Deliverance

We join with you in prayer for deliverance and for God to replace your fear with His perfect peace, and we stand against this evil spirit on your behalf in the mighty name of Jesus.

We want to remind you of what Scripture tells us about fear and about the authority we have in Christ. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. We also know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us, James 4:7. The Lord promises that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. We have seen that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have authority over the enemy and access to the Father. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. It is by calling on His name and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead that we are saved, Romans 10:9, and it is in His name that evil spirits must leave, for these signs will accompany those who believe, in my name they will cast out demons, Mark 16:17.

So we pray together for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one who is oppressed by fear and by an evil spirit. We thank You that You have given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, Luke 10:19. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke this evil spirit and command it to leave and to go where Jesus sends it, never to return. We ask You to fill every place it has occupied with Your Holy Spirit, with Your light and Your truth, for You have not given a spirit of fear and we reject it now. Lord, we ask You to pour out Your peace upon this beloved one, to cast out all fear because perfect love casts out fear, 1 John 4:18, and to let Your presence bring calm and rest. We pray that fear will be gone and that Your comfort and assurance will remain. We ask that You help this one to draw near to You, to dwell in Your Word daily, to pray continually, and to put on the whole armor of God, Ephesians 6:11, so that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

We encourage you to continue to walk closely with the Lord after this prayer. Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Turn from any sin or open door that may have given the enemy a place, and fill your home and your heart with Scripture, worship, and prayer. Meet with other believers for fellowship and accountability, for God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. When fear tries to return, speak the Word of God aloud, for we know that You sought the Lord, and he answered you, and delivered you from all your fears, Psalm 34:4, and remember His promise, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. We are trusting God with you for complete deliverance and lasting peace in Jesus name.

We have been praying for you since reading your request, and we hear how much you want this fear lifted and real peace in its place.

Wanting to be free and to feel safe again is a good and honest prayer. We believe Jesus is the one who brings that freedom, and He meets us not with hurry or pressure, but with steady presence. You don't have to face this alone or figure it all out by yourself.

One gentle next step that often helps when fear feels spiritual and heavy is to invite one or two trusted, mature believers to walk with you consistently, a pastor or someone you trust who can pray with you, listen well, and check in over time. Deliverance is not meant to be a solo effort, and ongoing fellowship, prayer, and time in God's word help keep your heart anchored as God brings peace step by step. If the fear ever feels overwhelming or hard to manage day to day, it is also wise to reach out to a pastor or counselor you trust for extra support while we keep praying.

Father, in Jesus' name we ask You to draw near to our friend right now. We ask for Your protection, for the evil they sense to be driven out by Your authority, and for fear to give way to Your deep, steady peace. Fill their home and heart with Your presence, give them wisdom and trusted people to walk beside them, and help them rest in knowing they are Yours and held by You. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for deliverance has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, for the Lord loves the mercy seat and He dwells between the cherubim to meet those who draw near.

Fear is a painful and weakening thing which torments the spirit and dishonors God, for it whispers that the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. Yet how plentifully does the Lord plant this word in His garden, Fear not. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. To be afraid when He has thus spoken is disobedience, therefore labor to get rid of fear by trusting Him who cannot lie.

Know also that your deliverance is by divine power, not by your own strength. When Israel came out of Egypt it was Jehovah who brought forth His people, for their spirit was too crushed to dare to come forth by themselves. So it is with us, we are delivered when the Lamb was slain, for God has found a ransom and laid help upon One that is mighty. There is a way of deliverance from the pit which no man would have thought of, but God has thought of it and provided it in the blood which has made a full atonement.

There are two peaces, and we must not be deceived by the poisonous imitation. Satan makes conscience lie still that his power may be confirmed, and men cry Peace, peace, where there is no peace. But here we have peace from lips that cannot lie, peace from a heart which cannot change, peace through the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within. This is perfect peace, peace upon peace, for him whose mind is stayed upon God because he trusts in Him. It is a present possession even when duties press and sorrows surge round, for on Jesus bosom nothing but calm is found.

We pray for you now, that the evil spirit which troubles you may be cast out by the power of Christ, and that the dark thought which makes the ocean of your soul to boil may be stilled. May the Holy Spirit lead you to come to Jesus who is our peace, and to stay your mind upon Him. May He keep you in perfect peace, replace your fear with rest, and give you to know that you are accepted in the Beloved, justified by faith, and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Come to the Lord and Giver of peace even at this moment, plead this promise and find rest, for the Lord will bless His people with peace. Amen.

Fear has a way of settling into everything, even the quiet moments. There's a short spoken prayer called the Brain Balancing Prayer on the One Prayer at a Time YouTube channel, prayed over calming fear and anxious thoughts, and you only have to listen. I hope some real peace finds you.

We have heard your request for deliverance and for fear to be replaced with peace, and we are praying with you now.

Scripture teaches that we do have a real conflict with evil spirits, but it also teaches that the gospel itself is the gospel of peace. When we are at war with the enemy of our souls through faith in Christ, we are at peace with God. That peace is not only a feeling, but a restored relationship with Him through Jesus Christ alone, who alone delivers us from evil and brings us into adoption as sons and daughters. Through Him we receive not a spirit of fear, but the Spirit of adoption.

The fear of the Lord is something we learn as we are taught by His Word, and it drives out tormenting fear. As the psalm says, Come, children, listen to me, I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit, depart from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it. Following peace with all people and pursuing holiness helps guard the heart, and meeting together with other believers keeps us from being isolated and more vulnerable in temptation.

We also remember that God sometimes allows us to wait and to bear trials with courage while He works, so that our trust is strengthened and our deliverance is more clearly seen to be from Him. He is faithful to hear those who turn to Him.

Let us pray for you. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask for Your mercy and deliverance for this dear one. Cast out every evil influence and oppressive spirit, and break its power by the cross and resurrection of Christ. Forgive sin, cleanse the heart, and clothe this person with Christ. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and let fear be gone. Grant instead Your perfect peace that guards heart and mind, a peace that comes from knowing they are reconciled to You and held securely in Your hands. Teach them the healthy fear of the Lord, lead them to walk in Your Word, to depart from evil and do good, and to seek peace and pursue it. Make them strong, steadfast, and full of hope, and surround them with faithful fellowship and wise pastoral care. We ask this in the saving name of Jesus, amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in Scripture, stay connected to a faithful local church where you can receive teaching, prayer, and support, and if fear or oppression persists, reach out to a trusted pastor for ongoing prayer and counsel. God is able to deliver and to keep you in peace.
