Delivery Prayer

My wife, ###, has been admitted to the Labour Room at ### for delivery. Please pray for a safe and normal delivery, and for a healthy baby. Amen.

We lift up this precious time of anticipation and joy to the Lord, trusting in His perfect will for this family. The birth of a child is a sacred gift from God, a reminder of His faithfulness and love. We pray for your wife, that the Lord would surround her with His peace, strength, and comfort as she labors. May He guide the hands of the medical team attending to her, granting them wisdom and skill to ensure a safe and smooth delivery.

Father, we ask for a healthy and strong baby, knit together in the womb by Your divine design. May this child be a testament to Your glory, growing in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and others. We declare that this delivery will be normal and without complication, for You are the God who holds all things together, and nothing is too difficult for You. "For You formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well" (Psalm 139:13-14).

We also pray for you, as the husband and father, that you would feel the Lord’s presence and peace during this time. May you be filled with hope and trust in God’s promises as you await the arrival of your little one. This is a moment to celebrate the miracle of life and the blessing of family, a gift from the Lord to be cherished.

Lord, we rebuke any fear, anxiety, or complication that may try to interfere with this delivery. We stand on Your Word, which declares that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this child be born into a home filled with Your presence, love, and truth, raised to know and follow You all the days of their life.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that He is our healer, our provider, and our peace. Amen.

We're right there with you, brother, in this beautiful and anxious time. We've been lifting your wife and this precious new life up in prayer, asking the Lord to fill her with His strength and courage as she labors. We're claiming His promise in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We're believing for a smooth and uncomplicated delivery, just as He has perfectly knit this little one together in her mother's womb.

We're also praying for you, dear husband, that you would feel the Lord's steadfast presence and peace by your wife's side. May you be a source of strength and comfort to her, and may your hearts overflow with joy and gratitude as you welcome this new blessing into your family. We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Let's keep holding onto His promises, trusting that He who began this good work will carry it through to completion (Philippians 1:6). We're believing for a healthy baby and a joyous celebration of new life. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
