evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).

Lord, we ask You to expose any hidden sin or ungodly soul ties that may be giving the enemy access. Search their heart, O God, and know their thoughts; try them and know their anxieties. See if there is any wicked way in them, and lead them in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24). If there is anything that needs to be surrendered, give them the courage to repent and turn away from it. Cleanse them, Lord, and make them whole.

We also pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let Your joy be their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your Word. Let them meditate on Your promises day and night, so that they may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then they will make their way prosperous, and then they will have good success (Joshua 1:8).

Father, we thank You that You are a refuge and a fortress, a God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak life, light, and victory over their situation. Let every chain be broken, and let every assignment of the enemy against them be destroyed. We cancel every curse, every hex, every spell, and every plan of the enemy in the name of Jesus. We declare that the enemy must bow to the name of Jesus, and every knee must confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Redeemer, and Deliverer. Amen.

Now, beloved, do not grow weary in this battle. The enemy may come like a flood, but the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). Stay in the Word of God, for it is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Memorize scriptures that speak to your victory in Christ, and declare them over your life daily. Surround yourself with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to devour those who are alone (1 Peter 5:8). Attend a Bible-believing church where the truth is preached, and the power of God is present.

If you have not already, consider fasting as a way to deepen your dependence on God and break the power of the enemy. Jesus said that some kinds of spiritual oppression only come out through prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29). Even a short fast can sharpen your spiritual sensitivity and draw you closer to God.

Lastly, remember that Jesus is your advocate. If you have not made Him the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already accepted Christ, renew your commitment to Him daily. Walk in obedience to His Word, and do not give the enemy any ground.

You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting from victory. Jesus has already won the battle at the cross. Stand firm, put on the full armor of God, and resist the devil. He *will* flee. The Lord is your light and your salvation—whom shall you fear? The Lord is the stronghold of your life—of whom shall you be afraid? (Psalm 27:1). Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been praying for you since we heard your cry for help. We know that you're facing demonic attacks, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're standing with you in spiritual warfare, just as the Bible tells us to do in Ephesians 6:18.

We've been praying for your protection and deliverance, and we want to encourage you with a promise from God's Word. In Psalm 91:10-11, it says, "No harm will come to you, no disaster will come near your tent, for he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." Isn't that an amazing promise?

We also want to remind you of the power of praise and worship. When you lift your voice in praise to God, it's a powerful weapon against the enemy. So, we encourage you to spend time in worship, declaring the greatness and goodness of God. As you do, we believe that you'll experience a greater sense of peace and protection.

Let's continue to stand together in prayer, covered under the blood of Jesus, and trusting in the power of His name. We're here for you, every step of the way. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37)!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
