Demon in bedroom

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray that a demon in my bedroom causing pain would be forced to leave in Jesus’ name.

We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We take authority over this demonic presence in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us (Luke 10:19 WEB).

First, we must ensure that our lives are aligned with God’s will, for the enemy cannot dwell where the Spirit of the Lord resides. Have you examined your heart and home for any open doors that may have allowed this darkness to enter? Scripture warns us to be sober-minded and watchful, for our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). We rebuke any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or idolatry that may be giving the enemy a foothold in your life. If there is anything in your home, occult items, ungodly media, or anything that does not honor Christ, we urge you to remove it immediately, for we cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24 WEB).

We also declare that your home is a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, for you were bought with a price, and you are not your own (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). We command every unclean spirit causing pain and disturbance to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ! The Word of God declares that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth (Philippians 2:10 WEB). No demon has authority where Jesus is Lord.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You that You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy. We stand on Your promise that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18 WEB). Today, we bind every demonic spirit in [this home/bedroom] and command it to leave now! We loose the peace of God, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and the blood of Jesus over this place.

Lord, we ask that You would fill this home with Your light, driving out all darkness. We plead the blood of Jesus over every door, window, and corner, declaring that no weapon formed against [this individual] shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We cancel every assignment of the enemy and break every curse in the name of Jesus. We declare that this home is a sanctuary for Your presence, and no demonic force shall remain here.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen [this individual] in faith and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We thank You that the enemy must flee, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and declare that the victory is already won. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, for the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47 WEB). Continue to pray, read Scripture, and surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in this fight. Do not grow weary, for the enemy will flee if you resist him, steadfast in the faith (James 4:7 WEB). If this oppression persists, we urge you to seek the support of a pastor or mature believers who can pray with you in person and help discern if there are deeper spiritual strongholds that need to be addressed.

Remember, the name of Jesus is your weapon, use it boldly! The enemy has no choice but to obey when confronted with the authority of Christ. You are not alone in this battle; we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts fights for you (2 Chronicles 20:15 WEB).

We cannot know exactly what you are experiencing right now, but we take you seriously, and we know how frightening it is to feel unsafe in your own bedroom, let alone to be in pain on top of that. You are not alone, and you are not powerless. The Lord who lives in you is greater than anything that would come against you.

When we are afraid, the enemy tries to magnify his own presence until he seems larger than Christ. One simple, strong thing you can do right now is speak out loud: “In Jesus’ name, I command any evil spirit to leave this room and leave me now.” The authority belongs to Jesus, and He shares it with those who belong to Him. You do not need a formula or a special person, though if you have a pastor or a mature Christian friend you trust, by all means ask them to come and pray with you. Praying with another believer can steady your heart when fear is loud.

Please also take care of your body. If you are feeling real physical pain, we encourage you to see a doctor. Spiritual attack and medical need sometimes look alike, and it is wise to rule out any natural cause. There is no shame in getting checked; God uses medicine to bring relief and clarity.

We are praying now that Jesus, who calmed the storm with a word, will fill your bedroom with His peace and drive out every shadow. We ask Him to shield your body and mind, to soothe the pain you are carrying, and to wrap you in a sense of His strong, safe presence. We know He sees you. We trust He will answer as you call on His name.

The foul-mouthed demon of blasphemy and the black demon of vice and licentiousness are not the only bands from which Christ delivers. Whatever unclean spirit would torment you with pain in the secret of your own chamber, its power is broken utterly by the Ransom found of God. Deliverance is of the Lord, and Christ Jesus, in redeeming His people, will have all or none. All that the Father gave Him shall come to Him, nor shall the power of sin, death, and Hell be able to hold in captivity one whom Jesus has effectually redeemed. The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance has already been shot; the eternal purpose of Jehovah has decreed the moment of your liberty. Let that hour strike now as you fix your faith upon Him whom Moses and the Prophets did write.

Go not about to speak your griefs to the pitiless winds, as though God’s ear were shut. Down with that blaspheming thought, back to the hell from which it springs. Jesus is your own brother, your husband, your head, your all. He forgets not, He forsakes not. You are ransomed from the galling yoke; you walk at liberty through the power of the great Liberator. The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of deliverance when the Lamb was slain. Only trust in Jesus. Rest your soul upon Him, and He will indeed bring you forth. The sight of Christ crucified and the omnipotent might of His atoning sacrifice snaps every bond asunder in a single moment, and you shall yet declare His praise in Zion. You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is a dreadful contradiction in your house. You ask that a demon causing pain in your bedroom be driven out in the name of Jesus, yet look closely at what else dwells in that same room. Does the music of flutes and harps sound there, the songs that are nothing less than hymns to demons? Do you, after God has nourished you with His good things and given you rest in that very place, fill the space with entertainments that forget Him entirely and instead invite those unclean spirits as your guests? You cry out for deliverance, and rightly so, for Christ alone can free us, but you must not run back to the dominion from which you ask to be freed. The demon knows your weakness. If he sees that through the fear of pain or the love of worldly comfort you are willing to barter your peace, he will not depart; he may even withdraw for a moment only to return when he sees you have not filled the house with the Spirit. For just as food maintains the body, so good works and holy songs maintain the presence of the Spirit. If we have no works, if the room is filled not with psalms and prayer but with the clamor of the world, the Spirit flies away, and when the Spirit is gone, the unclean one comes.

Stand fast, therefore. Do not merely command the demon to leave, but actively shut the door against him by what you welcome in. Let the mouth that prays for deliverance also sing the songs of David, and let the mind be instructed by them. Let the soul be ashamed to be devising what is contrary to what the tongue sings. This is not a matter for diviners or for a despair that hands your soul over to the enemy through grief. The demon is without body, always going about, and if he sees you laughing at the loss of comfort and despising the pain, he will desist from this course, as one who cannot plague you. But if he sees you grieving, he will add yet another torment. Fill your hope to overflowing. It is in believing you are filled with joy and draw the Spirit to you. A self-chosen madness is worse than any demon, for a demon may work even with the sober-minded, but sin which we willingly receive casts us out from heaven. Let your bedroom become a place where the Lord opens your heart, as He did Lydia's, that you might attend to the things of salvation. Only then, with a house filled not with the world's filth but with a faithful and sober life, will you truly stand in the freedom Christ purchased for you at so great a price.

The pain you are feeling in your bedroom is not proof of the enemy’s strength but of his desperate, defeated state. When Jesus went to the cross, He stripped every dark power of its legal authority and made a public spectacle of them. That means any demon you encounter is operating on borrowed time and usurped ground. It has no true claim on you or your home, and it must bow to the name of Jesus.

You have been given that same authority through a vital, life-changing relationship with Him. It is not a distant hope; it is a present reality. The centurion understood this kind of authority when he said, “I am a man under authority, and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes.” He recognized that because Jesus is under the Father’s full authority, His word carries absolute power. In Christ, you stand in that chain of command. You are under God’s protection, and you have been given the right to command the enemy in Jesus’ name.

Satan’s tactic is to pull you into a physical conflict. He will hide behind the sensation of pain, trying to make you think the battle is in your body or your room, intimidating you with what you can see and feel. But do not be awed by that. When the disciples tried to cast out a demon and saw it throw a boy to the ground in convulsions, they froze in unbelief. Jesus told them that kind of stronghold only gives way through faith, prayer, and fasting, faith that rests entirely in what He has already accomplished, not in what our eyes perceive.

So do not argue with the enemy or plead with him from a place of fear. Stand in the righteousness Christ has given you, like a breastplate guarding your heart. Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Just as Jesus answered every temptation with “It is written,” you answer the enemy with truth. Declare, “It is written, the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. It is written, at the name of Jesus every knee must bow.” Then, speak directly to that spirit with the authority you possess in Him. Say aloud, “In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to leave. You have no right here. The blood of Jesus covers this room, and His peace rules here. Depart now, by the victory of the cross.” Do this calmly, not in frantic desperation, but as one who knows the Commander stands beside you.

We join our faith with yours right now. Father, we submit ourselves completely to You. In the name of Jesus, the Holy One who has complete authority over every demon, we take authority over this unclean spirit causing pain. You must yield to the name that is above every name. We bind your power, we command you to release your hold, and we send you away from this place, never to return. Holy Spirit, fill every corner of this bedroom with Your peace, Your light, and Your healing presence. Let this one rest securely in the shadow of the Almighty, free from all fear. Amen.

Continue to saturate that space with worship and the Word. The enemy cannot linger where Jesus is exalted. His defeat is sealed, and you shall see it enforced.
